The Junk is a historic liveaboard that offers a unique experience, combining the charm of a traditional wooden ship with modern comforts, while taking divers on adventures around the Similan and Surin Islands. The Junk accommodates 18 divers in 6 fully air-conditioned cabins, each with an en-suite bathroom and hot shower. Choose from private, three-berth, or four-berth cabins to suit your preferences. The boat has a shaded dive deck, personal set-up areas, and the option for Nitrox diving.
This 33-meter authentic wooden sailing vessel has its claim to fame: It has been used in several films, including James Bond’s “The Man With The Golden Gun” and "Swiss Family Robinson."

A great trip on the junk
What a fun trip. The food was amazing, the staff did anything they could to make us happy and comfortable, the dive groups were just the right size and abilities were well matched and most of all the people I met were delightful

We saw mantas, different kinds of beautiful corals and plenty of fishes. It’s great to be able to dive among all these fauna.

Sailing the Andaman Sea, meeting so many nice People, diving at Richelieu Rock, getting stuffed with delicious Food, being offline for a whole Week, Relax to the Max.....

With only 15 people on board ut was not to crowded and we got to know everyone. They kept the groups small for diving. Food was great!! I liked the buffet style.

Relaxing diving trip
I enjoyed almost every diving sites. It was an enjoyable and relaxing trip. The boat was a little bit old and needs some upgrades, but it was nice and big enough to give me a stable and romantic experience.
