Amazing time on Pawara
Great time all around. The food was amazing, the crew as well. The dive sites were beautiful and our guide Mickey was full of energy and love for the ocean. The vibes on the boat were great, loads of fun A big shout-out to the Thai crew who made our life so easy, even reminding us to drink water before a dive and waiting with hot towels after sunset/night dives.

Excellent
Highly recommend for their liveaboard boat the MV PAWARA, had an excellent time on a 4 night 5 day dive to Similans and Richelieu Rock. We weren't experienced divers but our dive instructor Mickey was a blast and taught us very well. Food was 10/10 and onboard service impeccable.

Super nice liveaboard trip
We had a great dive safari on board the Pawara. Richelieu Rock was the absolute highlight of the trip, but the other dive sites were also nice. We especially liked the calm and relaxed circumstances of the dive (generally not too much current, good visibility, 29 degrees water, easy entry and exit). Dive guide Mici was knowledgeable and friendly. She was willing to send people low on air up early so that the rest of us could stay down a little longer. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They even brought Christmas hats for everyone to wear during Christmas dinner, that included an amazing turkey! Good to know: if you’re over 1.75m, you can not stand up straight in the budget room. Beds were long enough and there was a lot of storage space. Overall a great experience!

Excellent First Liveaboard
This was our first liveaboard, and it’s going to be hard to top. The diving in the Similans was incredible — every site felt unique and full of life. Mickey and the entire crew went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and taken care of the whole time. We were always well fed, well rested, and genuinely excited for every single dive. An unforgettable experience.

A liveaboard done right!!
Just finished a 4 night trip on the Pawara and I genuinely cannot recommend it enough. I was nervous that 4 nights on the boat would be too much but I can assure you that by the end you will not be ready to leave. From the moment we stepped on board, the crew set the tone - professional, attentive and incredibly warm. You could feel that they truly care about the guests and the ocean. What stood out most to me was how clearly they prioritized environmental respect. Briefings reinforced protecting the reef and preserving the dive sites, and not in a preachy way, but as a diver that meant a lot. The diving itself was fantastic, but honestly, the energy on deck made the whole trip special. Between dives there was so much laughter, good music and a great vibe. It was a great balance of safety, structure and pure fun! Four nights flew by! I left with amazing memories, new dive buddies, and a lot of appreciation for a crew that clearly loves what they do. Would absolutely do it again. Special shoutout to my dive guides Mickey and Pong!

Well run Similan Islands Liveaboard, thoroughly recommend.
As experienced Liveaboard divers we were impressed with the organisation and setup. The boat is in excellent condition but with a full complement of divers it is a bit of a squeeze for space, however not uncomfortably so. Boat and dive safety are a clear priority and even travelling with the sister boat Sawasdee Fasai gives a level of confidence that has not always apparent on other trips that we have done. Boat director Mickey was great at the dive briefings and helping keep the busy dive schedule on track. With four dives a day it is full-on and very little down time, however there was still an opportunity to get onshore with an island visit on one afternoon. The deck crew were amazing at helping everyone get kitted up, not to mention assisting with returning aboard. The food produced by the kitchen staff was delicious and plentiful. The diving really didn’t disappoint. Plenty of sealife and particularly large shoals of assorted species at Richelieu, although a tad surprising not to see any sharks the sheer numbers of fish was mind blowing. I would say that the diving is appropriate for advanced level or higher and a Nitrox qualification is almost essential due to the depth and dive frequency.

great experience
So that was my first liveaboard experience and I'm very satisfied. Boat is in good shape, thai crew and dive masters are very friendly. Beto is a great leader who can help you with every problem. Diving was great, especially on Richelieu Rock, and the sunsets were most beautiful I've ever seen. Free nitrox is a nice addition. Def gonna come back in future.
