Enjoy spectacular diving in the Baja California Peninsular aboard the MV Valentina Liveaboard Mexico. The MV Valentina Liveaboard visits the abundant dive sites of the Sea Of Cortez from August to November, where divers can hope to see sea lions, huge schools of sardines and hammerhead sharks, and the amazing diving of the Socorro Islands to look for humpback whales, manta rays and whale sharks from November to May.

In 2013 the 38m M/V Valentina Liveaboard underwent a re-fit to ensure the highest standards. The MV Valentina Liveaboard has 10 air-conditioned cabins, each with an en-suite bathroom. The air-conditioned dining room offers excellent cuisine with a variety of Mexican, European, and Asian dishes, and also an open bar with a choice of various soft drinks, cocktails, liquors, and draft beer (some beverages require payment on site).

Phenomenal trip all around!
This was our first liveaboard and it was absolutely incredible. The crew is beyond accommodating, friendly, and knowledgeable!! The food was outstanding; we were not expecting to have such incredible meals and drinks! Our cabin was great, nothing crazy, but did have excellent AC and water pressure! The crew would clean and make beds every morning! Everyone was so good about checking in on us. The dive sites made the trip!! We had mantas swimming over us, playful seals, octopus, schools of hammerheads, beautiful corals, nudibranchs and so much more! We also did a few wrecks and a night dive which we loved! DMs were attentive and fun! They took care of our gear for us after every dive. We also had flight and luggage issues and the Fun Baja team was extremely communicative and accommodating. I would highly recommend to anyone!

One of the best dive sites I’ve ever visited - mantas, dolphins, hammerheads, whale sharks, several other species of sharks… It’s amazing. An incredible dive trip
Diving Socorro Islands aboard Valentina Liveaboard was honestly one of the best dive experiences I’ve ever had. The crew was incredibly professional, attentive, and genuinely passionate about making every dive unforgettable. The diving itself was spectacular: giant mantas interacting up close, dolphins joining the dives, sharks everywhere, and the raw beauty of the Revillagigedo archipelago. Food onboard was also surprisingly great, with plenty of variety after long dive days.

To experience the spectacular you have to go to Revillagigedo islands.
Of the top five dives of my life, the top three were on this trip. I was at one point face to face with a whale shark, so close that I could have kissed it.

A spectacular experience
My absolut highlight was the night dive where we got to watch mobula rays and puffer fish. I have also enjoyed the sea lions, the hammerhead sharks and the schools of sardines. But more than anything the staff made this trip truly memorable.

Awesome Liveaboard Dive Experience
As a long time diver, this was by far one of my best liveaboard experiences. Socorro did not disappoint - we saw hundreds of dolphins, heard humpbacks in the water, played with dolphins in the water, followed schooling hammerheads, had frequent visits by black rays, silkys, Galápagos, white tips, silver tips and even had a tiger shark sighting. The dive guides, Lorenzo, Ciaobelo, and Fernando, were engaged and excited to share their love of Socorro and knowledge of the marine life. The entire boat crew made our time out of the water as enjoyable as our dives. The food was world class. Thanks to Luigi the chef for his hard work and talent. Juan, the bartender, was warm, hospitable, and funny and made a mean mango mezcalita amongst other delicious drinks. The dinghy drivers, Pariente and Pepe, were so attentive and good humored. And Jose, the captain and Daniel, the engineer run a fine ship. I truly felt part of the Valentina family and look forward to returning to Mexico someday soon.

Great way to meet Sea Lions
I had never been diving with Sea Lions before. On a liveaboard we were able to do 4 dives on Las Ilotes and also saw Sea Lions on several other sites in the Sea of Cortez. It really exceeded my expectations.

This ship is run by the same company that runs all the day-trips on the area, so you get all the intimate knowledge from local Divemasters while also getting exclusive access that day-trippers won’t see. The ship is Huge - and I was there when it was fully booked. At every moment I could have been on any deck, in any lounge area, and never felt inhibited.

Great Dive Location for good interaction with Manta Rays and Sharks
The highlights of the trip were seeing the giant Manta Rays and many varieties of sharks. The food and drink options on the boat were also great. We didn't encounter any tiger sharks, dolphins, or humpback whales, but all of those are rare to see on a dive, though possible in the Socorro Islands. We did however see humpback whales from a distance on our boat several times.

A wonderful trip. They must change the ship's electricity generator, it produces an unbearable noise and vibration even with earplugs.

Unforgettable Day’s amazing Dives
It’s our second time on Valentina the Crew is so amazing wonderful . Unbelievable how the take care of you on the boat and also diving. Safety 100% The dive spot of Socorro they’re the best places for my opinion worldwide. Dolphins, Tigersharks, school of Hammerheads, Galapagos and a lot of other sharks circle around you . Then you turn around and Mantas swim right in top of you and don’t forget to look after all the tuna’s , mackerel and differents Schools of fish What was also Great that are maximum 20 divers on Valentia .
