The MV Deep Andaman Queen liveaboard underwent a complete rebuild in 2019 to offer luxury dive trips in Thailand. The 30m yacht caters for up to 25 divers in 11 cabins. There are 2 Master Cabins and 5 Deluxe cabins located on the main deck, and the twin, triple, or quad cabins are located on the lower deck, offering something to suit every budget. All cabins are equipped with individually controlled AC units, a private en-suite bathroom, charging ports, fresh towels, and ample storage space. Social areas include a modern indoor air-conditioned salon with sofas and camera editing station and an outdoor dining area where delicious Thai and Western dishes will be served buffet-style. There is also an enormous sun deck with a covered outdoor lounge, ideal for relaxing in-between dives.
M/V Deep Andaman Queen Liveaboard takes great pride in the huge dive platform located at the back of the boat which boasts a wide and spacious kitting up area on two levels, a separate entry/exit platform, 2 exit ladders with 2 freshwater showers to rinse yourself or your equipment after diving and also 2 large buckets with fresh water for rinsing cameras and personal dive equipment. My Spectacular Trip on DAQ
The Chef put on a theme meal every night that catered for the guests cultures and amazed us every time (Thai Night, Japanese Night, American night, BBQ night, etc) The crew were very experienced and excited to show us the sites. The briefings were detailed and fun and gave a wealth of history to the locations. The facility’s were clean, spacious and comfortable. The Dive sites were tremendous!!!!! I can confidently speak for all the guests on this trip by saying that the chef and the boat crew were amazing and made every day a unique experience!! Special mention to Nui, Steve & the chef. Exceeded all expectations!
While I am a pretty seasoned traveler, this was my first real liveaboard I wasn´t really sure what to expect. This trip exceeded my expectations was truly one of the best I´ve had in quite a while! I completed my AOW certification onboard, as well as my nitrox certification. I ended up being the only person completing the AOW cert onboard, but Steve was a fantastic instructor. He made my experience really memorable and I felt super safe and taken care of on board. He really tailored the course to me and my abilities, and we ended up getting to do some really fantastic diving that I don't think I would have been able to experience otherwise. Despite some low visibility and strong current conditions, every dive was still really enjoyable because of the lovely divemasters and crew. Nui, Will, Ice, and Ekk were fantastic and so knowledgeable, and Max made a great dive buddy and barista. I was really impressed by the efficiency and organization. Everything you could think of they had, electrolytes, seasickness pills, and plenty of snacks/meals. The cabins were also more spacious than I was expecting, I was in the quad cabin and there were additional cubby spaces to store personal belongings. While the food was delicious, as a pescatarian I struggled a tiny bit with the food options as many were meat based, but I always had something at every meal. Overall, a very memorable trip that I would love to do again in the future.

Perfect first liveaboard experience
The diving guide is very professional, the diving itinerary is very well arranged, and it is very rare to see the guitar shark, which is the biggest highlight of this trip!

If you are an experienced diver, absolutely do NOT hesitate to book the south trip with Deep Andaman Queen. Seriously. This trip is fantastic. From the very first email everything just clicks. Communication beforehand is spot on, the hotel pickup is right on time with a super friendly driver, the welcome at the pier feels warm and relaxed, and the boat briefing is clear, structured, and actually enjoyable to listen to. Once on board, it only gets better. The rooms are spacious, the bathrooms are too which is always a win on a liveaboard, Max the barista serves genuinely great coffee, breakfast is well prepared, and the dive briefings are clear, professional, and packed with useful tips. The diving equipment is in good condition, the reefs in the south are in excellent shape, and the crew is incredibly helpful. They will do everything possible to get you into the water and safely back on board with a big smile. And yes, there is a lot of food. And yes, it is delicious. Very delicious. Did I mention there is a lot of it 😉 The only reason I recommend this south trip mainly for slightly experienced divers is the current. It can be strong at times. Less experienced divers might not enjoy that as much, but that really comes down to personal preference. If you like exciting dives and healthy reefs, this trip delivers.

Well organized beautiful boat
We did the south tour to Koh Lipe and had a fantastic guide Alena, who was always super sweet and in a good mood and a fantastic spotter. Despite the poor visibility in the sea, we saw so many beautiful animals and corals and the boat overturned the whole original plan to go to dive sites with the best possible visibility, which was really great. The cabins and shower are clean and relatively spacious, the food is fantastic. The only unusual thing was that you had to change all the time, because you were not allowed to get up from the dive deck in a bikini or swimming trunks because of the seat cushions, not even with a poncho or dried, which means changing clothes 8 times a day. But that's not a bad thing, the schedule allows it to be quite relaxed.

Diving holiday on the Deep Andaman Queen Thailand.
This is my second trip on the Deep Andaman Queen. The experience on both trips makes me want to come back for a third trip. The reef is in fantastic condition with hard and soft corals in abundance along with a prolific variety of fish and crustations. Dive Master Steve has many years of experience in the region and briefs the dive group on what to look for on each dive. A well run and organised liveabord experience.

You could not go hungry on this boat.. Attention to detail with briefings and the supply of hydrolytes to keep you hydrated in the tropical conditions..
