Outstanding Diving Trip Best of Solomon Islands - Central & Western Provinces, Solomon islands in May

Mossy and Lacey the tour guides/diving instructors were awesome and clearly love their job! They were very knowledgable and great fun. Captain Dan was great as well, very funny guy. The crew were great too, great food and plenty of it! I loved the amount of diving we did - 38 dives over 9 days, 4 - 5 dives a day and a great variety of places as well. All round fantastic trip, would highly recommend to any diver, new like myself or experienced divers.

My first, but certainly not the last trip on Taka. Best of Solomon Islands - Central & Western Provinces, Solomon islands in May

The divesites are remote and pristine, coral and underwater scenery are stunning as well as diverse ranging from macro to wrecks and pelagics. The crew is extremely helpful for photo- and videography with expert advice from Dan the skipper who is an experienced underwater photographer himself. Apart from members of our group, we have not met a single diver during our cruise spanning half the Solomons. Safety is paramount on the boat expertly handled by Mossy double checking divers with variable experience. My impressions were remarkably good especially considering that Taka was moved to Solomon waters relatively recently. Highly recommended.

Excellent Dive Experience ... Taste of Solomon Islands - Central Province, Solomon islands in August

This is a really well run boat. Safety & customer service seems to be their priority and the Crew, whether boat, diving or kitchen/host were all fantastic and could not have been more helpful or lovely (a call out here for Zonnie,). The boat is immaculately clean and serviced very well. Dan the Captain and Mossy, the Dive programme manager, were standout professionals and just really nice blokes, they kept us all entertained. However, the whole dive crew were great & guided us round the varied dive sites.

Diving diversity with a little cruising thrown in Best of Solomon Islands - Central & Western Provinces, Solomon islands in September

The highlights of the 10 day Central and Western trip were too many to list. Feeling the eruptions of the underwater volcano, Kavachi, Mirror Pond, the Leru cut. From muck diving to bommies, walls to wrecks. Big critters and little critters. Live drops, tender drops, platform dives, day and night dives. Something for everyone. A fantastic experience. I will be back.

This was the best trip of my life! Taste of Solomon Islands - Central Province, Solomon islands in May

Incredibly well set up and organised, fantastic dive sites and guides knew the sites well, stunning area of the world to dive in, couldn't have asked for better. Another highlight was being asked to name an exploratory dive site that hadn't been visited much before. Trip of a lifetime.

No frills diving Best of Solomon Islands - Central & Western Provinces, Solomon islands in December

Relaxing in the hammocks under the stars on the top deck, enjoying the light streaming down through Leru Cut, learning all about photography and new diving techniques from Adam (trip director), dancing like lunatics with my new diving buddies on New Year's Eve!
