Launched in 2011, the Aqua Tiki 2 catamaran offers intimate dive safaris in French Polynesia. Explore the beautiful Fakarava and Taumotu Atolls to see sharks, manta rays, dolphins, tuna, and barracuda, all with outstanding visibility year-round. Topside the modern Aqua Tiki II liveaboard caters to just 8 guests in 4 en-suite cabins. There is one twin cabin, 2 doubles, plus one double VIP cabin with a TV, DVD & music player. excellent food, friendly staff and diving in pristine areas
i had an amazing time on Aqua Tikki 2. Octavie our cook made delicious food all the time and not repetitive. Jeremi our Divemaster found the best scuba diving spots. we saw the famous "shark wall", many Mantas and very abundent marine life in general. Greg, our Captain and RIB driver sailed us safely all over the tuamotu. also land trips were done which made for me a difference than a only diving liveaboard. 2 dives a day, but more then enough to feel the thrill. i would highly recommend AQUA tiki 2 and the crew. many thanks again

An absolutely awesome experience!
This was an unforgettable trip, and this was at the very top of the line thanks to the excellent team at Aqua Tiki II, who spared no effort to make us feel comfortable, make our stay as easy as possible and make this trip an absolutely great experience. The welcome and service on board was excellent, the dives prepared and carried out with great professionalism and in a very pleasant atmosphere, and the navigation and the stay easy thanks to an absolute mastery of the sea and navigation conditions. This is not my first liveaboard, but by far the best I have done so far, and I can only warmly recommend this boat and this team!

Superb!
It was fantastic! Fakarava is beautiful and secluded. No other boats anywhere on outer atolls. Humidity was low in June, temperature was pleasant, water was flat, just amazing!

Excellent trip
My wife and I took the Aqua tiki for our honeymoon. Diving: As above challenging exciting diving, x2 per day with steel tanks so duration was ~1 hour each. We saw so many sharks reefs, black tips, nurses and lemons, mantas, rays. A real "big stuff" location rather than macro. Most dives were drift dives. Confident dive team, one guide, one additional staff member diving and the skipper up top in the boat. Water temp 28C in May. Vis ~30m each day. Location: like a postcard, visited x4 atolls, this boat actually sails between atolls, not motoring everywhere Food: really good. French/Polynesian. Crew: exceptional, great English, really made an effort.

The best way to explore the dive sites in French Polynesia
Perfect visibility, enjoyable drift dives, different sizes of tank to accommodate diver’s need, well managed one hour dive, optional nitrox available for decompression stop to ensure safety and comfort. Personally, cataraman is my favorite as it avoids the smell from gasoline. Many free time available for snorkeling around and there’re lots to see. Additional credit given to the beautiful Milky Way at night!

Remarkable trip/dive safari.
They know the currents and are very experienced. I have a large camera setup so they advised me of the current situation prior to each dive. One area near unesco site had thousands of fish and was the most remarkable site. We saw plenty of mantas in relatively clear water for nice photographs. Chef was very good lots of tuna sashimi and tartare, yoghurt, fresh fruits, fresh bread, eggs for breakfast. Diving from the zodiac was easy.

The diving was remote and remarkably beautiful. There’s some good currents so this is for an experienced diver. Lots of beautiful fish. Several species of butterfly fish seen everywhere in large groups. Many many sharks as. Small group. 4 guests and 3 crew.

Great trip with technical dives
I’ve had a great time on this liveaboard. The dives, although quite technical, were fantastic but I also really enjoyed the extra activities we got to do between the dives. The crew were great. Tika, our hostess, was great with meals(even special last minute requests) and fun chats in between. Greg, the captain, done everything humanly possible to ensure we’ve had a good time. Nothing was too much. The highlight of the trip for me was Marie, our dive instructor. She is one of the very best (if not THE best) dive guides I’ve had a privilege to dive with, sharing her immense technical knowledge with us during dive briefings. I’ve left the trip with new diving skills and improved confidence.

Excellent diving with a great crew!
Overall fantastic wild diving in Polynesia. Dive sites were in great condition with lots of pelagic action. Crew were excellent and it was very enjoyable! Downsides must be stated though: - only 2 dives a day is a bit of a shame - no AC in the cabins meant it was uncomfortable sleeping for the trip

Trip of a lifetime
Everything we hoped for and more. This is a great expedition with some exceptional diving. Lots and lots of sharks, napoleon wrasse, big schools of barracuda and Jack fish. The underwater topography adds to the experience with a mix of drift dives in the passes and reefs. The crew were excellent and the boat is very comfortable. Sailing between atolls in 25kts of wind was a real treat.

Great week with new friends
My husband and I spent a week in Oct/Nov 2025 aboard the Aqua Tiki II. The crew; Captain Greg, 1st Mate and DM Marie Charlotte, Hostess Poi, went above and beyond to make the trip enjoyable and safe. The food was wonderful and Poi is so kind. MC is one of the best DMs I've been diving with; she knew the dive sites amazingly well and made sure we were safe while having a good time. This diving is NOT for beginners. We dove on the full moon and the currents were ripping! Captain Greg was excited to be sailing the boat and was more than accommodating with anything we needed.

A lot of fun on a nice boat.
Visiting the villages close to where we were moored was fun. Diving was good and visibility was generally very good - not particularly memorable diving compared to other destinations. The ship prepared meals were excellent and hostess was very friendly. Having whales and dolphins swimming around the pass we were moored in was cool. Captain was friendly and accommodating. Excellent trip, even for my non-diving wife. We will book another trip with the Aqua Tiki company in the future.

Shark Capital of The World
Diving the passes of Fakarava with the walls of sharks is an experience out of this world. In addition, meeting a great hammer head on the last dive, made the diving our beat experience ever.

Aquatiki 2 - Rekomended for diving and nice time on the best beaches near Fakarava, with turquoise water, white sand, palms and happiness of life.
We have 6 diving on Fakarava and Tuamotu. For me was most beautiful places to dive. I saw a lot of sharks on each dive, a lot of fish, mantas, snails, parotfishes, napoleons so big, not one, a couple, three together, it was really nice. Corals are hard, smaller soft corals. But it is not for beginners divers, because there's are carents and a lot of shark's, if you are afraid. But staff were excellent and each dive was safe and very good well prepare. They take a lot about equipment an were very carefully about safe on the bout, on the water when we go jumping and after when we are finishes diving to very fast catches us from carent. Amaizing, really.

Places to dive. Very safe diving with sharks, mantas and a lot of animals ander water. Excellent staff. Activities extra in the beautiful places.. Food - every say was something new with desert.. We know plan's before next day with hours. It was very helpful to be very well organised. We have got a lot of fun after diving..

Relaxing diving in a shark heaven
Definitely one of the best places to see tons of sharks without feeding in blue water with visibility up to 50 m! The crew was professional and friendly, the food was excellent, we were all treated as one big family. Definitely recommended!

Good and hearty meal prepared by Manou, exceptional evening of the last day organized by Manou, conviviality and availability at all times of the crew.
Recommended for
Abundant wildlife on the sites visited but at the exorbitant price of dives, I would have preferred to visit 12 different sites rather than 6 sites visited twice.

Great trip on a beautiful boat with friendly and capable crew in spectacular French Polynesia.
Unforgettable experience on a wonderful boat, with superb staff and in spectacular French Polynesia. Could not have wished for a better experience. Drift diving in heavy current is challenging, but very competent guides made it much more comfortable. Lots of sharks! We loved it all!
