The Soleil 2 is a liveaboard in the Maldives that accommodates 28 guests in 14 air-conditioned cabins with en-suite bathrooms with hot showers. There is an air-conditioned indoor dining area, and on the top deck, the is open-air covered seating for guests who want to dine under the stars. There are air-conditioned saloons and a large sun deck for relaxing in between dives or enjoying the sunset views. Great trip!
We absolutely loved this liveaboard and would book it again in a heartbeat. The boat was huge — actually the biggest liveaboard we've ever been on. With only 16 guests onboard (compared to a maximum of 28), it felt incredibly spacious and never crowded. We stayed in a cabin on the lower deck, which was surprisingly large and very comfortable. The food was good and tasty throughout the trip. While there wasn't a huge variety from day to day, they did a great job accommodating vegetarian dietary requirements. A big bonus was the draft beer available onboard after diving. The diving was excellent overall, with plenty of shark and manta ray encounters that made the trip truly memorable. There were a few dive sites that didn't seem particularly impressive, and we weren't quite sure why they were included in the itinerary, but the majority of the diving was fantastic. The dive crew was professional, friendly, and always helpful. The only downside was the additional charges at the end of the trip. The mandatory daily service charge, Nitrox fees, and charges for extra dives added up quickly and made the final bill higher than expected. That said, the overall experience was outstanding. One of the highlights was the great group of guests onboard — everyone got along so well, and it really added to the experience. We left with wonderful memories and would happily return.

Brilliant week deep south
I dived deep south itinerary which was great, really loved the channel dives and Fuvamulah especially. Great dives. We were a full boat of 28 which felt busy on the smaller sites around Gan but was not an issue on the rest, with groups dropping in different areas. The trip does 19 dives and 17 are included, not had that before where you pay extra dives, would prefer it was all included tbh. The staff and the owner were all fantastic and incredibly helpful❤️

Really wonderful crew, always happy to make the day. Help you and keep you relaxed under water. Great food, tip to improve: more vega(n) options. I loved the Maldivian breakfast with tuna and roshi 👌🏽. Will definitely promote Soleil-2 and keep diving :)

Fantastic week
This was a really good week. we saw everything possible, apart from a hammer shark. The whale shark came to the boat on the first night, which was a bonus and a great way to start the week. The boat is comfortable, and the master cabins on the main deck are massive! The crew is polite, friendly and they know what they are doing. Shahid (the boat owner) edited a comprehensive diving footage at the end, which was handy! I would highly recommend this boat, and especially the deep-south itinerary.

Excellent diving with friendly guides and crew
We were lucky to see most of the large marine creatures that Maldives has to offer - whale sharks, manta rays, dolphins, stingrays, nurse sharks, white tip sharks, and grey reef sharks, all in a space of 6 days of diving. Our guides Aslam, Faya, Kiko and Kimi were very knowledgeable of the sites and the sea conditions, hence greatly increasing our chances of sighting these creatures. We will be back again.

Best diving and overall experience
The dive sites chosen by the crew where really great. The crew is formed by Maldivians who are really nice and friendly. The guides really enjoy diving so they really make it good for you on every dive. The food is quite good. In maldives you will see lofs of fish, sharks, turtles and Mantas!!

Spacious cabins, Crazy night dives, Excellent value for money
Spacious boat - large relaxation areas, very large cabin (2 King Size Bed, bar fridge, large toilet). Experience guides that able to help guests handle very strong currents. Excellent dive sites - lots of sharks, fishes, turtles, octopus, whalesharks, etc. Owner always on boat to ensure everything OK. Very generous operator - allowed check out at 11 am, 3 pm and even 7 pm; provide meals even on check out day. Lots of food for the Christmas party (but limited quantity during other days) and crews put up an excellent local culture show. Must really experience this LOB - best I had so far. Will return
