The 50m Scubaspa Yang liveaboard is the sister vessel to the Scubaspa Ying which offers year-round diving holidays in the Maldives. Winner of multiple awards, the Scubaspa Yang offers a true luxury diving experience in the Maldives. Up to 40 guests can be accommodated onboard in 10 cabins and 9 suites, of which there is a choice of queen, king, or twin bed configurations. One suite and one cabin can be converted into a triple to accommodate 3 guests. All cabins feature en-suite bathrooms and individually controlled air conditioning and the 9 suites located on the main deck all offer panoramic sea views.
The restaurant is located on the main deck and is where three buffet-style meals plus an a-la-carte menu are served. There are live cooking stations and internationally qualified chefs are able to cater to all dietary needs. There is also an alfresco dining area at the rear of the main deck and there will be the opportunity to enjoy a BBQ on a deserted island during your stay. The onboard spa is 300m2 with 6 treatment rooms, including a double room for couples.
Diving from the Scubaspa Yang takes place from the accompanying dive dhoni, which carries all the equipment, including the air compressors, nitrox filling station, rinse tanks, and dive equipment storage. Experienced multi-lingual dive instructors and divemasters can cater to all diving levels and abilities. As a PADI 5 Star Dive Resort, a variety of courses, from beginner to advanced can be taken on board. Itineraries cover the ‘Best of Maldives’, which includes the Male Atolls, Ari Atolls, and Rasdhoo & Vaavu Atoll, and is available all year, except for February & March when the Scubaspa yacht travels to the ‘Deep South’ for more remote diving suited to more experienced divers.

Best Liveaboard Experience Ever!
The friendlyness of the staff was amazing. They were so accomodating, polite, professional and always ready to step up and beyond to meet every need! Spectacular diving with incredible dive guides - knowledgable, patient, attentive and professional! I especially appreciate that high standards were held for our safety above and under the water!

Exceeded all Expectations
Let’s start with… I booked this liveaboard as a solo traveler and I left the week with a new scuba family. Any and all expectations were exceeded on this trip. The staff, were always there to help you, serve you and anything you may need. The food is out of this world so good. The room is comfortable, has AC and is cleaned everyday. If you are looking to do a liveaboard, do not waste your time looking for a boat that isn’t this. This was a lifetime experience that I hope to do again as soon as possible. It was truly a dream come true!

Great for divers and non-divers
The boat only had 16 divers on board so the diver to guide ratio was fantastic. I was traveling with someone who didn’t dive so she got the spa package and there wasn’t a bad massage on the menu. I ended up with three massages anyway. This boat is great for a few dives a day and a gentle itinerary and/or if you’re traveling with a non-diver. If you want many dives and and better caliber of divers this is not the boat for you.

Absolutely Fabulous Dive Cruise
This trip was the best live aboard experience that I have had. The service was truly 5 star. The amenities were well above expectations and the food was excellent. There was not even a single dish that I didn’t care for. I have been on many live aboards and this was the best I have experienced. I fully recommend ScubaSpa and will be booking with them in Indonesia in the future

Sixth Time in Maldives and the Best Experience Yet!
Amazing boat and staff! Excellent diving with superior food, fun activities-beach sunset yoga, SUP, kayaks, beach time, knowledgeable and helpful dive masters! The boat was less than half capacity, which allowed for lots of space on the boat and only 4 divers per dive guide. They thoughtfully matched up skill levels to create the dive groups. Dive guides were very helpful and knew the dive sites intricately. Dive briefings were well communicated with professional graphics to enhance experience. The food was amazing with themed dinners , beach bbq, and al fresco dining. The spa was fantastic with any spa treatments you would like. I could not have enjoyed it more!

This was one of the best decisions I've ever made and I don't even dive! Five star everything while floating through the amazing Maldives. Incredible boat with an outstanding crew.
We cannot say enough about the crew of Scuba Spa Yang. The servers: Miraj, Azad, Nazrul and Star are certainly worth their weight in gold. The dive with the giant mantas was epic not to be outdone by a near run in with a whale shark - UNBELIEVABLE! The accommodations where very comfortable. If you are going for soft corals, colors and macro photography I think you'd have more luck in Palau or Fiji.
