The MV Deep Andaman Queen liveaboard underwent a complete rebuild in 2019 to offer luxury dive trips in Thailand. The 30m yacht caters for up to 25 divers in 11 cabins. There are 2 Master Cabins and 5 Deluxe cabins located on the main deck, and the twin, triple, or quad cabins are located on the lower deck, offering something to suit every budget. All cabins are equipped with individually controlled AC units, a private en-suite bathroom, charging ports, fresh towels, and ample storage space. Social areas include a modern indoor air-conditioned salon with sofas and camera editing station and an outdoor dining area where delicious Thai and Western dishes will be served buffet-style. There is also an enormous sun deck with a covered outdoor lounge, ideal for relaxing in-between dives.

M/V Deep Andaman Queen Liveaboard takes great pride in the huge dive platform located at the back of the boat which boasts a wide and spacious kitting up area on two levels, a separate entry/exit platform, 2 exit ladders with 2 freshwater showers to rinse yourself or your equipment after diving and also 2 large buckets with fresh water for rinsing cameras and personal dive equipment. Amazing trip with very helpful and friendly staff
Friendliness of all the staff made a very happy relaxed dive boat but everything was well organised and planned. Food was great. Good kit. The underwater life was amazing.

Everything was just perfect. All the organization, the crew, the food, the people. A very good experience. Highly experienced dives guides (Thanks to Steve and Deano): thanks to them I enjoyed fantastic dives, learnt a lot, and had a great fun ! INCREDIBLE first liveaboard experience on the Deep Andaman Queen!
My husband and I had an AMAZING first liveaboard experience aboard the Deep Andaman Queen! While we are very experienced divers, we had never lived onboard a vessel to dive multiple days in a row like this, and it’s safe to say we loved it and it will not be our last liveaboard! The crew aboard the Deep Andaman Queen are exceptional - kind, friendly, extremely helpful, and most importantly very skilled and experienced as dive guides and instructors. They make you feel safe and comfortable without babying you, which we really appreciated. The boat itself is very comfortable (borderline luxurious for what it is), and I highly recommend splurging for the master cabin if you can - it’s huge and super comfortable! The food was plentiful and totally phenomenal, which was great because you find yourself wanting to eat a lot with all that diving. Finally, the diving itself was such a blast. Despite some less than ideal weather conditions, things under the surface remained stunning, and we enjoyed the beautiful seascapes and abundant marine life so much! We can’t wait to be back aboard the Deep Andaman Queen in the future!

Great boat, great crew and outstanding diving
An amazing experience, from the moment we stepped on board we know that this was a highly professional outfit. The crew led by Steve was brilliant, the briefings and knowledge of the dive sights was of the highest standard. The organisation around the dives was excellent with no “rush” yet very efficient. The food was plentiful and good variation. Always ready when needed with snacks and soft drinks available. Steve leads the crew with a firm yet friendly manner ensuring standards are maintained. Highly recommended.

Great boat and nice staff for spend a wonderful diving trip.
Unfortunately we don't spot Manta Ray or Whale Shark during this trip end of February but to diving in the Similan Islands was really great especially when we reach Richelieu Rock where the colors and quantity of fish were amazing! Definitely worth the trip to diving in this area.
Recommended for
The crew was super friendly and helpful for make the Liveaboard even more enjoyable. Our dive master where trying to choose dive location to avoid too much affluence from other boats to avoid meeting too much divers underwater. The food was very nice as a mix of Western and Thai food, very yummy after the 4 daily dives sessions.

A great experience with a well organised team giving excellent briefings prior to each dive.
I would have to say the highlights were the pristine reef condition within the Similan Island National Park and Richelieu Rock as well as the prolific fish life. This is a very healthy reef supporting a diverse eco system. Best diving is around 15 - 20 metres giving plenty of bottom time to explore.

Great friendly crew and fellow divers. Dive Master, Steve, was helpful and available for advice. Logistics from pick up at hotel, and return from boat was excellent.

Absolutely incredible I could not find one thing to complain about
The boat crew and dive guide need to be congratulated on how well they ran the boat and the diving. Specifically, Steve the head guide, he was incredible, always helpful, informative, friendly, safety conscious and fun. He really made the trip in my eyes could not have asked for better people. The guide I had on the dives Liane was fantastic pointing out marine life I would have never spotted on my own, keeping an eye on us without smothering us and giving us the space to enjoy the dive yet always being there when needed. The boat crew were so helpful and most of the little things they did were so minor but so so helpful when getting kitted up or getting back on the boat. The food was good and there was always plenty of it. Could not complain about anything for the entire trip. Great time and was sad to leave the boat. Highly recommended.

Entirely positive experience! I really enjoyed the diving and the spots we explored and I found that the Similan islands are well worth the trip for Europe. The cruise leader, Steve, is very competent and I appreciated his professionalism, enthusiasm and friendly attitude. I was also particularly amazed by the boat crew and how much they cared for us. From preparing excellent coffee to rushing to help you when they see that you are putting your BCD on, they work very hard to ensure that you have a good time on their boat! Amazing Atmosphere, Great Diving
As a relatively inexperienced diver, I had no idea what I was getting into with my first ever liveaboard. Comms with DAQ was smooth prior to my arrival, and they answered every question I had. The staff were super friendly and helpful, willing to lend a helping hand be it answering questions or getting in and out of dive gear. As the most inexperienced diver on board, I had a tall order "keeping up" with the other more experienced folk on board, given my rustiness and lack of confidence. Big shout out to the whole dive team - especially Fred - for being patient with me and imparting valuable advice and tips that I will do my level best to apply on all future dives. I most certainly stepped off the boat a slightly more assured diver, but I know I have a long way to go on my journey yet. The food on board was amazing, big shout out to Nok and See for keeping everyone on board well fed. Easily some of the best Thai food I've had in my life. I've never gone on a cruise before, let alone a liveaboard and didn't know what to expect in terms of accommodation. The bunk I was in was clean and comfortable. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my experience with DAQ and would recommend it to anyone looking to dive in the Similans.

First time on a live aboard
My girlfriend and I tried out the Deep Andaman Queen as our first live aboard experience. We were very impressed with the care, coordination and amazing support that we received on board. As first timers, we didn’t know what to expect. We completed our AOW certification just before arriving so we had fresh experience which helped, though the dive team helped us check out all of our gear and weights on the checkout dive. Every dive site and experience just got better and better the further we went into the trip. The food was amazing, the staff and crew were wonderful and we had such a great time building a community with the other dive guests. The briefings before each dive were thorough and carefully planned out. I’d highly recommend taking advantage of the Nitrox certification as we found it made our energy levels much improved and able to keep up with the 4 dives per day.

Immaculate and comfortable boat, world class diving and dive team and delicious food
The Deep Andaman Queen was immaculate with a very comfortable and spacious room and shower (we had the master ocean suite) The food was delicious and plentiful with multiple options every time (Thai and western food) and even the coffee was amazing with the on board barista The dive team were very informative always giving very detailed briefings of the sites. The groups were nice and small too (only 4 people per guide) The boat had a large dive deck and the staff were always on hand to help you onto the boat The dive sites were amazing and we were lucky enough the see an oceanic manta. Even without this there are world class dive sites The only downside was the wifi on the boat wasn’t working for the duration of the trip (and apparently the trip before)

Steve & the entire crew were all fantastic! Very helpful & attentive to all our needs, whether it was some personal issue, help getting in or off the boat, getting in or out of our gear, or anything else! Very serving attitudes!! The food was spectacular! Delicious & plentiful! Well run trip! You felt confident that all was going to be taken care of, no matter what it was. A Most Enjoyable Trip!
This was a great trip. I can't say enough about the crew. They were attentive without being annoying and they all worked together, taking on jobs that weren't necessarily assigned to them; they all pitched in. The food was amazing! I loved that there were traditional Thai dishes served and not some Americanized menu. They really tried to accommodate food preferences and restrictions. My best diving highlight was the manta ray. So glad she showed up!
