The 50m Scubaspa Yang liveaboard is the sister vessel to the Scubaspa Ying, which offers year-round diving holidays in the Maldives. Winner of multiple awards, the Scubaspa Yang provides a truly luxurious diving experience in the Maldives. Up to 36 guests can be accommodated in 17 guest cabins (5 Manta Suites, 3 Dolphin Suites, 1 Cowrie Suite, 8 Sea Star Cabins). One suite and one cabin can be converted into a triple to accommodate 3 guests. All cabins feature en-suite bathrooms and individually controlled air conditioning. The 8 suites located on the main deck all offer panoramic sea views.
The restaurant is located on the main deck and serves three buffet-style meals, plus an à la carte menu. There are live cooking stations, and internationally qualified chefs cater to all dietary needs. There is also an alfresco dining area at the rear of the main deck, and there will be the opportunity to enjoy a BBQ on a deserted island during your stay. The onboard spa spans 300 m² and features 4 treatment rooms, including a double room designed for couples.
Diving from the Scubaspa Yang takes place from the accompanying dive dhoni, which carries all the necessary equipment, including air compressors, a nitrox filling station, rinse tanks, and dive equipment storage. Experienced multi-lingual dive instructors and divemasters can cater to all diving levels and abilities. As a PADI 5 Star Dive Resort, a variety of courses, from beginner to advanced, can be taken on board. Itineraries cover the ‘Best of Maldives’, which includes the Male Atolls, Ari Atolls, and Rasdhoo & Vaavu Atoll, and is available all year, except for February & March when the Scubaspa yacht travels to the ‘Deep South’ for more remote diving suited to more experienced divers.

An unforgettable week
We spent our honeymoon on ScubaSpa Yang, and it was honestly perfect. The diving team, led by Victoria, was incredible - full of knowledge, care, and fun. Our guide Shaad was especially amazing: calm, supportive, and made every one of our 17 dives feel exciting and safe. Big thanks also to Mizze and Sharif for their ocean wisdom and great energy. And the Dhoni crew - Capi Suhail, Kawsar, and Hassan - navigated with ease to every dive site and kept everything with our gear smooth and easy. Onboard, Branden and his team made everything feel seamless and personal. Sajiv and Abey made the best drinks (plus the daily homemade ice cream!), Chef Abdullah wowed us with delicious global dishes, and Jim and Madu made every meal feel special. Hussain and Nazmul kept our room spotless and cozy the whole week. We loved starting the day with yoga with Lins, relaxing with massages from Ella, and heading off on fun island visits and water sports with Ahmed and Jamil. Everything was beautifully organized but never felt rushed. Thank you, ScubaSpa family, for the most unforgettable week! we definitely come back❤️

World-Class Encounters Under the Waves: The diving was nothing short of extraordinary. The crew consistently put us on world-class sites, delivering the kind of marine life encounters that most divers only dream of. Every single dive felt like a page out of a documentary. We were spoiled with multiple, up-close encounters with majestic manta rays, breathtaking sightings of a whale shark, and exhilarating dives surrounded by various species of sharks and dozens of graceful eagle rays. Combined with the stunning health of the reefs—vibrant, beautiful, and teeming with life—it was a truly unforgettable underwater spectacle. Service, Comfort, and Those Perfect Details: The professionalism and friendliness of the crew were outstanding. They managed to be highly professional and safety-conscious while making us feel like family. Beyond the diving, the ship itself felt like a boutique hotel. Our cabins were spacious and incredibly comfortable, providing the perfect retreat after a long day of diving. But it was the little details that elevated the experience into pure luxury. From the beautifully set dining tables at every meal to the charming whaleshark drawn in the foam of our morning cappuccino, the crew's dedication to guest happiness shone through in every interaction. A Culinary Revelation for Vegans: As vegans, dining on a liveaboard can often be challenging, but the kitchen staff here delivered an absolutely fabulous culinary experience. They made the biggest effort to ensure we had varied, delicious, and exciting food for every single meal. We didn't just get a side salad; we were treated to creative, flavorful dishes that rivaled top-tier restaurants. Their dedication went far beyond expectation, making the food a true highlight of the entire trip. Final Verdict: This liveaboard sets the gold standard for dive travel. Luxury liveaboard diving holiday
Diving was extraordinary. Our dive guides showed us reefs and marine life that exceeded expectations.Food and beverages were exceptional, with great variety and everything prepared to perfection. Crew is fantastic, with everybody going out of their way to ensure the best possible guest experience. The boat offers very comfortable cabins and a luxurious spa. All in all this is a liveaboard experience above anything else that I have experienced and I am already looking forward to my next trip with Scubaspa.

Best Liveaboard Experience EVER!
It was just the perfect trip from beginning to the end. We were met at the airport by a crew member, and was brought to the motherboat by the dive dhoni. Upon arrival on the main boat, the registration process was simple and clear. We were brought to the cabin by the cruise manager, and given a short introduction of the cabin. In the evening of the arrival day, we were all given a full briefing and met the whole crew of the ScubaSpa Yang. There was 18 divers on our trip, but the boat never felt crowded throughout the whole trip. The sea star cabin was modern, clean and very comfortable. It was the entry level cabin, but spacious enough for 2 people. Housekeeping would usually clean the cabin when we are out for the first dive daily. Coming back to a nice clean cabin after the dive was such a nice feeling. Boat's facilities included many sun decks, jacuzzi, gym, spa, bar, restaurant, etc. The dive dhoni was the most perfectly designed dive boat i've ever been on. Nitrox was complimentary for nitrox divers. There was ample space to keep our equipment in a box given to each diver. Hangers were provided to hang our wetsuits between dives. our gear was rinsed every night with fresh water. The Dhoni crew was very helpful, always helping in every way possible. Dive guide was very experienced, and knew the currents and dive sites inside out. Overall, it was a wonderful trip. I would definitely recommend, and would definitely return in the near future.

Great Experience!
Diving/Snorkeling - it was great that we (a diver and a non-diver) could both do what we wanted, see so much of the Maldives and still spend time together! The spa was fantastic! The staff and food on Scubaspa Yang were spectacular. We would definitely travel with Scubaspa again!

Magical Maldives aboard the ScubaSpa Ying
The whole team was secretly planning a birthday surprise for me! From the LiveAboard reservations team (Thank you Faye), to the ScubaSpa cruise manager (Thank you Mario!), to my wonderful dive master (Thank you Tinny!!) 😁 making for an absolutely woooonderful and magical trip!! I was surprised underwater and above water, we were blessed with giant manta rays and a bright rainbow ! We navigated through sun & rain, visited many wonderful dive sites, enjoyed super relaxing spa treatments, and made deep and lasting friendships ❤️⚓️🌊🐠☯️🧜🏽♀️
