Great trip, absolutely recommended!
Seeing a seahorse! (and whale sharks and mantas besides lots of beautiful small creatures).

Laid back holidays with flexible organisation, friendly staff and knowledgeable crew, and a lot of mantas
Relaxing six days on Bavaria, although we packed in four dives a day, including sunset or night dives. I appreciated the passion of the dive guides for their trade, the simple but good Thai food (plus Wiener Schnitzel), the helpful staff, the optional outdoors sleep overnight. I loved the smaller dive sites around the Similan Islands for their tranquility and occasional big finds, but of course it is difficult to override Cousteau's Richelieu Rock, and Koh Bon.

Goods and bads
The trip had both good and bad. The boat was overall really good with room for all guest to laze about between dives and a shaded sun deck. The cabins were very small though, and there was absolutely no room to put personal belongings. Definitely pick ensuite as the two communal bathrooms are shared by four guests and all staff. The diving in the Similans was really disappointing, but the islands to the north made up for that plentiful.

Helpfulness of crew - boat boys, cooks and divemasters. Meating other expetienced divers - almost all with 100+ dives.

Amazing experience for our first live aboard trip!
We really enjoyed our first live aboard trip! The boat The Bavaria is perfect for diving and relaxing :) The tour was very well organized and we felt safe every minut. The boat is big with more relaxing areas which are perfect between dives. We were served delicious food and had water, soft drinks, electrolyte water easily and free available which helped us fast recovering after dives so we could perform all 10 dives in 3 days. Unfurtunately we had cold sea water with bad visibility which was unusual for the period, but everything else perfect!

This was our first Liveaboard and we loved it. I was concerned that I would feel cramped and didn’t feel Like this in the least bit! The dives were very well organized and we weren’t on top Of each other.

Fun trip with friendly crew and divers but bad visibility...
Very impressed with the cleanliness of the boat and organization of the diving trips. Communication between staff were great and tripe were operated smoothly. Really enjoyed meeting diverse group of people with interesting backgrounds and experiences. Diving was not as good as expected especially the visibility and did not see much marine life as I though I would but the dive master, Freshy ensured our safety and looked after our group well. Plus was awesome waking up to freshly baked bread in the morning! Thank you everyone for making this trip satisfactory.

Great week!
The boat was well maintained but the cabins left a bit to be desired. The beds were like rocks and we got towels for blankets. The dive crew were great and the Thai crew were fun but you could tell there was some conflict between them in regards to diver safety which should be addressed immediately. The trip director Gerben addressed any issues that came up and was great to deal with. The food was abundant and amazing!! The diving was good although not as good as I was expecting. The visibility and landscape were incredible but there was a pretty evident lack of marine life that I assume is because of overfishing which was a bit sad. Coral bleaching has also done a number on the reefs. We did see a whale shark which was pretty special!
