The MV Deep Andaman Queen liveaboard underwent a complete rebuild in 2019 to offer luxury dive trips in Thailand. The 30m yacht caters for up to 25 divers in 11 cabins. There are 2 Master Cabins and 5 Deluxe cabins located on the main deck, and the twin, triple, or quad cabins are located on the lower deck, offering something to suit every budget. All cabins are equipped with individually controlled AC units, a private en-suite bathroom, charging ports, fresh towels, and ample storage space. Social areas include a modern indoor air-conditioned salon with sofas and camera editing station and an outdoor dining area where delicious Thai and Western dishes will be served buffet-style. There is also an enormous sun deck with a covered outdoor lounge, ideal for relaxing in-between dives.

Amazing staff and great experience on-board Deep Andaman Queen
Where do I begin to describe the amazing experience I had on board? I have to start with Max the barista/steward who made the meanest flat white I had in Thailand and I did not expect that, good coffee is essential and Max made my mornings better. Our dive guide Nin was both very competent and genuinely interested in the marine life, he looked very well after our group and each dive was very nicely guided without going too much of a crowd around us. The chef See and her assistant Nok gave us some excellent meals, the highlight having to be the barbecue but also the breakfast with bao buns! Everyone really was helpful and nice and you can tell they work hard to keep the ship and us divers safe and happy. Steve is of course running a tight ship but he also loves a story, a true professional of the trade. Thank you so much for the experience!

We loved the 5 days spent on this liveabord, the conditions of the boat are spectacular, the staff is very helpful, friendly and does everything to make us feel comfortable. Well organized beautiful boat
We did the south tour to Koh Lipe and had a fantastic guide Alena, who was always super sweet and in a good mood and a fantastic spotter. Despite the poor visibility in the sea, we saw so many beautiful animals and corals and the boat overturned the whole original plan to go to dive sites with the best possible visibility, which was really great. The cabins and shower are clean and relatively spacious, the food is fantastic. The only unusual thing was that you had to change all the time, because you were not allowed to get up from the dive deck in a bikini or swimming trunks because of the seat cushions, not even with a poncho or dried, which means changing clothes 8 times a day. But that's not a bad thing, the schedule allows it to be quite relaxed.

My Spectacular Trip on DAQ
The Chef put on a theme meal every night that catered for the guests cultures and amazed us every time (Thai Night, Japanese Night, American night, BBQ night, etc) The crew were very experienced and excited to show us the sites. The briefings were detailed and fun and gave a wealth of history to the locations. The facility’s were clean, spacious and comfortable. The Dive sites were tremendous!!!!! I can confidently speak for all the guests on this trip by saying that the chef and the boat crew were amazing and made every day a unique experience!! Special mention to Nui, Steve & the chef. First time on a live aboard
My girlfriend and I tried out the Deep Andaman Queen as our first live aboard experience. We were very impressed with the care, coordination and amazing support that we received on board. As first timers, we didn’t know what to expect. We completed our AOW certification just before arriving so we had fresh experience which helped, though the dive team helped us check out all of our gear and weights on the checkout dive. Every dive site and experience just got better and better the further we went into the trip. The food was amazing, the staff and crew were wonderful and we had such a great time building a community with the other dive guests. The briefings before each dive were thorough and carefully planned out. I’d highly recommend taking advantage of the Nitrox certification as we found it made our energy levels much improved and able to keep up with the 4 dives per day.

Immaculate and comfortable boat, world class diving and dive team and delicious food
The Deep Andaman Queen was immaculate with a very comfortable and spacious room and shower (we had the master ocean suite) The food was delicious and plentiful with multiple options every time (Thai and western food) and even the coffee was amazing with the on board barista The dive team were very informative always giving very detailed briefings of the sites. The groups were nice and small too (only 4 people per guide) The boat had a large dive deck and the staff were always on hand to help you onto the boat The dive sites were amazing and we were lucky enough the see an oceanic manta. Even without this there are world class dive sites The only downside was the wifi on the boat wasn’t working for the duration of the trip (and apparently the trip before)

The quad cabin was bigger than expected and it was nice to have a bathroom off every room. Diving Richelieu rock was amazing, could spend a whole week at this site!

Perfect organised, pickup on time, comfortable transfer, great and warm welcome on the boat, Steve is a person who knows perfectly how to lead a trip like this to create the maximum adventure for the guests. High performance paired with a lot of flexibility to maximise our adventure was that what the crew was providing every day 24 hours. Hard to get it in words, but a big thank you to all crew members for making this unforgettable days for us. 11 out of 10

Pleasant Liveaboard Experience on Deep Andaman Queen
I recently joined a short trip on the Deep Andaman Queen and had a truly enjoyable experience. The crew and dive guides were friendly, professional, and well-organized, with clear and informative briefings before each dive that made everything smooth and easy to follow. Despite being off-peak season, visibility was still decent, and the dive sites were well-chosen — offering a good mix of marine life and underwater landscapes. The highlight was definitely Richelieu Rock, which lived up to its reputation. We were lucky to see big schools of jacks, tuna, and barracuda, along with a rich variety of smaller reef life. Big thanks to Nui - she was a great guide with a very good eye, spotting little things! Overall, a great trip with a relaxed atmosphere, solid guiding, and memorable dives. I’d be happy to join Deep Andaman Queen again for a longer itinerary in the future.

Really well run boat and great staff
Really well run boat. Safety and proper operating procedures is top priority for the cruise director Steve - who runs a tight ship with really good briefings. Responsibility to dive with care is taken seriously by the whole crew, who are really caring and friendly. Food was great - with most meals having a western and Thai option to choose from depending on how you were feeling. Free soft drinks and great quality coffee was a plus. We had fairly rough sea conditions on our trip, and some of the crossings were not comfortable, but the crew were so great in doing what they could to make us feel better. Staff shoutouts: > Max & Nu - barista making great coffees, assisted by Nu who kept the cabins super clean and tidy > See & Nok - cooking team . Food was amazing!! And cant have been fun to prepare with the swells we got > Nong and Bom - The dinghy captains. Great at helping us dive and gettign on and off the boat in rough conditions > Ran - Engineer who also helps on the dive deck, very attentive before and after dives > Ekk - Our dive guide, was awesome and super chilled to dive with > Nui - Other dive guide - great Nudi spotter!! Downsides: None that really bothered me to be honest (hence 5 stars) but a few notes that other divers sometimes look out for: Beers can be bought , but no fancy bar setup if you spend your liveaboards working your way through cocktail lists. Onboard Wifi is a little patchy (probably due an upgrade to starlink) but decent enough to send Whatsapps. Generally the boat is not as fancy as in other parts of the world but think this is reflected in the pricing

Everything was just perfect. All the organization, the crew, the food, the people. A very good experience. Highly experienced dives guides (Thanks to Steve and Deano): thanks to them I enjoyed fantastic dives, learnt a lot, and had a great fun ! We had whale sharks, turtles, scorpion fishes and many other marine life, wrecks, good food (specially the Thai one). I definitely recommend this liveaboard !!!! Do not hesitate, just sign up :)!!! Entirely positive experience! I really enjoyed the diving and the spots we explored and I found that the Similan islands are well worth the trip for Europe. The cruise leader, Steve, is very competent and I appreciated his professionalism, enthusiasm and friendly attitude. I was also particularly amazed by the boat crew and how much they cared for us. From preparing excellent coffee to rushing to help you when they see that you are putting your BCD on, they work very hard to ensure that you have a good time on their boat! My gratitude to Wat, Run, Max, Nu, Nonc, Bom, See and Nok for how much you contributed to make this liveaboard a blast!

A great experience with a well organised team giving excellent briefings prior to each dive.
I would have to say the highlights were the pristine reef condition within the Similan Island National Park and Richelieu Rock as well as the prolific fish life. This is a very healthy reef supporting a diverse eco system. Best diving is around 15 - 20 metres giving plenty of bottom time to explore.

Great boat, great crew and outstanding diving
An amazing experience, from the moment we stepped on board we know that this was a highly professional outfit. The crew led by Steve was brilliant, the briefings and knowledge of the dive sights was of the highest standard. The organisation around the dives was excellent with no “rush” yet very efficient. The food was plentiful and good variation. Always ready when needed with snacks and soft drinks available. Steve leads the crew with a firm yet friendly manner ensuring standards are maintained. Highly recommended.
