The MV DiveRACE Class E has several multi-day itineraries offering diving at Thailand's best spots. Typical 5D4N trips sail to either the northern Andaman, such as Similan Islands and Richelieu Rock, or the southern area, such as Hin Deang and Hin Muang. All our destinations offer a variety of diving - deep to shallow, wall to reef, and macro to wide-angle photography. Get lucky with Whalesharks, Mantas, and much more exotic marine life.

Excellent bvalue for money with a dive and boat crew that cares
Richelieu Rock - best visibility and quantity of marine life. A whole day was spent there instead if the planned two dives. In fact you could spend a whole week there and not see everything..

船很舒适，服务很热情，食物也很好吃 最棒的是我们的潜导，来自新加坡的vincent，我们的英语并不是很好，而且我们的潜水经验并不丰富，但vincent 很认真的给我们讲解，在水下很负责人的帮助我的妻子，在我们的摄像机掉进海里之后，帮助我们潜水去找，后来还把他的GOPRO借给我们使用，他非常非常棒！ thank you , our dive instrutor, VINCENT!!!

Didn't Want To Leave...
We had an amazing time on our trip out to Similan Islands and at the end of the trip, we didn't want to leave. Our Dive Master, Sun, made sure we had the best, safest, and most memorable dive experience ever. First the Diving: the water was warm, visibility up to 30 meters, fish and life EVERYWHERE. We didn't see any of the big guys (sharks, mantas) but that was okay. The amount of fish, hard/soft coral, eels, crabs, lobsters, cuttle fish, octopus, nuddy branches, jellies, starfish, etc... kept us fully occupied. Richelieu Rock was our favourite and we dove 3 times there. The Crew: Super friendly, helpful and accessible. Never seen a group of people work so hard with huge smiles the whole time. Our Dive Master: Sun was sensational. Hope you're lucky enough to get her. She went out of her way to make sure we were safe and guided us through our Nitrox and Advanced Diver Certifications - made it fun as well as educational. On dives, she let us do our thing, but made sure to find and point out interesting things we would want to see. The Food: SO GOOD. Everything is cooked fresh on board. Great variety and the made sure to accommodate any dietary restrictions. They feed you like you're going to visit grandma after 10 years away so be prepared to eat. The Cabin: We booked the nice one with the ensuite and balcony. Plenty of space, cleaned daily, and the private bathroom was nice. The equipment: Everything was in great condition, my wet suit my have been brand new. Tips: If you plan to do any certifications on board, buy drinks, buy shirts, leave a tip, etc... make sure you have cash on hand. We fought with the ATM after we docked, and that was the only negative experience of the entire trip. Feedback to DiveRace: Only once piece of feedback. I know every group is different, but for our group, we wasted a lot of food. Although the food was delicious, smaller portions would have been nice to save on the amount of waste. A small detail, but did want to share. THANKS FOR AN AMAZING, UNFORGETABLE EXPERIENCE.

I had a great time on the trip, our dive master was approachable and knowledgeable about the different sites. The quality of the diving was good, and the food was really yummy :)

Diving in the New Year is Crowded
Trip was very good, but diving in the Similan's around the New Year was quite crowded despite the efforts of the crew to stagger diving times with other boats. Vegan options were slightly limited, specially if compared to variety offered to others. Elevated price around New Year is, in my opinion, not worth it. There were some fireworks, but not an actual party and most dive sites had at least 6/7 other boats around.
