The 50m Scubaspa Yang liveaboard is the sister vessel to the Scubaspa Ying, which offers year-round diving holidays in the Maldives. Winner of multiple awards, the Scubaspa Yang provides a truly luxurious diving experience in the Maldives. Up to 36 guests can be accommodated in 17 guest cabins (5 Manta Suites, 3 Dolphin Suites, 1 Cowrie Suite, 8 Sea Star Cabins). One suite and one cabin can be converted into a triple to accommodate 3 guests. All cabins feature en-suite bathrooms and individually controlled air conditioning. The 8 suites located on the main deck all offer panoramic sea views.
The restaurant is located on the main deck and serves three buffet-style meals, plus an à la carte menu. There are live cooking stations, and internationally qualified chefs cater to all dietary needs. There is also an alfresco dining area at the rear of the main deck, and there will be the opportunity to enjoy a BBQ on a deserted island during your stay. The onboard spa spans 300 m² and features 4 treatment rooms, including a double room designed for couples.
Diving from the Scubaspa Yang takes place from the accompanying dive dhoni, which carries all the necessary equipment, including air compressors, a nitrox filling station, rinse tanks, and dive equipment storage. Experienced multi-lingual dive instructors and divemasters can cater to all diving levels and abilities. As a PADI 5 Star Dive Resort, a variety of courses, from beginner to advanced, can be taken on board. Itineraries cover the ‘Best of Maldives’, which includes the Male Atolls, Ari Atolls, and Rasdhoo & Vaavu Atoll, and is available all year, except for February & March when the Scubaspa yacht travels to the ‘Deep South’ for more remote diving suited to more experienced divers.

Liveaboard of dreams
Scubaspa Maldives has been, without question, the best liveaboard I have ever been on. From the moment you step on board, you feel welcomed, cared for, and completely spoiled. The staff is unbelievably friendly—every single person goes above and beyond to make your stay comfortable, memorable, and effortless. The boat itself is pure luxury. Everything is impeccably clean, beautifully maintained, and designed to make you feel like you’re on a floating boutique hotel rather than a traditional liveaboard. The common areas, the rooms, the spa, the decks… all flawless. The food deserves its own mention. There is a wide variety at every meal, and the quality is honestly exquisite. Fresh, flavourful, and prepared with so much care—you look forward to every single menu. As for the diving: exceptional. The dive guides are extremely experienced, capable, and attentive. You always feel safe and supported, whether it’s your first time in the Maldives or your hundredth. Their knowledge of the dive sites and currents is impressive, and every briefing is thorough and reassuring. If you want a luxury liveaboard experience that combines world-class diving with incredible hospitality, Scubaspa Maldives is truly unmatched. I can’t recommend it highly enough.

Cant get any better
Epic week and best experience of our lives so far. Everything was perfect from the boat itself all the way to the crew. Delicious and lots of varieties of food everyday. EXCELLENT diving, big thanks to TOKEN our dive guide, tick every boxes. 100% planning to repeat. Boat was 10/10 but crew 12/10 and what made the experience really amazing and an ever lasting memory! Living and Diving in the Lap of Luxury
As a tour company owner in the Canadian Rockies I know what it takes to run a smooth operation over the course of a trip. Scubaspa Yang was by far one of the best tour operations I have ever experienced. So much so I will be taking some of there ideas and ways to make guests feel like they are living in the lap of luxury the ENTIRE trip. Everything from the logistics, schedule, staff, food, safety of the guests, accommodations, cleanliness, spa treatments, yoga, layout of the boat, the dive boat, and beach adventures was above and beyond. Scubaspa Yang has set the new standard on how dive boats should all run. Could not have asked for a better exeprience! So much so that we were only booked for a 5 day trip but ended up cancelling our fancy villa stay to stay another few days on the boat instead. Liveaboard.com made it easy to book and extend the trip and also cannot thank them enough! Lastly, our cruise director (Branden) helped me arrange my underwater proposal to my now fiance and helped with a slew of logistics to do so. His customer service and expertise in everything shows why having a leader like him is essential to a smooth operation. Big big thanks to all the staff on Scubaspa Yang and liveaboard.com!

Excellent Dive Trip
This trip was one of the best we have ever done; we have been diving with 2 teens for the last 6 years, twice a year. The crew is excellent in every way including taking care of our teens. The Yang is a superb boat, like a mini cruise ship, with all the comfort and a dive tender that is very spacious for max 20 divers. We definitely recommend this trip and will likely return ourselves. Thanks!

The best of diving and luxury cruise worlds all in one
Diving route allowing to see manta rays, pelagic and sharks for my husband, and for me, a poor swimmer, the possibility to snorkel on top of a whale shark thanks to Mario, the best dive instructor to my eyes after this unexpected experience.

Experiência fantásticas nas Maldivas
Tivemos dias incríveis com o Scubaspa ying. Toda a tripulação é fantástica, cordial e atenciosa. Os instrutores de mergulho são muito bem preparados, inclusive para dar todo o suporte para os iniciantes. A programação é perfeita, com mergulhos e atrações na medida certa. Muito melhor do que se hospedar em qualquer resort da região.

Fab experience
My husband Graham who is a very experienced diver, loved the diving; the guides and areas explored were amazing. I enjoyed the spa treatments, so enjoyable and relaxing. I also enjoyed the yoga which l haven’t done before. Food was exceptional, great variety of drinks and the staff were all exceptional. The trip was everything promised. A 5 star hotel at sea.

Perfect 4 days
From the welcome at the airport, to the food, yoga, diving spots to the staff, it was a great experience. The dive sites were always well explained and the dive guides all made a very good impression. Ours was definitely very good. (We have already experienced this differently)
