New for 2016, and the sister ship to MV Pawara is the Sawasdee Fasai. A custom-built dive liveaboard offering trips to the amazing dive sites of the Andaman Sea between October and May each year. The enormous dive deck on board ensures enough room for the 26 divers onboard, with ample gear storage and kitting-up space. Aboard the Sawasdee Fasai, divers can experience the amazing dive sites of the Andaman Sea and explore the famous dive sites of Richelieu Rock, Koh Bon, Elephant Head Rock, or Koh Tachai in the Similan Islands.
Topside, the Sawasdee Fasai, has 15 air-conditioned cabins catering to a maximum of 30 guests. Located on the main deck are 2 master cabins and 5 deluxe cabins, each with sea views and en-suite bathrooms. On the lower deck are 4 standard cabins with en-suite bathrooms and 4 budget cabins with shared bathroom facilities. There is plenty of room for relaxation with the huge sundeck, outside lounge area, indoor lounge, and refreshment bar.

Magical!
What an amazing experience with Sawasdee Fasai! I loved every minute. The diving was beautiful with great visibility and variety of underwater life. Loved the corals and the abundance of fish especially at Richelieu Rock which is now one of the best dives of my life. All the dive sites were great however and I enjoyed the trip immensely. The crew were fantastic and run a great operation. Nothing was too much for them, always helpful and smiling. Food was delicious. Budget cabin was more than adequate. Shout out to Rob our excellent divemaster who took great care of our group and always pointed out interesting things underwater. Would recommend this trip 100%.

I am happy with my choice and would book Sawasdee Fasai again. The crew was amazing: Great cooking ladies, great boat crew who supported us for the diving gear, great dive masters and the trip director did a fantastic job with all the briefings and made a lot uf fun. The dive sites we visited were okay, missed the mantas and whale sharks, but what can we do. The food was so delicious and always good choices. You will never be hungry. The rooms are small, there is not so much comfort, but that's what you deal with on a lifeaboard. Otherwise boat well kept, clean.

Would do it all again in a heartbeat!
My partner and I did this Livaboard in Dec 2025 and had the most incredible time. The trip was organised well, the diving was outstanding with great variety, the crew were lovely and helpful, the food spread was delicious with a variety of options (the also catered for dietaries very well). I completed my Advanced course and the instructor / guide (Mici) was absolutely amazing and an awesome teacher. I learnt loads and felt very safe. This was one of the best experiences of my life, thank you to all the crew.

Great trip on a great boat at a great price
I have been on 5 liveaboards in the Maldives and Egypt and would certainly rate this trip as one of the best. The high standard of the food, staff and boat are essential for a good time especially if the weather and diving conditions are not ideal. The dive deck was well laid out and staggering the groups ensured plenty of space for pre and post dive preparation. The rooms were comfortable with plenty of storage and enough plugs for charging batteries and appliances.

Everything worked including the aircon and rigids with a step ladder was great. The captain was very competent getting close for the pick ups and drop offs..

It was the best ship to enjoy in Similan.
It is even more enjoyable to have the staff who helped me to travel happily and comfortably throughout the trip. It has become a diving trip, and I would like to visit again at any time if I have the opportunity in the future.
