Superb dives with a professional and caring team
Richelieu Rock deserves its 4th place of the best dive sites in the world! It really makes you want to go back... Especially with such a professional and friendly team, who knew how to adapt to the bad weather and ensure our safety during the 4 dives a day with the "Dinghy boat"!

If you are an experienced diver, absolutely do NOT hesitate to book the south trip with Deep Andaman Queen. Seriously. This trip is fantastic!
If you are an experienced diver, absolutely do NOT hesitate to book the south trip with Deep Andaman Queen. Seriously. This trip is fantastic. From the very first email everything just clicks. Communication beforehand is spot on, the hotel pickup is right on time with a super friendly driver, the welcome at the pier feels warm and relaxed, and the boat briefing is clear, structured, and actually enjoyable to listen to. Once on board, it only gets better. The rooms are spacious, the bathrooms are too which is always a win on a liveaboard, Max the barista serves genuinely great coffee, breakfast is well prepared, and the dive briefings are clear, professional, and packed with useful tips. The diving equipment is in good condition, the reefs in the south are in excellent shape, and the crew is incredibly helpful. They will do everything possible to get you into the water and safely back on board with a big smile. And yes, there is a lot of food. And yes, it is delicious. Very delicious. Did I mention there is a lot of it 😉 The only reason I recommend this south trip mainly for slightly experienced divers is the current. It can be strong at times. Less experienced divers might not enjoy that as much, but that really comes down to personal preference. If you like exciting dives and healthy reefs, this trip delivers.

I didnt want it to end!
My first liveaboard and i couldn't have picked a better boat and trip. The staff were all so lovely and helpful, the way the whole trip was organised so efficiently, from the hotel collection/drop-offs, to the organisation of the boat and the way each day ran. The food was next level there was no chance of going hungry! The boat was clean, loads of space for us all. I was in a 4 person cabin, 2 x female 2 x male we were all solo travellers and had a great time sharing. No problems plenty of space. I did my nitrox course on the first day and that was really easy to sort with Steve. Very safe boat too. And of course, the diving. Incredible. Nui, my dive guide was the best at spotting nudibranchs and was super chilled underwater. Nice long sives. Very chilled. I would absolutely book this boat again.

INCREDIBLE first liveaboard experience on the Deep Andaman Queen!
My husband and I had an AMAZING first liveaboard experience aboard the Deep Andaman Queen! While we are very experienced divers, we had never lived onboard a vessel to dive multiple days in a row like this, and it’s safe to say we loved it and it will not be our last liveaboard! The crew aboard the Deep Andaman Queen are exceptional - kind, friendly, extremely helpful, and most importantly very skilled and experienced as dive guides and instructors. They make you feel safe and comfortable without babying you, which we really appreciated. The boat itself is very comfortable (borderline luxurious for what it is), and I highly recommend splurging for the master cabin if you can - it’s huge and super comfortable! The food was plentiful and totally phenomenal, which was great because you find yourself wanting to eat a lot with all that diving. Finally, the diving itself was such a blast. Despite some less than ideal weather conditions, things under the surface remained stunning, and we enjoyed the beautiful seascapes and abundant marine life so much! We can’t wait to be back aboard the Deep Andaman Queen in the future!

Top notch crew & food
Steve & the entire crew were all fantastic! Very helpful & attentive to all our needs, whether it was some personal issue, help getting in or off the boat, getting in or out of our gear, or anything else! Very serving attitudes!! The food was spectacular! Delicious & plentiful! Well run trip! You felt confident that all was going to be taken care of, no matter what it was. And luckily we had a great group of people who all were respectful & got along well! Overall, an excellent trip!! Would gladly do it again!

My Spectacular Trip on DAQ
The Chef put on a theme meal every night that catered for the guests cultures and amazed us every time (Thai Night, Japanese Night, American night, BBQ night, etc) The crew were very experienced and excited to show us the sites. The briefings were detailed and fun and gave a wealth of history to the locations. The facility’s were clean, spacious and comfortable. The Dive sites were tremendous!!!!! I can confidently speak for all the guests on this trip by saying that the chef and the boat crew were amazing and made every day a unique experience!! Special mention to Nui, Steve & the chef. Thank you Marshall

Crew, dive staff and food!
Similan is still a great place for diving. The liveaboards aren’t as luxurious as you find in other parts of the world, but they are good enough. This boat is quite comfortable. The diveguides did a great job. The focus on safety is high and my guide, Stefan was very experienced and knowledgeable. Although you have to be very lucky to spot any big pelagic animals, the diving and the reefs are beautiful with a lot of life. Food on board is amazing and the crew are taking well care of you before and after each dive.

Exceeded all expectations!
While I am a pretty seasoned traveler, this was my first real liveaboard I wasn´t really sure what to expect. This trip exceeded my expectations was truly one of the best I´ve had in quite a while! I completed my AOW certification onboard, as well as my nitrox certification. I ended up being the only person completing the AOW cert onboard, but Steve was a fantastic instructor. He made my experience really memorable and I felt super safe and taken care of on board. He really tailored the course to me and my abilities, and we ended up getting to do some really fantastic diving that I don't think I would have been able to experience otherwise. Despite some low visibility and strong current conditions, every dive was still really enjoyable because of the lovely divemasters and crew. Nui, Will, Ice, and Ekk were fantastic and so knowledgeable, and Max made a great dive buddy and barista. I was really impressed by the efficiency and organization. Everything you could think of they had, electrolytes, seasickness pills, and plenty of snacks/meals. The cabins were also more spacious than I was expecting, I was in the quad cabin and there were additional cubby spaces to store personal belongings. While the food was delicious, as a pescatarian I struggled a tiny bit with the food options as many were meat based, but I always had something at every meal. Overall, a very memorable trip that I would love to do again in the future.

Awesome dive experience!
I really enjoyed this live aboard - I had heard some horror stories about liveaboards in Thailand, specifically regarding safety protocol, but this operation was nothing like that. The dive guides were very safety-conscious, and very knowledgeable about the sites and the wildlife. The food was really good as well. Also, I really liked the layout of the boat. It just made a lot of sense. The dive area wasn't overcrowded, there was plenty of space to dry out gear in between dives, and the rooms were externally accessible, which I like a lot. The crew were really fantastic - super friendly, they remembered everyone's names from the beginning (very impressive), and they all seemed to get along well with each other and the guests. Overall I loved this live aboard and would happily go again.
