Highlights
The Socorro Aggressor liveaboard offers incredible diving in Pacific Mexico at either Guadalupe or the Socorro Islands. The Socorro Aggressor yacht has plenty of space on board to socialize with other guests or unwind in your own space. The air-conditioned salon and dining room are located on the main deck and are where delicious meals including fresh local dishes such as tortilla soup and tacos are served. There is an outdoor terrace and bar which is perfect for unwinding with a cocktail at the end of the day to discuss the latest big-fish sightings with fellow shipmates. The sun deck at the top of the boat has comfortable loungers and a partially covered area, ideal for lounging or enjoying the sunset. There are 13 staterooms on board with the choice of 2 categories - Deluxe and Master. The Deluxe cabins have twin side-by-side beds and the Master cabin, located on the main deck has a queen bed. All cabins are en-suite with AC, flat-screen TV, bathrobes, hairdryer, and fresh towels.
Itineraries aboard the Socorro Aggressor yacht visit either the Socorro Islands or Guadalupe, depending on the time of the year. At Socorro, divers can expect up-close encounters with giant Pacific manta rays, playful dolphins, humpback whales, and up to 10 species of shark, including whale sharks, at the famous Revillagigedo Islands of Socorro, San Benedicto, and Roca Partida. In August, the Socorro Aggressor relocates to Guadalupe for thrilling cage diving with Great White sharks. The clear waters mean that shark sightings are reliable.

Trip of a lifetime
Seeing great white sharks was a thrill that did not grow stale over the course of the trip. Everyone on board had plenty of time to spend in the cages (2 surface and 1 submerged 30 ft underwater) over the 3 days spent diving at Guadalupe Island. This is truly the great white capital of the world the crew aboard the Socorro Aggressor made this the trip of a lifetime, both from an accommodation standpoint, as well as being knowledgable about what's required to interact with apex predators in a safe manner. This was my first Liveaboard and I was a bit skeptical about the food. However, the meals were great (plus endless snacks after every dive) and the crew was more than accommodating of my shellfish allergy, as well as any other dietary restrictions passengers had.

Amazing experience
This trip overall was one wonderful experience. Divemaster Damian was basically underwater God. His passion, respect and understanding of animals, gave all of us unforgettable underwater experience and interaction with marine creatures. Damian was not just respectful towards marine animals, he also gave us a lot of knowledge and insides of marine animals behaviour and interaction technics that made possible to have an experience that we had. His great personality, friendliness and respect towards guests made us feel like a family. Two thumbs up! Great job!

I absolutely loved this trip!!
Tons of sharks, Playing with the Mantas, Great food and Drink, 8 days without news or TV!! This was my first live aboard dive trip and I absolutely loved it!! The boat was beautiful. The food and drinks were tremendous. Sleeping at sea was amazing. The diving was spectacular. And the sea life was hands down the best I've experienced. I can't see how I can beat this experience. Seriously! I have to say that EVERYONE on the boat worked so very hard for all of us. Always great food and drink available. A great routine to get us in and out of the dive tenders and into the ocean. Warm towels on the deck after peeling off a wetsuit. Hot tea and coffee always available in the dining area. Hot showers on the dive platform. And lots of cool spaces to relax and enjoy yourself between dive and meals or snacks. Rana was my group's dive master and he couldn't have been better. I hope to make this trip again next winter or spring. Thank you to everyone that made the trip great for me!

Excellent opportunity for bucket-list type large animal encounters at interesting island locatinons.
Close encounters with friendly manta rays, schooling hammerheads, multiple shark species at busy cleaning stations, interesting volcanic islands.

Good diving, kinda run down crapy boat.
The crew and diving overall were pretty good. The boat was pretty bad. Crew was very friendly helpful and fun. Only two bad parts for the crew were 1) The food was pretty mediocre. Everything was overcooked and, as is typical in Mexico, bad quality ingredients. 2) The last night on the boat the crew decided to fix something or do some kind of construction that involved power tools and banging on things right outside the main level guest quarters at 10:30pm. And would stop until we called and complained to the captain. The diving was pretty great. If you want to see big things(sharks, manta, dolphins) this is the place. The accommodations on the boat were pretty bad. Nothing close to what I have come to expect from other Aggressor boats. The intro slides said the boat was remodeled in 2017. This is either a stretch of the word remodeled or just outright false. Other Aggressors would rate as approx a 4 star hotel. This one would rate somewhere between a 2-3 star hotel. It looked like it was last updated in the 80s or 90s and was in a general state disrepair. The bed was very uncomfortable. Not really a mattress so much as a sleeping pad with a sheet. There was only one outlet in the entire room meant for two people. The bathroom did not smell good. (My best guess is a badly vented boat septic system). We kept the toilet lid closed and bathroom door closed to keep the smell out of the room but it made it that much worse when you needed to use the bathroom / shower. The window to the room had one handle broken so the crew covered it from the outside which then made it unusable. (There was also an outside deck light frequently used by the crew at night that shined directing in the window). Overall while the crew and diving were pretty great but the bad accommodations of the boat would make me seriously consider other options if I were to go back to Socorro.

Great Crew, Adequate Boat, Good Value.
The crew was very friendly and helpful. The food was very good- better than expected. The size of the guest diver group was just right at 16 people. The condition of the ship was fair- it is not a brand new boat- but it is good as long as you don't expect anything fancy. Hot showers, working in-room air con, clean.

Boat needs some upgrading but the crew was outstanding and made the trip an amazing experience
Seeing hammerheads, mantas and dolphins. While the visibility was not great, the dive guides’ expertise made every dive a wonderful experience. They really know what they are doing.

Wow Wow Wow - Mantas, Sharks and Dolphins Galore
One dive we had mantas stay with us the entire trip and the next morning we had a pod of dolphins stay the entire dive. Saw my firsdt tiger shark. Hammerheads were abundant. Loved the crew. Great bunch of guys for sure. The boat is nice and spacious and the dive deck is nice and roomy. The crew puts your gear in the zodiacs and you just walk on. Great Job

some of the best dives i’ve ever done! dolphins, mantas, and more species of sharks than i can name. the crew went above and beyond to make sure we had an enjoyable experience- to keep us entertained, to make sure everything went smoothly. it really felt like a family by the end of the trip! everything went smoothly logistically and was well planned and well organized.

Outstanding diving, very good Crew but not very good boat.
Sealife. Absolutely amazing experience to dive with the mantas, dolphins, sharks. The Crew did a very good job, since it is also not an easy boat to work on. they were very helpful and friendly and really did their best. The boat is in bad shape though. One zodiac sank while we were in it, luckily on the past day, otherwise there would have been a Problem, since we were 3 groups. there was no real nitrox available, (only 28) and the settings of the boat are not convienient for diving. Nowhere to hang your towel in the dive Area, all dive suits stuck togheter, so they dont dry. Sleeping Cabin was good, but the bathroom is disgusting. Thats the only point i have to critizize the Crew.the bathroom was cleaned very poorly. Hairs not removed from the shower, Toilet already dirty from beginning. Got worse every day. And very smelly. And it drained very poorly which is disgusting.

Amazing diving trip in Socorro Islands
One of the best liveaboard diving trips we ever had. Crew was impeccable. They went above and beyond to keep us safe, comfortable and showed us all the beauty of Socorro Islands. They made my wife’s birthday extra special with a beautiful and scrumptious cake and the whole crew/boat singing happy birthday! Overall the experience we had was amazing. We saw lots of manta rays, dolphins everyday, different kinds of sharks even tiger shark, eels, lobsters and much more!
