The 50m Scubaspa Yang liveaboard is the sister vessel to the Scubaspa Ying, which offers year-round diving holidays in the Maldives. Winner of multiple awards, the Scubaspa Yang provides a truly luxurious diving experience in the Maldives. Up to 26 guests can be accommodated in 17 guest cabins (5 Manta Suites, 3 Dolphin Suites, 1 Cowrie Suite, 8 Sea Star Cabins). One suite and one cabin can be converted into a triple to accommodate 3 guests. All cabins feature en-suite bathrooms and individually controlled air conditioning. The 8 suites located on the main deck all offer panoramic sea views.
The restaurant is located on the main deck and serves three buffet-style meals, plus an à la carte menu. There are live cooking stations, and internationally qualified chefs cater to all dietary needs. There is also an alfresco dining area at the rear of the main deck, and there will be the opportunity to enjoy a BBQ on a deserted island during your stay. The onboard spa spans 300 m² and features 4 treatment rooms, including a double room designed for couples.
Diving from the Scubaspa Yang takes place from the accompanying dive dhoni, which carries all the necessary equipment, including air compressors, a nitrox filling station, rinse tanks, and dive equipment storage. Experienced multi-lingual dive instructors and divemasters can cater to all diving levels and abilities. As a PADI 5 Star Dive Resort, a variety of courses, from beginner to advanced, can be taken on board. Itineraries cover the ‘Best of Maldives’, which includes the Male Atolls, Ari Atolls, and Rasdhoo & Vaavu Atoll, and is available all year, except for February & March when the Scubaspa yacht travels to the ‘Deep South’ for more remote diving suited to more experienced divers.

Epic week and best experience of our lives so far. Everything was perfect from the boat itself all the way to the crew. Delicious and lots of varieties of food everyday. EXCELLENT diving, big thanks to TOKEN our dive guide, tick every boxes. 100% planning to repeat. Boat was 10/10 but crew 12/10 and what made the experience really amazing and an ever lasting memory! An unforgettable week
We spent our honeymoon on ScubaSpa Yang, and it was honestly perfect. The diving team, led by Victoria, was incredible - full of knowledge, care, and fun. Our guide Shaad was especially amazing: calm, supportive, and made every one of our 17 dives feel exciting and safe. Big thanks also to Mizze and Sharif for their ocean wisdom and great energy. And the Dhoni crew - Capi Suhail, Kawsar, and Hassan - navigated with ease to every dive site and kept everything with our gear smooth and easy. Onboard, Branden and his team made everything feel seamless and personal. Sajiv and Abey made the best drinks (plus the daily homemade ice cream!), Chef Abdullah wowed us with delicious global dishes, and Jim and Madu made every meal feel special. Hussain and Nazmul kept our room spotless and cozy the whole week. We loved starting the day with yoga with Lins, relaxing with massages from Ella, and heading off on fun island visits and water sports with Ahmed and Jamil. Everything was beautifully organized but never felt rushed. Thank you, ScubaSpa family, for the most unforgettable week! we definitely come back❤️

Scubaspa Maldives has been, without question, the best liveaboard I have ever been on. From the moment you step on board, you feel welcomed, cared for, and completely spoiled. The staff is unbelievably friendly—every single person goes above and beyond to make your stay comfortable, memorable, and effortless. The boat itself is pure luxury. Everything is impeccably clean, beautifully maintained, and designed to make you feel like you’re on a floating boutique hotel rather than a traditional liveaboard. The common areas, the rooms, the spa, the decks… all flawless. The food deserves its own mention. There is a wide variety at every meal, and the quality is honestly exquisite. Fresh, flavourful, and prepared with so much care—you look forward to every single menu. As for the diving: exceptional. The dive guides are extremely experienced, capable, and attentive. You always feel safe and supported, whether it’s your first time in the Maldives or your hundredth. Their knowledge of the dive sites and currents is impressive, and every briefing is thorough and reassuring. If you want a luxury liveaboard experience that combines world-class diving with incredible hospitality, Scubaspa Maldives is truly unmatched. I can’t recommend it highly enough.

Awesome diving experience in perfect ambience
Beautiful boat and awesome crew. Simon, Laura and Tristan were the perfect Boat directors and very interested in our safety and personal well-being. We felt very welcome all the time and always had someone around for a nice chat. The dive teachers Mox and Wishoo are very experienced and know every dive spot by heart. We had a stunning trip and loved every minute of it. The highlights were the BBQ on a private island - so beautiful! So as the night dive surrounded by hundreds of sharks. Also the diving spots were well chosen, every single one had its own speciality. Food and service were amazing too, we could ask for everything anytime. We do definitely recommend the Scubaspa Ying experience and will come back for our next diving adventure! Thanks to the whole crew for the great trip!

Amazing liveaboard
Amazing boat with some of the best diving I've ever done. The crew went above and beyond to make your stay perfect. The food was delicious. The cabins where spacious. We wanted to book this again the second our trip was done!

EPIC!! Best holiday of my life!!
Had the best time ever! The crew is so friendly and professional, they were there for you whenever you needed them and for whatever you can think of. They know a lot about the local divesites and environment and this made the dives even more fun! The dives itself were breathtakingly gorgeous! So much diversity :) and everything on the boat is well taken care of! Would definately reccomend this trip, its the adventure of a lifetime! I can not wait to return anytime soon :)

Most Awesome Dive Trip Ever
So much to see, everything - the ocean was our looking glass and we say it all, dolphins, turtles, moray eels, fish - tiny to small to big to large - amazing, octopus, cuttlefish, sting rays, eagle rays - just floating by like a carpet ride, manta rays - so graceful, sharks - nurse, tiger, black tip, white tip, hammerhead, and of course the whale shark - WOW! WOW! WOW! A most comfortable space to sleep, rest, eat, brief, and relax - the Scubaspa Yang was awesome with the most professional staff ever, they had everything needed in mind - very personal to each guest, they always knew what we needed or wanted for the moment at hand. The extras were over the top with beach BBQs, evening entertainment, and the dining room displays - so thoughtful. Dive masters were very knowledgeable of every site we visited and always made it a point to explain why and where we dove and what we may see - its the ocean and nature - nothing is for sure. We did not know ahead of time this was Shark Week, it was absolutely amazing. We even had the opportunity to get a few PADI certificates for awareness on Sharks and Whale Sharks, and we learned about shark conservation for 2 special guests that were on board with us as divers. This was the most awesome, wonderful, exciting, entertaining, educational dive trip we have ever been on and will take the best opportunity to do it again in the future. Thank you LiveAboard for showing us this safari trip - a gift of a lifetime.
