The 50m Scubaspa Yang liveaboard is the sister vessel to the Scubaspa Ying, which offers year-round diving holidays in the Maldives. Winner of multiple awards, the Scubaspa Yang provides a truly luxurious diving experience in the Maldives. Up to 36 guests (maximum 26 divers) can be accommodated in 17 guest cabins (5 Manta Suites, 3 Dolphin Suites, 1 Cowrie Suite, 8 Sea Star Cabins). One suite and one cabin can be converted into a triple to accommodate 3 guests. All cabins feature en-suite bathrooms and individually controlled air conditioning. The 8 suites located on the main deck all offer panoramic sea views.
The restaurant is located on the main deck and serves three buffet-style meals, plus an à la carte menu. There are live cooking stations, and internationally qualified chefs cater to all dietary needs. There is also an alfresco dining area at the rear of the main deck, and there will be the opportunity to enjoy a BBQ on a deserted island during your stay. The onboard spa spans 300 m² and features 4 treatment rooms, including a double room designed for couples.
Diving from the Scubaspa Yang takes place from the accompanying dive dhoni, which carries all the necessary equipment, including air compressors, a nitrox filling station, rinse tanks, and dive equipment storage. Experienced multi-lingual dive instructors and divemasters can cater to all diving levels and abilities. As a PADI 5 Star Dive Resort, a variety of courses, from beginner to advanced, can be taken on board. Itineraries cover the ‘Best of Maldives’, which includes the Male Atolls, Ari Atolls, and Rasdhoo & Vaavu Atoll, and is available all year, except for February & March when the Scubaspa yacht travels to the ‘Deep South’ for more remote diving suited to more experienced divers.

Lifechanging trip overcoming fear of sharks & best diving in the world!
This was hands down the best liveaboard in the Maldives. The staff were all incredible, they made the experience so memorable. I had a phobia of sharks and have been diving to overcome this (successfully) since 2022, however, this was going to be my first time diving with sharks. Bryony was my dive instructor and she was the best I've ever had. Professional, patient, understanding, inspiring and fun. HAving Shark Guardian on-board meant we got to take part in shark conservation and learn about sharks, their behaviours and how to dive with them. Both Brendon at Shark Guardian and Bryony changed my life and this was one of the best weeks of my life. I am able to now dive with sharks and enjoy it! The food was delicious, and the staff provide such a personal experience on board and offer a more premium trip to other boats. This includes group dinner under the stars, beach dinner and private island experience and from the moment you step on you feel at home and there is world class diving, the best instructors and every single detail is taken care of. This was an unforgettable trip and we 10000% recommend.

Unforgettable trip on Scubaspa Yang
An exceptional experience aboard the Scubaspa Yang. Without question, this is the finest liveaboard cruise I have experienced to date. The level of service is outstanding: warm welcome, genuine personalized attention, highly adaptable and professional dive team, beautiful underwater sites, excellent cuisine, and a consistently kind and attentive crew. A special mention for the Manta Suites, which are simply sublime—extraordinarily spacious and refined for a liveaboard. I could only wish for my bedroom in Paris to feel exactly like my cabin on the Scubaspa Yang. Everything came together perfectly. A truly memorable experience.

Exceeded expections!
Seeing Manta Rays and Hammerhead Sharks. The 2 Island parties and the dining on the open deck one night were a special touch that I enjoyed more than I expected.

Excellent Dive Trip
This trip was one of the best we have ever done; we have been diving with 2 teens for the last 6 years, twice a year. The crew is excellent in every way including taking care of our teens. The Yang is a superb boat, like a mini cruise ship, with all the comfort and a dive tender that is very spacious for max 20 divers. We definitely recommend this trip and will likely return ourselves. The best of diving and luxury cruise worlds all in one
Diving route allowing to see manta rays, pelagic and sharks for my husband, and for me, a poor swimmer, the possibility to snorkel on top of a whale shark thanks to Mario, the best dive instructor to my eyes after this unexpected experience.

Tivemos dias incríveis com o Scubaspa ying. Toda a tripulação é fantástica, cordial e atenciosa. Unexpected luxury on board! We didn't expect a liveaboard to be a floating resort. Each section of the day is accompanied by a dedicated service team, which acts with passion and extraordinary professionalism. The meals were much better than we expected - it is still a mystery to us how you can cook so creatively and internationally on board. The service team has read your every wish from the Aucen, the bar is open around the clock. On board the smaller dive boat is a team of helpers who keep an eye on safety and service at the same time. Our dive guide "Buddy" was the best guide we have had so far. ( and we already had around 150Dives)In addition to thegreat service and the modern and luxurious boat was the Itiniary. In addition to dives and spa, evening BBQs or cocktail bar nights on sandbanks are also part of the program. Last but not least, all ( 18 ) guests on board immediately formed a great group - people from all over the world and of all ages. We will be back!!!
