The 50m Scubaspa Yang liveaboard is the sister vessel to the Scubaspa Ying, which offers year-round diving holidays in the Maldives. Winner of multiple awards, the Scubaspa Yang provides a truly luxurious diving experience in the Maldives. Up to 26 guests can be accommodated in 17 guest cabins (5 Manta Suites, 3 Dolphin Suites, 1 Cowrie Suite, 8 Sea Star Cabins). One suite and one cabin can be converted into a triple to accommodate 3 guests. All cabins feature en-suite bathrooms and individually controlled air conditioning. The 8 suites located on the main deck all offer panoramic sea views.
The restaurant is located on the main deck and serves three buffet-style meals, plus an à la carte menu. There are live cooking stations, and internationally qualified chefs cater to all dietary needs. There is also an alfresco dining area at the rear of the main deck, and there will be the opportunity to enjoy a BBQ on a deserted island during your stay. The onboard spa spans 300 m² and features 4 treatment rooms, including a double room designed for couples.
Diving from the Scubaspa Yang takes place from the accompanying dive dhoni, which carries all the necessary equipment, including air compressors, a nitrox filling station, rinse tanks, and dive equipment storage. Experienced multi-lingual dive instructors and divemasters can cater to all diving levels and abilities. As a PADI 5 Star Dive Resort, a variety of courses, from beginner to advanced, can be taken on board. Itineraries cover the ‘Best of Maldives’, which includes the Male Atolls, Ari Atolls, and Rasdhoo & Vaavu Atoll, and is available all year, except for February & March when the Scubaspa yacht travels to the ‘Deep South’ for more remote diving suited to more experienced divers.

Highly Recommend - We'll be Back!
Fantastic experience. Crew was unbelievable, diving was fantastic. Went with my fiance on her first liveaboard and she is sold. I would do this route again, with Scubaspa, in a heart beat. We will be back on Scubaspa next year on another route!

We had an incredible 5-day diving experience on the ScubaSpa Yang! The entire crew was not only welcoming but also dedicated to making our trip truly exclusive. Jim, in particular, went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, making us feel right at home. The diving team was equally fantastic. They were highly professional and made sure we felt completely safe at all times. Our guide, Ahu, was exceptional—attentive, knowledgeable, and always eager to share his expertise with us. Each dive was not only safe but full of fascinating insights into the underwater world. The pre-briefing sessions were also very helpful and insightfull to make the best of our experience. A perfect trip from start to finish! Highly recommended for anyone looking for an unforgettable diving experience yet very comfortable and relaxing, with great food and the nicest vibes. The LiveAboard team was also very accomodating and perfectly communicated with us from booking to arrival.

Simply Awesome
The diving was outstanding; close up encounters (I mean really close!) with mantas & sharks were truly incredible. Safety a key aspect and great dive planning with surface intervals well planned; dive guides very personal in their efforts. The meal plans and activities were simply wonderful; a BBQ on the beach and sundowner cocktails on a tiny island a stand out. Food was of the highest quality. Staff couldn't have been more helpful, friendly & accommodating. The cabins are comfortable and well appointed, couldn't have asked for a better trip to break the Covid captivity cycle !

A holiday of a lifetime
Being a learner diver, the diving was fantastic, all the dive leaders were so lovely & helpful, all the crew were friendly and generally lovely people. Food was delicious. Everything was taken care of, especially all the dive gear. Very safety conscious so felt safe all the time. The crew on the Dive boat always their to lend you a hand getting in & out of the water, sorted any problem you may have. The whole experience was a highlight, the night we were treated dinner on an island, felt like we were in a postcard, unbelievable. I could go on and on, we are a very lucky family to have had the experience.

Scubaspa Maldives has been, without question, the best liveaboard I have ever been on. From the moment you step on board, you feel welcomed, cared for, and completely spoiled. The staff is unbelievably friendly—every single person goes above and beyond to make your stay comfortable, memorable, and effortless. The boat itself is pure luxury. Everything is impeccably clean, beautifully maintained, and designed to make you feel like you’re on a floating boutique hotel rather than a traditional liveaboard. The common areas, the rooms, the spa, the decks… all flawless. The food deserves its own mention. There is a wide variety at every meal, and the quality is honestly exquisite. Fresh, flavourful, and prepared with so much care—you look forward to every single menu. As for the diving: exceptional. The dive guides are extremely experienced, capable, and attentive. You always feel safe and supported, whether it’s your first time in the Maldives or your hundredth. Their knowledge of the dive sites and currents is impressive, and every briefing is thorough and reassuring. If you want a luxury liveaboard experience that combines world-class diving with incredible hospitality, Scubaspa Maldives is truly unmatched. I can’t recommend it highly enough.

Scubaspa is a great live-first choice. The boat is very comfortable and spacious and the experience out of the water is fantastic. Very attentive staff and quality of the dive sites and dhoni.

Amazing week onboard and underwater
Night dive with nurse sharks is enough good reason to go there. Amazing marine life. Very experienced and friendly crew. Modern, spacious vessel with a lot of room to relax. Delicious food. Perfect balance between diving and rest.
