Highlights
The Sea Bird and Sea Star are sister ships offering fantastic dive and adventure cruises in Seychelles. Set sail on an adventure through the stunning Seychelles archipelago in the Indian Ocean aboard one of these beautiful traditional sailing vessels. The boats depart from Mahe for 7-night cruises around Praslin, La Digue, and the Sisters. Excellent snorkeling and diving opportunities await, as well as the chance to explore nature trails for bird-watching and local island visits to see mangroves, giant tortoises & historic ruins.
Both the Sea Bird and Sea Star liveaboard are custom-built sailing yachts with traditional hand-crafted furnishings. Cabins are air-conditioned with en-suite bathrooms, storage space, and double or triple arrangements. The air-conditioned Bar/Dining and Salon areas have a TV, DVD Player, stereo system, and a washer & dryer. There are also multiple sun decks for relaxation and a covered back deck lounge and seating area.
The 9 experienced and professional S/Y Sea Bird and Sea Star crew will take care of you by guiding you around the beautiful underwater world of the Inner Islands of the Seychelles, where you can hope to find a rich population of marine life, including tropical reef fish, sharks, barracuda, jacks, tuna, and even whale sharks, to cooking up delicious Creole and international dishes freshly prepared on board.

Amazing trip and the best way to get around the Seychelles.
Snorkeling everyday. Bicycling around La Digue and spending the day there. Curieuse Island. All the great people we met.

- The crew was very friendly and experienced. The food was outstanding and there was tonnes of food at each freshly cooked meal. Being able to easily hop to the different islands and not worrying about getting to each place as everything was included.

I would do it again...
I enjoyed the snorkeling, so many fish and warm waters of course. I also enjoyed the island excursions, every island was (of course) different.

A fantastic week with easy diving in calm waters, fabulous island trekking, amazing food and a great smiling crew!
For a mixed vacation of easy diving and island trekking, this is perfect. The boat crew is so nice, and so helpful. Food on the boat was amazing. The islands of the Seychelles are a treat for visiting giant tortoises and various birds and native plants. The island treks and tours given by local guides were fascinating. The beaches are gorgeous. For serious divers, you may not find the Seychelles to be the best diving in the world, so research diving the Seychelles if you are going just for the diving.

Good mix between island visits, diving and sailing
Turtles La Curieuse, visit to Cousin Island (with way too many mosquitoes), La Digue by bike, diving, sunset sailing, always fine food, good captain and crew.

This is the best way to get to know Seychelles because you can enjoy the diving and the main attractions on the different islands. The food and crew on the boat are great! I highly recommend it!

Unforgettable explanation

Outstanding Dive Master (Alfonso) really made this trip exceptional!
The diving was great, but I suggest that the visibility would be a lot better during the Dec - April timeframe.

Extraordinary!
Tuesday was our best day.1st shore excursion to Cousin Island to observe these magnificent birds and the large land turtles;One of my best dives at Booby Island where we had the chance to swim among a multitude of whitetip sharks, manta rays, stingrays, eagle rays, turtles, moray eels, batfish and other schools of multicolored fish;Back on board where the crew prepared a delicious BBQ for us while we watched our first and splendid sunset.The crew listened and was always ready to please us, reference to the flambéed bananas :-)The BBQ organized on the beach at Curieuse Island.A visit to La Digue by bike to discover its magnificent beaches.The wise advice and humor of our super Captain for land excursions.The dives very well supervised with excellent briefings by our great dive guides.In short, a wonderful week in paradise as I imagined it, what esle ;-)Once again, a big thank you to the whole crew and we look forward to seeing you again xxxKris Bee
