Exceeded expectations!
-the night shark dive -most of the dives were some of the best I've ever done (I hit my 100th dive on this trip!) -the beach BBQ and sundeck dinner were really spectacular -just relaxing on the sundeck and taking it all in -the food... And the variety at every meal -meeting cool people from around the world -the first Manta cleaning station (got really lucky, didn't get so lucky at the others, but that's diving)

- The boat (it's beautifully designed and spacious), the staff (every single person was warm, friendly and attentive) and everything about the diving (from the dive spots, to the Dhoni, to all the dive staff)

The one thing you should do
The best part was a night dive with around 100 nurse sharkes. I can highly recommend the trip since the dive is Amazing and the boat was big, stable and fully relaxing. You dont have to do anything if you dont want to exept diving.

A Small Luxury Cruise with Good Scuba
ScubaSpa Ying is a great boat to be on. We were in the Dolphin suite; it was large (for a boat) and quite comfortable. I'd give the bed a B+ or A- for comfort (which is better than some resorts I've been to in the Maldives; I doubt you'll find better a better bed on a boat). The food was fantastic; there was a good variety (usually some sea food and some chicken or beef). There was Italian night, Mexican night, and Asian night. I feel this is the best food you're going to find on any boat. The diving was great! They have fantastic dive briefings with slides and topographical maps of the sea floor. There is abundant wildlife in the Maldives. The dive boat is quite comfortable. The guides are very helpful. The dives typically only lasted about 45 minutes each, though. My air consumption isn't the best, but it's not bad. I feel that we were a bit deeper than needed for some of the dives. Our experience here was basically dive, eat, nap, and repeat for 3 times each day. There is limited entertainment on the boat itself, though; your time on the boat will be eating, napping, or socializing with the other guests (and fellow scuba divers are usually pretty good company). They'll take you out for a beach day once or twice. They may get out the stand-up paddle boards or inner tube sometimes. You can expect something like 17 dives while on the boat including one night dive.
