An unforgettable and memorable expedition
What an incredible diving experience - it delivered on every level with an abundance of sharks, inquisitive oceanic mantas, playful dolphins and even a whaleshark (super unusual at the time of year I was travelling!). The guides were incredibly professional, and all the boat crew took our safety to be their utmost priority but it never got in the way of us enjoying ourselves and experiencing everything that the Socorro islands had to offer! The meals and service and care from the hostesses was incredible, and we were also treated to interested and well delivered marine presentations from the divemasters. Plenty of space on the boat to find a minute of calm or relax and always a friendly face to chat to - be it crew or fellow diver! I can't wait to go again!

Great crew and great dives
school of hammerheads, mantas every day and some doplhins. The crew is outstanding, very friendly, always smiling when not laughing. On the negatives the pressure for tipping. It didn't come from the crew at all, I felt it more fromthe owner who is trying to set some mimimums tipping thresholds. Didn't like it.

Amazing and hard working crew, always having our safety in their best interest.
The animals were amazing. The purpose of this trip was to see hammerheads and WOW!!!!, over 200 of them. Just like shark tank on TV. The crew were knowledgable and showed me things about my equipment. There were always goodies and treats to munch on. There was always plenty of hot water after the dives.

Amazing staff and experience
Yes, the diving was amazing. The boat was comfortable and extremely well-equipped. The thing that stands out about this trip, more than anything else, was the staff. Everyone from the captain and engineer, to the hostesses and cooks, to the divemasters and videographer were amazing. They were extremely good at their roles while being friendly, fun, and creating an amazing culture on the boat. I couldn't have asked for anything more and would book again!

Trip of a lifetime!
Just got back from Socorro on Nautilus Belle Amie and had an amazing trip. The crew were amazing from the start right through to the end of the trip. We saw many giant mantas, dolphins, at least 8 types of sharks, and much more. Could go on and on with what we saw on this trip. Would love to do it all over again some day!

Big boat lots of people, great DMs
The diving was amazing in Socorro but, the DMs made the experience that much better. I liked how they handled large groups of divers based on their own preference of diving style. It made for a healthy guest experience. Very interactive & entertaining with guests. Dive deck a little bit cramped and isn't the easiest on/off board although it is manageable all things considered. Captain runs a good ship

By far getting a chance to dive with the beautiful Great White Sharks and photograph them. A once in a lifetime experience. I definitely want to return again to dive with these amazing animals.

- The crew were all amazing and really catered to the passengers over and above expectations. The professionalism of the crew. The Nautilus Belle Amie is a beautiful first class comfortable boat. The cage diving was epic.
Absolutely Amazing!
We saw white sharks on every dive. The boat offers 5 cages so you never feel like you’re doing the same thing twice. Each night was a special event on the sun deck, including a complimentary wine tasting. The crew was top notch, friendly, and knowledgeable. I would definitely do this trip again!

The best dive and crew experience I’ve had
Virtually unlimited underwater time, multiple sharks on every dive that come right up to the cages, and a crew that makes you feel like family. I did this trip solo, and always felt included, valued, and looked after. It was the best travel and dive experience, and hopefully more than a once in a lifetime trip. Kudos to the Bella Amie team!

Diving was spectacular, while everyone was nice, except for one dive master the rest were not up to snuff.
I really enjoyed the diving. Was not as diverse as Galapagos, but a lot of close diving with Mantas, sharks and whale shark, often just 1-2 feet away. One dive we spent 30 minutes with one manta and it then followed us around! One dive we were in the canyon with many many galapagos, silky, white tip reef sharks etc, all around us for 30-40min. Saw dolphins twice. The food was pretty good. But limited for vegetarians, often fell short and kept giving potatoes in every other meal. Last meal there was no vegetarian main course. I think they served guacamole for one meal and mexican food also only one meal. The boat is nice but outdoor space was only in the roof and the smokers also in the roof. For 31 people it was not enough. Though the Galapagos aggressor was not as nice a boat there were more outdoor spots to sit than in this. I would recommend Socorro, but maybe another boat.

Awesome Manta, Dolphin, and Shark encounters
Best part of the trip are manta encounters - saw a manta breach after swimming with the dive group. Also the islands around Socorro are well protected, so this is a rare experience in terms of animals that are not afraid of humans due to fishing, etc. Only downside is that the trip to the islands is long and sometimes rough.

- Manta encounters (friendly intelligent mantas circling divers in search of bubbles), playful dolphins, Shark encounters (tons of white tip reef sharks, occasionally bigger sharks like hammerheads (rare) or Galapagos), pristine island environments.

Amazing - but a shame about the Hurricane
The boiler - diving with a huge number of dolphins. The Mantas swooping around us - the 4 dives on the boiler were sensational. The 3 days in the Sea of Cortez were very disappointing - salvaged a little at the end by a couple of dives with very playful sealions

A truly memorable experience with friendly staff, excellent food and the most amazing diving.
We picked this trip as we had never seen an oceanic manta, they did not disappoint. In addition we saw dolphins up close underwater and numerous species of shark not seen before plus, on one dive, several amazing encounters with a whale shark. The organisation by the crew to ensure we had the best experience whilst on the boat was truly exceptional, nothing seemed too much trouble. Although the diving was intense, when out of the water we were able to relax and felt cared for by all the staff. Such a good trip with great memories to look back on, until the next time...

Trip of a lifetime
I had the best time of my life in Gadualupe. In October and November, expect to see bigger females. I saw many sharks. I particularly enjoyed shark ID at the end of the day when we identified the sharks we saw from the shark log. The crew and other passengers onboard were all fantastic people.
