The SV Sea Pearl is a 36meters/118ft long twin masted schooner offering liveaboard cruises and dive excursions in Seychelles. She has 8 air-conditioned cabins with air-conditioning and a washbasin. The Sea Pearl comfortably accommodates up to 20 guests in 6 double-bed plus 1 bunk bed, and 2 double cabins with 2 bunk beds. There are 4 showers on board, and 1 shower on deck, to rinse off the seawater. The air-conditioned dining salon is equipped with a TV, DVD player, and entertainment system. There is even a washer/dryer for guest use. The SV Sea Pearl has an upper sun deck and bow net for relaxing in the sun. There is also a covered back deck lounge which offers guests a chance to sit back and relax in the shade. Superb cruise with this diving option
We had booked on Sea Pearl and finally boarded the Sea Bird... great experience... The shore visits, the dives, the top organization, the friendly and attentive atmosphere, the great meals... In summary, a superb cruise that we would like to do in other places in the world. Classic cruise with tours and an optional diving package....

A great way to get to know the Seychelles above and below the water.
It was a very complete experience, with navigation between the islands, visits and excursions through the different islands, plants, birds and land turtles, with trekking routes, bicycles, dream beaches, barbecues on the beach, warm waters, ideal temperature for the month of January. The dive was very simple, shallow, lots of coral, turtles, some sharks and many other fish, much better than expected, although the visibility was not very good, about 10-15 meters.

Great experience
The Sea Pearl is a beautiful ship on which we felt very comfortable. We had many beautiful experiences on the islands and did great dives. Absolute highlight: Diving with a whale shark - breathtaking. The program was relatively tight overall, but we definitely experienced something. A huge compliment also to the super nice crew!

Hotel, dive center, restaurant and tour operator in one!
We really loved the diving at St. Pierre, the tour at Vallee the Mai, and spending a day on La Digue. Overall, this was a wonderful week, that we would recommend to everyone.

Superb Diving on the Sea Pearl
First of all the Seychelles themselves are amazing, clean waters and a healthy marine habitat. We were able to see 1-2 octopus during each dive and on one occasion saw 4. Very different from Carribbean diving. Also seeing the different islands along the way was a good way to experience the Seychelles.

Great week with plenty to do for divers and non divers alike.
They had changed the boat to the Sea Bird when we arrived. It was bigger than the Sea Pearl so we were happy. The food was great and as a non diver myself, the trips onto the Islands were great, especially the trip to Aride to see all the nesting birds. The only thing I would say is that being at the front of the boat our cabin had very little floor space, but we had taken minimal soft bags, so that was fine. The bathroom was a bit tired, but the shower was good with hot water. My husband did 8 dives and saw plenty of fish, but the visibility wasn’t great. The kit and staff were good. We were lucky enough to see 2 whalesharks from the boat as we were moving between islands which was a bonus!
