The 37m Thailand Master is a purpose-built sailing liveaboard designed by divers, for divers. Great dives, great food, great staff.
Dives were so much fun. The dive masters were relaxed but still took care of us without babying us. After every dive, the crew would provide you with hot drinks and we were fed five times a day.

Each and every one of the team contributed to the great success of this trip. Without exception, everyone was friendly, attentive and took care of the customers in the best possible way. The divemaster was outstandingly good and I felt very well informed on every dive, very safe and was able to enjoy the great dive sites. The beautiful ship also turned out to be very well equipped and my cabin was also very nice! I am totally thrilled with this great diving trip!

Look no further! This was one of the best diving experiences i've had to date.
Apart from the lucky visit by a 5m Manta Ray. Everything about this trip was perfect. I had planned to lose a bit of weight, However the food laid on was too good not to have seconds :). Super friendly crew and a very chilled and relaxed atmosphere all over the very spacious boat. Can't wait to return again to the Phinisi.

Best boat crew in Thailand
Nice big wooden boat. Better than the smaller boats which I was on in 2020. Didn't have a dive guide as I only Snorkel but boat crew catered for this and made sure when possible to get us to the reefs and shallow parts. Nice that we could sleep anywhere as I couldn't stand the AC...

I'll try once again!
The first liveaboard in my life. It was not too long and not too short, 5 days and 4 nights. Storm was coming but we didn't worry about that, because of the stable crew and dive masters. I just really recommend this if you are on your first trip. Above all Sai's cooking will block sea sickness, I swear.

Outstanding, such a hard-working crew, exceptionally high standards!
I cannot recommend the Phinisi as a liveaboard experience more enough - this was the most incredible and professional liveaboard I have been on. From the safety briefings, to the dive sites, to the food, the onboard pharmacy, the aesthetic of the wooden boat (with functional sails…!) it was all amazing. The crew are incredibly friendly, professional and fun - the boat is so spacious with lots of areas to hang out and have space from other members, and the cabins are all air conditioned with en suites and so comfortable! The diving was beautiful with Richieu Rock being a stand out dive site - highly recommend taking the crews advice and getting up early as the site can become crowded with lots of divers - but it is so worth it. We didn’t have as many big fish i.e. mantas, whale sharks but we went early November which is slightly out of season - and sadly the water was very warm (the bigger fish liking cooler water). All in all an absolutely outstanding experience with the crew making the effort to put the sails up on our last day which was so special - and it truly is the most beautiful boat on the Andaman Sea!

Super nice liveaboard on the Phinisi
The highlight of the trip was of course the whale shark, which we saw, only one 5 divers and no one else around, wonderful experience.
Recommended for
Everything worked perfectly. Although the ship is newly used as a safari boat, the crew (Thai as well as the rest) seemed very organized and helpful. The rental equipment is completely new and of high quality. In terms of safety, it's also great. Before each dive, a good briefing with important information. The dive groups were divided according to experience level, and adjusted after the check dive and possibly later. Nitrox always 32%.

The liveaboard of a lifetime.
This boat and its staff brought together a fantastic group of human beings with whom to spend a week diving. The accommodations and the gear were all top notch. During my time on board, I completed my advanced certification with Jonathan, who is an incredible mentor and cruise director. Also important, the staff and crew on The Phinisi are incredibly respectful of marine life and observant of the national park regulations. Highly recommend.

Excellent Dive Experience In The Andaman Sea
I had a great experience during my 7 day liveaboard on the Phinisi. The dive sites were fantastic, if a bit crowded with divers from other boats. The Phinisi carries a relatively small number of divers, but some of the competing companies bring a lot of divers so it can get crowded. Our cruise director was good at avoiding the worst of the crowds. The reef life was fantastic. We had bad luck and didn't see any big pelagics, but that's uncontrollable. The dive instructors and dive masters were excellent. I enjoyed the food, a mix of Thai and western, it was tasty and there was more than enough. Overall the Phinishi made a good dive boat with all the necessary facilities. My one minor complaint - sharing 4 to a cabin wasn't the most comfortable, but we made it work.

Incredible: everything!
Marco the trip leader is a true professional and he and the rest of the staff bend over backwards to make it your best trip ever. The dive sites were good, avoiding the day trip boats very well. The food was out of this world, and the dorms were very comfy with softer beds and cold AC.

I enjoyed my first trip to Thailand, I have dived in several locations in 2023, 5 locations and loved them all but my trip on the Phinisi was the best of all, loved the boat and the crew were great, and and yes once again loved the food. The dive sites were varied and great with plenty of life, on one trip had to push the fish out of the way so I could see my buddy.

Unforgettable Dive Adventure - Easter 2024
My recent experience aboard this liveaboard surpassed all expectations and left me with memories to cherish for a lifetime. From the moment we stepped on board, we were greeted with warm hospitality and professionalism from the entire crew. The staff's extensive knowledge of the dive sites and dedication to safety reassured us throughout the trip, allowing us to focus entirely on the incredible diving experiences that awaited us. The liveaboard itself was a comfortable and well-equipped vessel, providing all the amenities one could need for a week-long dive excursion. Our cabins were meticulously maintained. The communal areas, including the lounge, dining area, and sundeck, were inviting spaces to relax and socialize with fellow divers between dives. But it was the diving that truly stole the show. Each day brought new and breathtaking underwater landscapes, from vibrant coral reefs teeming with marine life to exhilarating drift dives along dramatic walls and pinnacles. The dive guides were knowledgeable and passionate about marine conservation, enriching our dives with fascinating insights into the underwater ecosystem. One highlight of our trip was the opportunity to embark on night dives, where we witnessed a whole new world come to life beneath the surface. The nocturnal marine creatures were nothing short of mesmerizing, providing an unforgettable experience that we'll cherish forever. Of course, no dive trip would be complete without delicious food to fuel our adventures, and the onboard chef certainly delivered. From hearty breakfasts to gourmet dinners, every meal was a culinary delight, with plenty of options to accommodate dietary preferences and restrictions. Great dive group and great food
The overall experience was great and fun. Woody helped me reduce my dive weights for better neutral buoyancy. The macro marine life was disappointing and not comparable with Indonesia. As was the camera station which was not a seperate room as is on every other Liveaboard I have joined
