Exceptional cruise!
Exceptional cruise! The boat is very comfortable and spacious. The bedding is super comfortable. The crew is very friendly, caring and very attentive (I proposed underwater and we had a cake the same evening and the decoration of our room with lots of fresh flowers when we came back from the dive! and it was also my partner's birthday during the cruise, he had his birthday cake with the candles!). The food is delicious and varied. The diving spots are incredible and well chosen according to the current and visibility. This was our second dive cruise, and I recommend without hesitation!

A week in divers paradise with Theia
We just did the central route first week of January and was blown away! The Theia crew have been absolutely amazing and we could not fault them one bit. Every bit of help was given and they gave a perfect vibe on board! The diving was amazing and we felt safe and well guided for all dives even in crazy current in some dives. We saw sooo much on this trip! The cruise managers Antoine and Laurie was just amazing people with perfect personalities to lead trips like this. Food was great and plenty. We loved everything about this and cannot recommend Theia and the amazing people on board enough!

Amazing Maldives!
This was a really amazing trip to see a lot of incredible sharks, rays, turtles, octopus, and fish. The dive crew were attentive and prioritized safety. The rooms are simple but comfortable, perfect for my budget. The staff worked hard to create memorable experiences beyond the diving, like a beach bbq, New Year's party, and sandbar hangout. Maldives is a bit tricky to move about given it's over 1000 islands, so a Liveaboard is an ideal way to see the place because you can focus on the dive. The chef is from Sri Lanka and really talented. It was great to have a mix of South Asian and Western cuisine. There were some inaccuracies in the trip description on Liveaboard.com, which caused a little frustration at the start, but overall I had a great time and hope to travel with Dune again.

Lovely Holiday on the Theia
Accommodations: This boat was ROOMY. Lots of space to hang out, read, drink wine, access wifi. Meals were taken at 2 large tables. Speaking of - meals were Delicious! The food was really good and there were 3 meals/day, occasional post-dive snacks, and cookies available anytime. Diving - I’m a newer diver, so to me the diving was spectacular. Over the course of the week we saw dozens of mantas, schools of nurse sharks, a ton of morays and a handful of sea turtles. There were also some black velvet snails and too many fish to mention. Also worth noting we saw a guitar fish, a leaf fish, and some boxing shrimp. Staff - our dive master was kind and patient, which I appreciated as a less-experienced diver. The staff on the ship were also very kind and accommodating and made the whole experience very comfortable. Most of the divers / staff were French-speaking, but they translated everything to English for us which was much appreciated!

Fabulous trip to one of the most beautiful places in the world! The diving was beyond compare, the crew of the Theia did everything possible to meet the needs' of their guests, and the scenery both topside and underwater were like a fantasy come to life. Amazing adventure!
Amazing adventure with the Maldives team Antoine, Laurie and Fareed! We were not so experienced with the dives with current but the guides were supportive and asked for doubts and clarification. All the seventeen dives were amazing... challenging but really amazing!

Amazing Experience
This trip was amazing. The diving was excellent (the crew puts a lot of effort into going to the best spots and checking the currents/conditions). The crew was so wonderful- so friendly and attentive. The boat itself is lovely, very spacious. The food was great and plentiful, I am vegetarian and had plenty of options.

Incredible trip, but learn French!
Absolutely outstanding trip with incredible diving. Crew were really friendly and went above and beyond to make me feel welcome as the only Brit on an entirely French boat. Food was excellent and pre-dinner drinks on the sundeck was always welcome. Cannot recommend highly enough but be aware that you'll need to know your French!

Theia is perfection
From the guys on the dhoni to the diving instructors, everyone on board was friendly and efficient. The dive briefings were exact and the reefs are beautiful and abundant. Sharks Mantas and the millions of smaller fish make each dive thrilling. It was Xandra’s first live aboard but definitely not her last. Thanks to everyone. The office staff were also amazing!

Top trip, top sightings, top dive guides
What an amazing trip with Theia/Dunes. We chose this boat specifically due to the min. dives which were required and what we got were highly experienced divers who were a pleasure to dive with. The group was pretty much divided 50:50 between French and English speaking people. Briefings were always in French and English. The dive guides, especially Simone, were amazing!!! They made the trip very special. The diving itself .... I guess that was our best trip ever with sharks on every dive. But not only sharks and I am talking 100+ sharks on some dives.... we saw many mantas, tons of rays, 1 whaleshark. The food was also truly wonderful with lots of vegetarian options and amazing fish dishes. The boat is older and would need some upgrades but everything worked so it was not a big deal. Bottom line is that the trip was top and one of our best we have ever had after 20+ years of diving.

Great boat, great crew, great week
We had a great week! Beginning with the beautiful boat and the outstanding crew (boat, dhoni and guides) the really good atmosphere between the guests and of course the diving! We were shown the best of “the north” with lots of mantas and beautiful dive sites. We will definitely come back aboard Theia!

Great diving trip
The diving guides worked hard to fulfill our expectations. The briefings were comprehensive and dives were well organised. The diving dhoni was spacious, comfortable and well organised. All the staff of Theia was friendly and helpfull. The food was excellent and plentifull. The cabin and bathroom was clean and comfortable. This was one of the best liveboard trip I have taken part in. I loved the idea of internal rails and big pegs to dry clothes and towels.

An Unforgettable Dive Safari Experience in the Maldives
I recently returned from a dive safari in the Maldives, and it was truly an experience of a lifetime! From start to finish, everything exceeded my expectations. The crew was exceptional—friendly, professional, and always ready to help with a smile. They went above and beyond to ensure everyone felt comfortable and safe. The diving sites were breathtaking, with vibrant coral reefs, an incredible variety of marine life, and stunning underwater landscapes. Each dive felt like a new adventure, and the dive guides were knowledgeable, pointing out unique sights and making sure we had the best experience. The food on board was also fantastic. Every meal was fresh, delicious, and offered a great variety that catered to everyone’s tastes. After a day of diving, enjoying a beautifully prepared meal made the experience even better. I could tell the staff took great care in maintaining every detail, from the equipment to the amenities. Extremely comfortable dive boat with great diving
I really enjoyed the night we saw mantas and sharks off the back of the boat as they came to the surface attracted by the light. I also really enjoyed the beach BBQ - the staff put a lot of work into making that enjoyable for us. The diving was really great - I'd been waiting 8 years to see a manta ray and I got to see plenty on a crowd pleasing dive with tons of mantas and sharks. The above water scenery was great too! .

The best 3 things were the size and spaciousness of the boat, the extremely comfortable dive dhoni and the diving (particularly the manta rays).

Theia is spacious and well equiped. Very friendly staff, from boat guys to diving guides. love the concept of the dhoni as separate dive boat. great variety in dives and fauna/flora: from nudies and crustaceans to manta ray and grey or white tip reef sharks and nurse sharks ! due to surges and rip currents i wouldn't recommend this trip to new divers: you need to (manage your) dive independently, so best to first build experience and confidence in calmer waters.

Fantastic liveaboard trip in Maldives
We dove with a small group even with 15 passangers aboard, Lamont is a skilled dive master and she did a great job instructing us to gain our advanced open water certificate. The entire staff was friendly, the variety of food was great. Simone gave 2 interesting presentations about shark identification and Manta Rays. So when we spotted each creature underwater, those facts made the dive that much better.
