Highlights
The M/V Palau Aggressor II is a 32m long liveaboard with 9 staterooms carrying 18 passengers who can explore WWII wrecks, blue holes, and bottomless walls in Micronesia. Scuba diving with the Palau Aggressor II offers up to 5 daily dives, including night dives. All staterooms have a private bathroom, shower, storage, and individual climate control. Meals and snacks are available throughout the day and served in dining or outdoor lounging areas. They also include American options and local cuisine. Complimentary soft drinks, iced tea, beer, and wine can be enjoyed at the many lounging spots all over the boat. Guests can relax in the air-conditioned lounge and enjoy the sun deck with loungers or hammocks, deck chairs, active bar service, and a music player. On the dive deck, there is a dedicated camera table for large camera rigs, and the deck is also very spacious to store all the diving and safety equipment.
When traveling aboard the M/V Palau Aggressor II, the diving is done from a skiff with its captain and experienced dive leaders. The dive site itinerary includes Blue Corner, Blue Holes, Chandelier Caves, Denges Passage, German Channel, and Ngedebus Coral Gardens. The divers can find grey reef sharks, white-tip reef sharks, manta rays, cuttlefish, Mandarin fish, Napolean Wrasses, swarms of Jellyfish, and WWII wrecks under the water. During February and March, the guests can find large schools of Moorish Idols, Unicorn Fish, and several species of Butterfly Fish. The boat crew encounters massive bait balls of scad all year round in and around Ulong and German Channel and on the reefs of Blue Corner and Siaes Corner.

The Palau Aggressor crew sets the standard — the team was exceptional.
I had such an incredible time aboard the Palau Aggressor — the kind of trip that reminds you why you fell in love with diving in the first place. The crew treated me like a friend from day one, and a lot of that started at the very top. Jim, the captain, was unlike any I’ve encountered — rather than running things from a distance, he was constantly present among the guests, diving alongside us, sharing his experiences, and genuinely invested in every person on board. What struck me most is that everything ran so seamlessly and effortlessly the entire trip — and I know that doesn’t happen by accident. The smoothness of every day was a direct testament to an enormous amount of work happening quietly in the background, and that kind of invisible excellence is the hardest thing to pull off. That tone clearly starts with Jim and Taffy’s leadership and flows through every single crew member. Jim also has a rare gift for slowing down underwater and showing you the tiny, magical things most divers swim right past, always making sure you’d seen something special before moving on to find the next one. He turned every dive into a genuine adventure — pranks, games, and all — and the fact that he jumped to hike all the way back up a hill to get the mask I forgot so I could make it to Jellyfish Lake is not forgotten. Taffy ran one of the most professional dive operations I’ve seen — his briefing drawings were works of art, he had such a strong / friendly command of the group during briefings, and he had a wonderful habit of gathering everyone after dives to talk through what we saw, even on dives he hadn’t joined himself. Johnny was a constant ray of sunshine, always watching over me after dives, making sure I never lost my buddy, and consistently pointing out anemone fish because he remembered I loved them. Ronnie’s food consistently wowed — the food was exceptional across the board, and the dietary accommodations were so impressive I found myself eyeing the vegetarian and gluten-free options over the regular menu. Ana kept our cabins immaculate, seemingly after every single dive. And June and Jay — so sweet. The crew remembered what drinks I liked and had it ready at lunch and dinner without me ever having to ask twice. Every single person on this boat went above and beyond when it wasn’t necessary with this group of guests. I would absolutely welcome the opp to be back on this boat and will recommend to all of my friends.

Amazing experience aboard the Palau Aggressor II. Taffy was an awesome cruise director and dive guide. Jim was also an amazing dive guide, even as the captain, pointing out all sorts of marine life! Endless sharks and incredible marine life.

Great dives, boat and crew!
Best dive and liveaboard experience to date. Special shout-out to the crew - Jim, Star, Jake, Ronnie, Jay, Jun, Johnny and Ana - for their diligence, attention to details and camaraderie. The hot face towel after each dive was a great touch. Dives were some of the best I’ve done, each different from the other. DMs allowed us to explore flexibly but were also great spotters of their own. I was a solo traveller and am thankful to befriend a GREAT group of very experienced divers! There is no other LOB in Palau you wanna be on. Will be returning to see the full/new moon spawnings.

This was the best I ever had so far! ...and I have done a lot of diving.
The dives sites were not only crawling with critters (mantas, sharks, Napoleons, colorful reef fish, turtles,..) there were also chosen very wisely in terms of diversity (reefs, wrecks, walls, caves, channels, lakes,..). The guides were very experienced and safe to dive with - without missing out on the fun part ;-) The crew in general was extremely professional, friendly, welcoming and mindful of any extra wishes we had (got a cheese platter for my B-day on board). A big thanks to Ronnie (excellent food!!), Jay, Andy, Editha, Ripon, Joe and Jim!! You made our stay very special. The boat itself is very functional. All the equipment tays safely on the Zodiac which gets hydraulically lifted to and from the water. Rooms are on one level, spacious, clean, modern and very well serviced all the time (thanks, Editha!!). On a scale of 1 to 10 (with 10 being the best) I give this a rating of 9.9! (0.1 more the go, folks, but you are already half-way there ;-)

Best trip ever
This was my first week-long liveaboard and it did not disappoint. First of all the diving in Palau is excellent and despite some remnants of the typhoon that had passed earlier, the weather was great for diving most of the week. Secondly, the whole environment on the boat is great. Friendly, helpful and knowledgeable crew. The food was superb. Overall my best diving and liveaboard experience ever. Looking forward to more.

Great service by a great team
Diving in Palau was nice but nothing really exceptional you wouldn't find on a similar level at many other spots in the world - except the Jelly Fish Lake, which is a nice "once in a lifetime". But therefore the service on board the Palau Aggressor II was great. The team is very caring and engaged when it comes to customer service which was a great experience. Thanks again for a great tip!

Outstanding diving, service, and accommodations!
This was the best liveaboard experience I have had to date. Highlights were the staff: Johnny: Amazing meals every day Ana: Hardworking, friendly, and always on top of keeping the rooms clean and tidy. Ike: Experienced and knowledgeable captain and great dive master / critter spotter. IB: Excellent dive guide, nice relaxed pace, great, thorough briefings. Daniel: As cruise director and divemaster, he demonstrated his commitment to making sure we all had a great trip. Very friendly, fun, and professional. Jay-R: Great backup dive guide, always with a warm smile. (Can't speak to his engineering skills, but everything worked with no issues). Jake: Skilled skiff driver, always helpful with a lively smile. Full throttle through the archway in Rock Islands was very impressive! Ronnie: Excellent DM and critter spotter. Always on top of making my sure our cameras were on board the skiff.
