A memorable and highly recommended diving experience
My first diving experience in Thailand. I was very happy about the whole trip and each dive. The underwater world is a sort of same but still different in each ocean. Despite my limited number of dive so far compare with those divers explored many more oceans, I did enjoy and value each dive. I could learn a lot from other divers from all over the world, happy to meet with new friends all the time. The cabin is quite small compared to other modern diving boats but considering its unique and legendary history, it's still a great experience, especially with the great enthusiasm from the whole crew, mouthwatering and authentic food provided each day (I surprisingly gained 1kg during this one week, I was expecting to loose a bit weight since diving supposed to burn more calories 😂) made this whole diving trip a memorable one . Thank you again, The Junk :)

Excellent!
Very well managed all the way from pick-up at aiport to drop-off after the cruise. Very friendly staff and dive guides. Excellent mix of Thai and western food (4 meals per day between each dives). 4 dives/day including 1 night dive and 2 dives on last day.

An impeccably organized expedition featuring world-class diving, expert crew support, and the unforgettable macro treasures of Richelieu Rock.
My first impression of The Junk was truly special. The vessel possesses a unique elegance and a classic, emotional charm that immediately set high expectations for the diving trip ahead. To be honest, I was initially taken aback by the cabins. They were much smaller than I had anticipated, which was a bit overwhelming at first. However, as the trip progressed, my perspective completely shifted. The professionalism and organization of the crew were world-class. Every dive was perfectly organized, and the crew’s attention to detail—from gear management to the overall schedule—brought a sense of stability and comfort to the entire journey. Their expertise and friendliness truly stood out, making every dive a satisfying experience. Beyond the diving, everything was fantastic. The food was excellent, and witnessing the sunrises and sunsets from the deck was nothing short of magical. I highly recommend The Junk to anyone planning a liveaboard in the Similan Islands. If you are looking for a systematic, professional, and stable diving adventure in Thailand, this is the perfect choice.

A wonderful dive trip on The Junk
The Junk is a beautiful old ship with a very special charm – we felt comfortable from the very first moment. The crew was simply amazing and spoiled us in every possible way: always friendly, attentive, and perfectly organized. The dives were a real highlight, especially thanks to Kwan as our guide. With him, we felt safe at all times, and he showed us so many incredible things – you can immediately tell how experienced and dedicated he is. The food was absolutely delicious and varied – a real treat after the dives! The cabins are small, but perfectly adequate. We stayed in a four-berth cabin, although two of us usually slept outside, which was much nicer. We also really enjoyed the two excursions, especially the visit to the Moken Village, which was something truly special. All in all, a fantastic experience that we would repeat anytime. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a special liveaboard trip with a great crew, amazing dives, and delicious food! 🌊🤿🚤 If you want, I can also tweak the tone a bit (shorter, more “TripAdvisor style,” or more polished).
