The luxury Scubaspa Yin is a unique liveaboard in the Maldives that expertly combines world-class scuba diving with indulgent spa treatments. Sister ship to the Scubaspa Yang, there are 30 staff members aboard Scubaspa Yin, including a team of full-time spa therapists who treat guests in the 4 available treatment rooms. Up to 36 guests can be accommodated in 17 guest cabins (maximum 26 divers). Onboard, a variety of suites are spread across 3 decks to suit all guests. The 10 Sea Star Cabins and Cowrie Suite have queen-sized beds on the lower deck. On the main deck are 3 Dolphin Suites with queen beds and 4 Manta Suites with King beds. Main deck cabins have sea views. All rooms are spacious, featuring individually controlled air conditioning, private en-suite bathrooms, storage space, and a safety deposit box.

The restaurant is located on the main deck and offers fine dining with an international flair, complemented by the finest wines. Three buffet-style meals and an à la carte menu, complete with cooking stations, are served daily. All dietary requirements can be catered to with advance notice. There are also 2 bars, an outdoor jacuzzi, an outdoor spa lounge, a yoga parlor, 2 large sundecks, a secluded deck for Thai massages and other treatments, an outdoor HD cinema, and a mini gym.

ScubaSpa is Heaven for Divers!
I loved my Manta Stateroom & the ever changing views of the Maldives. If excellent diving with wonderful dive masters wasn’t enough—they schooled us on diving in wild currents/reef hooks, etc!!! The BBQ dinner on the sand island was over the top! And...the massages in the spa—perfect!!!

Beautiful dive trip in the North Atolls onboard ScubaSpa Ying
Our second trip with Scubaspa heading towards the North Atolls. Fantastic service under Thomas leadership and our Manta Suite was a very comfortable cabin. We were blessed with great weather for August and V and the diving team made the trip very special. We will be back soon!

Exceeded expectations!
-the night shark dive -most of the dives were some of the best I've ever done (I hit my 100th dive on this trip!) -the beach BBQ and sundeck dinner were really spectacular -just relaxing on the sundeck and taking it all in -the food... And the variety at every meal -meeting cool people from around the world -the first Manta cleaning station (got really lucky, didn't get so lucky at the others, but that's diving)

Fantastic!
It was a fantastic experience! We saw a variety of marine life, and the dive sites were beautiful. The visibility wasn’t perfect due to the weather, but I can’t complain about that. My husband and I had such a lovely New Year with all the passengers and crew members. Good vibes and Great people!

The week was nothing short of amazing. Our dive guide Hood was great and extremely knowledgable. The Dive Director (Briony) was also amazing and she got along so well with our daughter. Bar crew and Dinner Crew cant be faulted. Would get up at 6am and my coffee would be waiting for me. In short it cant be faulted. we would certainly go again.

Incredible trip

Amazing crew amazing dives
Crews are amazing! They are there to help whenever you need them, extraordinarily friendly. Dive guides are very experienced and good at handling newbie divers. The dives are so amazing that we don’t want to miss even one minute. Our friends had to leave because of medical issue only 2 days after which was sad but we were very grateful for their way of handling and the care they shown. They can’t wait to get back! We had a fantastic honeymoon, the boat crew was always friendly and attentive to us, the food was varied, fresh, healthy and well cooked. The cocktails were excellent. The diving equipment was in good condition and the groups were 4 people maximum. We recommend it 100%.

Outstanding Experience
Whale Shark, Huge Mantas - everywhere you looked there was something new to see. The crew were a joy - they could not have tried any harder to satisfy every guest and they absolutely went above and beyond. The cabins were spacious, the food varied and well prepared, the service generally could not be faulted - we will be back!

Wow what a way to do a live a board!!
I love the combination of catering for divers and non-divers. The spa and snorkelling and shore execursions are fantastic. the staff is actually the highlight of the trip. Nothing is ever to much for them. The service is always with a smile and very quickly they learn how you like your drinks, what your preferneces are and they cater to these effortlessly. they go out of their way to make you feel special and welcome. The diving crew is fantastic from the dive guides to the support staff on the Dhoni everything is effortless.The movie night under the stars and the beach BBQ was really memorable. This is a must take trip.

I had such an amazing time on the scubaspa yang, there is nothing that i didnt like! The boat Itself was just amazing, big and Very exclusive! The Staff were wonderful, the most sincere loving people!! And the diving- well nedless to say, MALDIVES-diving beats everything! Beautiful dive sites guided by the best most passionate instructors! Fabulous liveaboard & location - 5 stars all around!
This was our first liveaboard experience, and I'm afraid I've been spoiled! The Ying is beautiful - very luxe, wonderful rooms, plenty of public space - and the spa is to die for! You feel like you're in a fabulous spa at home (but then realize it's actually on a ship in the middle of the Indian Ocean!). The treatments were all terrific and the masseuses really have a lot of experience. Between my husband & myself, we indulged in a 5 massages, 1 facial, and one anniversary package (massage & scrub & wrap) - this last one was on the house due to our celebration, and it was such a nice touch! This was a highlight of the boat that definitely sets it apart from other liveaboard vessels. The diving in the Maldives (our reason for going) was top-notch, and our crew was experienced and very capable. We saw everything we could have hoped to see - mantas, so many turtles, multiple whale sharks, schools of fish like I've never seen before (and we've dived a good number of prime diving sites in the world), etc. etc. Matt & his entire liveaboard crew went out of their way to make all of our vacations memorable, and we enjoyed it all - the sandbar & island stops, BBQ night on the deserted island, etc etc. All fantastic! We happened to go in the low season (late May), but our sea conditions were fine (I think visibility was lower than normal, though it was still decently good for us - about 20-30m)...and allowed us to have some significant discount in the pricing (25% lower than peak season). A few important details: Wifi is free and included (not so in many liveaboards), staterooms were plush (we were in a manta suite with a huge window), food is abundant and great (loved the pre-morning dive coffee service & treats). Can't wait to go back again!
