Unforgettable experience
My experience on Navis 1 was unforgettable! The dives offer great variety, from wrecks, to dugongs and Apo Reef which is one of the most beautiful and richest reefs in the Philippines and really deserves a lot! Rich in animals and corals of all kinds. The dive guides were trained and the pre-dive briefings were always perfectly prepared. The crew was always friendly and helpful and the food was really delicious and always different at every meal. The ship is cozy, clean and the rooms are minimal but have all the essentials, including air conditioning and hot shower. Really a great experience!

Wow!
My wife and I did the 8 day trip. I would recommend it to anyone serious about seeing as much of Philippines diving in one journey as possible. It's pretty intensive, but also very satisfying and exiting. The bed was comfortable, and the cabins have private bathrooms that could use a little TLC, but they are clean. The boat being multihull is quite spacious in the shared areas and functions well for it's new purpose. It just needs a little spiffing up as it is relatively new to this role. Pricing is very reasonable. It did meet all of our expectations. The staff are wonderful, I could name a couple that stand out but I don't want to take away from the whole excellent team. The food is excellent and the chef takes great care to keep everyone well fed. Thank you all for a great trip!

First Liveaboard experience was the best we could have hoped for
Able to enjoy 18 of the 20 dives which at 73 did not exhaust us out like usual from shore based. Crew and particularly Chef surprised us with delicious food and we did not lose weight which usually happens in the Philippines as I am vegetarian. Dive guides and especially the Dive instructor was especially helpful in advanced instruction for me and helping my wife be much more comfortable with her descent and buoyancy issues that we are certain to want to return with this vessel!

Superb diving, boat, food and most importantly, crew!
Amazing trip - relatively new boat, hence the lack of reviews, but we completed 4 full days of diving (12 dives total) in the stunning Apo Reef. Perfect number of dives (incl 2x night dives and we did our Advanced Open Water course whilst diving), dive groups were v small (3 guests per dive master). Crew are amazing & the food is excellent. Great value for money too! They also have 2 professional singers (Jessie & Jas) and a rooftop Kareoke set-up for the evening - fully recommend.

A liveaboard with happy memories
First of all, the staff were all very nice. He always took great care to make me feel comfortable, and he always helped me kindly with a smile, so I think my liveaboard life was fine. The diving at Apoleaf was also good, and at first it was a pity that there was a lot of air left because I adjusted the air consumption of the people in the same group, but when I talked to the master of this part, he immediately adjusted the group, so it was good to always dive for more than 60 minutes after that. I couldn't say that the overall condition of the boat was good, but the hot water came out well when I took a shower, the air conditioner came out well (although it was noisy), and I was satisfied with the quality of the meal so much that I didn't eat any of the cup noodles even though I brought them. And I was surprised that the wifi was faster than I expected. It was my first liveaboard and I made a lot of good memories.

Awesome time
I had an awesome time with Manta. The crew is awesome. The food is awesome. The diving was awesome. This liveaboard is set up with some fun additional activities like karaoke, live music during dinners, getting a custom meal for me as a vegetarian, etc that really make it stand out from other liveaboards that I have done. I met a lot of great people on this trip as well. I highly recommend it. So many great memories.

Exceptional Hospitality, Experience, and Value
I have been on many Liveaboards (>20). This is by far at the top of the tree of any of those! You will eat delicious food and experience some of the best diving the Philippines has to offer. You will feel the hospitality from the moment you are greeted, with a sense of community on board and camaraderie. Smiles and friendship flow readily and easily from everyone involved. Apo Reef was on fire! Play the "Marine Life Bingo" and tick off the 25 "big list" items shown in photographs in rows on the boat's wall - we found 21! First to get 5 in a row gets free drinks for the night! Learn a little bit more via excellent presentations about fish and creatures that you may not possibly have known! Brief and informative, I loved these pre dive presentations (thanks Sean!). On board there's as much fun as you can imagine. Totally down to earth Owner (Travis) and Crew. Big shout out to our knowledgeable guides "J.J." and the impressive and humble Instructor, Sean. Their knowledge, dive briefings, and outstanding care and safety underwater, (not to mention brilliant spotting for wildlife!) will have you captivated and anticipating every dive. Relax topside after an amazing day's diving on the expansive top deck with uninterrupted views of Palawan. Breathtakingly beautiful, watch the sun go down over the verdant and rugged hills with a nice cold drink whilst feasting on (yet another) hearty and delicious Dinner. If you are lucky, you may even get a song or two from one of the sweetest voices a very talented crew person - but that's up to her! That Lady can really sing! Big schools of Barracuda. Sharks. Turtles. Giant Trevally. Mantas. Sea Snakes. Octopus. Tuna. Jacks. Big Stuff. Small Stuff. Irresistible critters and Night dives. Amazing kaleidoscope of corals bursting with health and vitality. Day dives, morning dives, and Night dives! And WWII Wrecks!!! Where else can you experience all this but in the amazing Philippines? And this Liveaboard will take you there. A super great team on board! Very familiar and helpful. The dive sites were also very nice! Unfortunately, the Apo Reef disappointed me a bit, because there was not so much to see on the steep walls and unfortunately no big fish, but otherwise it was a great trip!

Great dives, some great snorkel spots, food, staff, entertainment, visit to the island and gifting to the kids, good chance to have active time and chill out time, equipment all great, routines were perfectly organised. Our room was well set up with good storage space under the bed and a good bathroom, we would suggest more hooks in the room and more pegs on the sundeck as many people have a lot of stuff to dry all day. Also there is room for improvement in comfortability on the deck area, it requires deck chairs and a lounging area. The wifi was excellent in most parts of the boat. More rum in the bar needed! Thank you captain, boat and dive crew led by the experts JJ and Mimi.

Amazing experience!
The crew makes this experience incredible. They are all so nice and go out of their way to make sure you are happy. Food was incredible, I think I am spoiled for the rest of my life now. Diving on this trip was epic! I was in a shared room which was ok - if you only care about the room this boat is not for you. Overall great trip for a low price. Good bang for the buck (or Euro).
Understand that we made two back to back trips: El Nido to Coron, and then Coron back to Coron. The cabin my buddy and I shared was small, but relatively comfortable. The room air conditioner efficiently cooled the room. Each bed had a lightweight blanket providing adequate warmth over a fitted sheet. A change of sheet, blanket and towels were available for the asking. There was plenty of space to store personal items and clothing. Small luggage was kept in the room. Larger bags can be kept in the spacious camera room. The crew on the Navis 1 were very hardworking and attentive to the guests. The crew did many things that typically are not found on a trip such as this. For example, our wetsuits were hung for us after each dive and washed at the end of each day. One of the guides was always there to help an 87 year old diver remove his wetsuit. When minor room maintenance was needed, that maintenance was quickly performed, even if it was suddenly needed in the middle of the night.. Midway through the first trip, one of the two owners of the boat came on board with his two three-year old twins and their Filipino nanny. Those kids were entertaining to watch and interact with. While on the boat, the owner was ready to hear suggestions on how to make his boat a better five boat and provide a better diving experience. The food was quite good, although it was a bit heavier on spice at times. The variety at each meal was impressive, commonly with pork, chicken, and fish in the same meal. Rice was at every meal. Pasta was common. Soups were great. I asked the cook to write down one recipe to share with my wife. Vegetarian meals were prepared separately for several divers. No one walked away from a meal hungry. One lunches was at picnic tables on an island which had an impressive cavern with a pool of water inside to cool off in and aa nearby pen with a dozen or so monitor lizards were waiting for visitors. There were two evenings on each trip where most divers stayed up late on the sun deck. The steward, Daphne, sang for us one night and played her saxophone on another. On both nights, a karaoke system was set up for those of us brave enough to sing to the other divers and the crew. I would have preferred more time on Apo Reef and less on non-combat Japanese ships sunk by Americans during World War II, but I understand that there are Navis 1 itineraries that offer most or all of the time on App Reef.

Amazing reefs!
From start to finish everything was on time and on point. Delicious food, amazing and super friendly and helpfull cabin crew, dive sites were very different so you could have a bit of everything. From corals to shipwrecks to great app reef, to big wildlife. A nice mix of everything was just perfect and never boring.
