A highly recommended boat.
The boat is spacious, the budget cabins are small but functional. The food is great, the organization and support all around top. The highlight is diving at Richelieu Rock, with really lots of fish. The rest of the dive sites were ok. The visibility was about 10-15m. A normal dive here takes about 50-55min.

An incredible trip that you will not forget!!
The Sawasdee Fasai liveaboard is brilliant all around. No corners are cut in the guest experience, and it has been a blissful journey from beginning to end!! Food on the boat is extremely good and freshly made every day. All meals and snacks are served such that everyone has enough, and the kitchen crew makes sure everyone enjoys the food, suggesting alternatives otherwise. The boat has unlimited sea sickness tablets and they are really effective so don't fear being sea sick. I was too the first day but just 3 pills a day completely removed the nausea and illness. Dive staff is very kind and helpful, be it in equipping, de kitting- there will always be someone to help you if you struggle with something. The boat is designed for these diving trips, and it really shows. Coming from dive centers optimized for diving efficiency, such as RSDS in Egypt, I was surprised to see how much more optimized this was: the cylinders never move, the longest bit you'll have to carry it is from the kitting up bench to the end of the boat from where we jump off. Fills are generous, and you can ask for more to get 220 bar ! Nitrox is free onboard, a huge plus given the intensity of the cruise, and 15 L tanks are cheap. Rooms are functional, was in a budget cabin, quite small but given the price nothing to complain about. The top deck offers beautiful viewing of the ocean and islands as well as nice nap times with the many sun loungers and bean bags:)) Being able to go to sail rock on Similan Islands by foot (unhabited island) was nothing short of superb and really enhanced the experience, not to mention the numerous islands you will see, the breathtaking landscapes coming up from the dives, and the one in a lifetime sunset the night before arriving to Richelieu Rock. Overall, the experience is really curated for the guest, even coming down to age partitioning- our boat Fasai had the younger people on it and Pawara some older guests which was perfect for meeting people:)) Will 100% do again in the near future, can only recommend. Words can't describe how nice this trip is!!!!

Great trip on a great boat at a great price
I have been on 5 liveaboards in the Maldives and Egypt and would certainly rate this trip as one of the best. The high standard of the food, staff and boat are essential for a good time especially if the weather and diving conditions are not ideal. The dive deck was well laid out and staggering the groups ensured plenty of space for pre and post dive preparation. The rooms were comfortable with plenty of storage and enough plugs for charging batteries and appliances.

- Staff happy, helpful, professional, courteous, efficient.. Food was excellent with the right blend of Asian and European options and plenty of variety.. The boat condition was very good. Everything worked including the aircon and rigids with a step ladder was great. The captain was very competent getting close for the pick ups and drop offs..
