The 50m Scubaspa Yang liveaboard is the sister vessel to the Scubaspa Ying which offers year-round diving holidays in the Maldives. Winner of multiple awards, the Scubaspa Yang offers a true luxury diving experience in the Maldives. Up to 40 guests can be accommodated onboard in 10 cabins and 9 suites, of which there is a choice of queen, king, or twin bed configurations. One suite and one cabin can be converted into a triple to accommodate 3 guests. All cabins feature en-suite bathrooms and individually controlled air conditioning and the 9 suites located on the main deck all offer panoramic sea views.
The restaurant is located on the main deck and is where three buffet-style meals plus an a-la-carte menu are served. There are live cooking stations and internationally qualified chefs are able to cater to all dietary needs. There is also an alfresco dining area at the rear of the main deck and there will be the opportunity to enjoy a BBQ on a deserted island during your stay. The onboard spa is 300m2 with 6 treatment rooms, including a double room for couples.
Diving from the Scubaspa Yang takes place from the accompanying dive dhoni, which carries all the equipment, including the air compressors, nitrox filling station, rinse tanks, and dive equipment storage. Experienced multi-lingual dive instructors and divemasters can cater to all diving levels and abilities. As a PADI 5 Star Dive Resort, a variety of courses, from beginner to advanced can be taken on board. Itineraries cover the ‘Best of Maldives’, which includes the Male Atolls, Ari Atolls, and Rasdhoo & Vaavu Atoll, and is available all year, except for February & March when the Scubaspa yacht travels to the ‘Deep South’ for more remote diving suited to more experienced divers.

From the moment we stepped aboard until our reluctant departure, our liveaboard trip was, quite simply, the best dive vacation we have ever taken. This is more than a dive boat; it’s a floating haven where luxury, world-class diving, and impeccable service converge. If you are looking for the ultimate adventure delivered with genuine warmth and attention to detail, book this trip immediately. World-Class Encounters Under the Waves: The diving was nothing short of extraordinary. The crew consistently put us on world-class sites, delivering the kind of marine life encounters that most divers only dream of. Every single dive felt like a page out of a documentary. We were spoiled with multiple, up-close encounters with majestic manta rays, breathtaking sightings of a whale shark, and exhilarating dives surrounded by various species of sharks and dozens of graceful eagle rays. Combined with the stunning health of the reefs—vibrant, beautiful, and teeming with life—it was a truly unforgettable underwater spectacle. Service, Comfort, and Those Perfect Details: The professionalism and friendliness of the crew were outstanding. They managed to be highly professional and safety-conscious while making us feel like family. Beyond the diving, the ship itself felt like a boutique hotel. Our cabins were spacious and incredibly comfortable, providing the perfect retreat after a long day of diving. But it was the little details that elevated the experience into pure luxury. From the beautifully set dining tables at every meal to the charming whaleshark drawn in the foam of our morning cappuccino, the crew's dedication to guest happiness shone through in every interaction. A Culinary Revelation for Vegans: As vegans, dining on a liveaboard can often be challenging, but the kitchen staff here delivered an absolutely fabulous culinary experience. They made the biggest effort to ensure we had varied, delicious, and exciting food for every single meal. We didn't just get a side salad; we were treated to creative, flavorful dishes that rivaled top-tier restaurants. Their dedication went far beyond expectation, making the food a true highlight of the entire trip. Final Verdict: This liveaboard sets the gold standard for dive travel. Living and Diving in the Lap of Luxury
As a tour company owner in the Canadian Rockies I know what it takes to run a smooth operation over the course of a trip. Scubaspa Yang was by far one of the best tour operations I have ever experienced. So much so I will be taking some of there ideas and ways to make guests feel like they are living in the lap of luxury the ENTIRE trip. Everything from the logistics, schedule, staff, food, safety of the guests, accommodations, cleanliness, spa treatments, yoga, layout of the boat, the dive boat, and beach adventures was above and beyond. Scubaspa Yang has set the new standard on how dive boats should all run. Could not have asked for a better exeprience! So much so that we were only booked for a 5 day trip but ended up cancelling our fancy villa stay to stay another few days on the boat instead. Liveaboard.com made it easy to book and extend the trip and also cannot thank them enough! Lastly, our cruise director (Branden) helped me arrange my underwater proposal to my now fiance and helped with a slew of logistics to do so. Scubaspa is a great live-first choice. The boat is very comfortable and spacious and the experience out of the water is fantastic. Very attentive staff and quality of the dive sites and dhoni.

We'd Do It Again!
Great crew - very personable and caring. Dive sites were very good. Condition of boat was very good, and dining and spa facilities were first class. Felt like we were on a high class yacht at a much lower cost and with very amiable casual atmosphere. Had lots of fun dancing and relaxing on a couple of nights when we weren't going diving early the next day.

Best liveaboard experience in 20 years
The boat is more like a luxury hotel, with large, clean rooms and bathrooms. The staff were extremely professional, anticipated every need ahead of time and went above and beyond, to make this a five star experience! Food was fantastic and the dive experience with the dedicated guides was the best in my 20 years of liveaboard diving with a variety of companies around the world.
