The beautiful Seafari Explorer liveaboard Maldives caters to 24 guests in 12 cabins. Each cabin is en-suite with air-conditioning, has ample storage space with either two singles, a double or double plus one single bed. Itineraries aboard the Seafari Explorer vary from 7 - 14 nights and explore the best Maldives atolls from the north to the south. The 7-night 'Central Atolls' trip covers North or South Male, Ari, and Vavuu atolls, where you have the chance to see manta cleaning stations, reef sharks, eagle rays, and large numbers of fish. The North Atolls itinerary visits Male up to Baa Atoll. There are also special itineraries that will show you the more remote dive areas of the Maldives, including equator crossings. Nitrox is available onboard for certified divers.

Big Fish
The boat is amazing, plenty of space and the rooms are above average. The diving locations are amazing from the air, the coral can be so so but the fish life is amazing. So many Manta's it was incredible.

From December 1st to 8th, 2019, I did my first scuba diving cruise aboard the Seafari Explorer and I loved every moment on board and underwater.
The best moments of the trip were the two night dives, one with the manta rays, the other with the nurse sharks, the encounters with the grey sharks, white tip sharks, black tip sharks... And the greatest emotion was to find myself face to face with my first whale shark. Memories that will remain forever engraved in my memory. I met some great people on the boat and I can say that beautiful friendships were born. I was lucky enough to have a room of my own. Very comfortable. Our guide, Tom, was exceptional. Very prepared and very attentive to his group. He and Mélanie took very good care of us throughout the cruise. I couldn't have hoped for better for my first liveboard adventure.

Very nice cabin and great dive sites an guide!
The dive sites are awesome and the crew is well organized. Diving at night with nurse sharks was great again and we could see a lot of other sharks and Mantas. The cabins are very nice with much place and everything is well orgnized.

Great boat, wonderful crew, world-class diving
Spectacular reefs with particularly impressive soft corals in the many caves and overhangs. Dramatic underwater topography at some sites made appreciable by great visibility (up to 45 m). Great fast drift diving and channel dives hanging out to watch the sharks. Consistently seeing “big stuff” - blacktip, whitetip and grey reef sharks, eagle and marbled stingray, mantas, whale sharks. The crew clearly knew the sites and ideal conditions and used this to their advantage. It was clear that COVID has thrown some curveballs, but they more than made up for this - we ended up doing far more than the advertised number of dives and had an absolutely excellent experience. Highly recommended. (PS - although Seafari is traditionally a “French” boat, the dive guides spoke good English, and we enjoyed a multicultural polyglottal experience.
