The 50m Scubaspa Yang liveaboard is the sister vessel to the Scubaspa Ying, which offers year-round diving holidays in the Maldives. Winner of multiple awards, the Scubaspa Yang provides a truly luxurious diving experience in the Maldives. Up to 36 guests can be accommodated in 17 guest cabins (5 Manta Suites, 3 Dolphin Suites, 1 Cowrie Suite, 8 Sea Star Cabins). One suite and one cabin can be converted into a triple to accommodate 3 guests. All cabins feature en-suite bathrooms and individually controlled air conditioning. The 8 suites located on the main deck all offer panoramic sea views.
The restaurant is located on the main deck and serves three buffet-style meals, plus an à la carte menu. There are live cooking stations, and internationally qualified chefs cater to all dietary needs. There is also an alfresco dining area at the rear of the main deck, and there will be the opportunity to enjoy a BBQ on a deserted island during your stay. The onboard spa spans 300 m² and features 4 treatment rooms, including a double room designed for couples.
Diving from the Scubaspa Yang takes place from the accompanying dive dhoni, which carries all the necessary equipment, including air compressors, a nitrox filling station, rinse tanks, and dive equipment storage. Experienced multi-lingual dive instructors and divemasters can cater to all diving levels and abilities. As a PADI 5 Star Dive Resort, a variety of courses, from beginner to advanced, can be taken on board. Itineraries cover the ‘Best of Maldives’, which includes the Male Atolls, Ari Atolls, and Rasdhoo & Vaavu Atoll, and is available all year, except for February & March when the Scubaspa yacht travels to the ‘Deep South’ for more remote diving suited to more experienced divers.

World-Class Encounters Under the Waves: The diving was nothing short of extraordinary. The crew consistently put us on world-class sites, delivering the kind of marine life encounters that most divers only dream of. Every single dive felt like a page out of a documentary. We were spoiled with multiple, up-close encounters with majestic manta rays, breathtaking sightings of a whale shark, and exhilarating dives surrounded by various species of sharks and dozens of graceful eagle rays. Combined with the stunning health of the reefs—vibrant, beautiful, and teeming with life—it was a truly unforgettable underwater spectacle. Service, Comfort, and Those Perfect Details: The professionalism and friendliness of the crew were outstanding. From the beautifully set dining tables at every meal to the charming whaleshark drawn in the foam of our morning cappuccino, the crew's dedication to guest happiness shone through in every interaction. A Culinary Revelation for Vegans: As vegans, dining on a liveaboard can often be challenging, but the kitchen staff here delivered an absolutely fabulous culinary experience. They made the biggest effort to ensure we had varied, delicious, and exciting food for every single meal. We didn't just get a side salad; we were treated to creative, flavorful dishes that rivaled top-tier restaurants. Diving in a lap of luxury!
Loved it!! The diving was amazing and crew were so helpful. The Dhoni made it really easy to set out gear and get ready. The food was fabulous. I loved the massage that I could sneak it. Incredible sunsets. My husband, who doesnt dive, joined me to snorkel. He enjoyed being taken to isolated islands for nice lovely snorkels everyday. It was the ultimate in luxury and fun diving!!!

Exceeded expections!
Seeing Manta Rays and Hammerhead Sharks. The 2 Island parties and the dining on the open deck one night were a special touch that I enjoyed more than I expected.

The best of diving and luxury cruise worlds all in one
Diving route allowing to see manta rays, pelagic and sharks for my husband, and for me, a poor swimmer, the possibility to snorkel on top of a whale shark thanks to Mario, the best dive instructor to my eyes after this unexpected experience.

A most wonderful vacation with 17 diverse dives in pure luxury
so many things about this trip were just perfect, and I wish I could do it at least once a year and for at least 2 weeks. The natural setting combined with this exquisite boat and the excellent staff was just amazing. Fellow divers reminded me that there are lots of other beautiful dive spots to discover and great options in terms of liveaboards and resorts, but I can't imagine any will live up to the combination of awesomeness that I experienced on the ScubaSpa Yang.
