Highlights
Custom-built for divers, the Nautilus Belle Amie ship is the largest of the Nautilus Liveaboards’ fleet. With amenities akin to a floating boutique hotel, and a reputation for offering high-level service on board, the Nautilus Belle Amie accommodates 32 guests in 17 en-suite staterooms and suites. On the lower deck are 8 twin staterooms plus one affordable triple occupancy stateroom. The main deck has 2 premium suites, and 6 superior suites are on the wheelhouse deck. Bedding in the suites can be converted to twins or doubles. All rooms also feature individually controlled air-conditioning.
On the main deck is a large salon and dining area, where a fusion of Mexican and West Coast North American food is served. All dietary requirements, including vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, food allergy options, and quasi-kosher, can be catered to with prior notice. Breakfast, lunch, and snacks are buffet-style, and the evening meal is served plated buffet or family-style. There are two fully-stocked extensive bars on board, which include single malts, microbrews, and a large selection of wine. The large sun deck has space for everyone to enjoy lounging in the sun and a hot tub to warm up in-between dives or enjoy after diving with a drink and snack.
The heavy steel construction with stabilization of the Nautilus Belle Amie liveaboard means she was perfectly designed for ocean crossings to get divers to the world-class dive sites of the Socorro Islands or over to Guadalupe for up-close encounters with great white sharks. From November - June, the Socorro Islands are open to offering some of the best diving in the world. Friendly mantas, dolphins, humpback whales, pilot whales, and up to 10 species of shark are just some of the marine encounters the Socorro Islands offer. Or for those who want to get up close with great white sharks, the Guadalupe season offers from July - November each year. The large dive deck, onboard nitrox, and 3 large dive skiffs ensure an easy diving experience.

The Worst Liveaboard of My Life. The Worst Dive of My Life.
The vessel is plainly overdue for refurbishment. The carpet is particularly unacceptable: old, visibly dirty and so filthy that walking barefoot leaves the soles of my feet black. That dirt then ends up under the bedcovers. It needs urgent replacement. A suitable wood, laminate or comparable marine flooring system that can be cleaned properly would be a substantial improvement. The kitchen also urgently needs an effective extraction hood. Cooking takes place throughout the day, and cooking fumes, food smells and the smell of old grease spread through the communal living areas. Clothes worn during a meal end up reeking of food and grease. It is revolting, and I have never experienced anything comparable on another liveaboard. Proper kitchen extraction should be a basic feature of a professionally operated vessel.

I wish I could go back today, or never left. If you're considering, just do it.
The Belle Amie exceeded expectations. The crew is absolutely fabulous, the food is amazing and Chef Poncho always has snacks, first and second breakfast, dessert at dinner, absolutely bountiful and delicious. Home baked bread and pastries every day. Far exceeded what I thought we would have onboard.

Best whalesharks and sea lions experience
I enjoy diving with Nautilus Belle Amie, the boat is clean and the dives are conducted safely. I enjoyed the whale sharks and sea lions expeirence very much.I would highly recommend this trip.

Whales sharks were the highlight of the trip and all stop were fun and educational.
Nautilus staffs the Belle Amie with a friendly, well trained crew. They made all the stops enjoyable and educational. The whale sharks were amazing to see and swim with. The Sea of Cortez is a rare gem in the world that few get to experience.

Awesome Trip!
I had a wonderful experience on the Belle Amie! The boat is really spacious, the crew very friendly and available to answer questions and help and the food is plenty and really really good! The diving is unbelievable, the dive guides are really knowledgeable and the experience is all around great! Definitely recommended, thank you!

Best Trip of my Life!
I had one of the most beautiful trips of my life, the scuba diving was out of this world, I felt I was in a dream, with dolphins, giant mantas, hammer heads and all kinds of sharks, volcanic topography, wow! Also the crew so friendly and amazing, and the service was superb. It was worth every peso, I only want to do Liveaboard holidays from now on, especially with Nautilus, thank you!

The customer service aspect really made my time aboard well worth the time and money. The food was absolutely delicious, and the dive sites and experienced dive masters made me feel comfortable under water.
