The 50m Scubaspa Yang liveaboard is the sister vessel to the Scubaspa Ying, which offers year-round diving holidays in the Maldives. Winner of multiple awards, the Scubaspa Yang provides a truly luxurious diving experience in the Maldives. Up to 36 guests can be accommodated in 17 guest cabins (5 Manta Suites, 3 Dolphin Suites, 1 Cowrie Suite, 8 Sea Star Cabins). One suite and one cabin can be converted into a triple to accommodate 3 guests. All cabins feature en-suite bathrooms and individually controlled air conditioning. The 8 suites located on the main deck all offer panoramic sea views.
The restaurant is located on the main deck and serves three buffet-style meals, plus an à la carte menu. There are live cooking stations, and internationally qualified chefs cater to all dietary needs. There is also an alfresco dining area at the rear of the main deck, and there will be the opportunity to enjoy a BBQ on a deserted island during your stay. The onboard spa spans 300 m² and features 4 treatment rooms, including a double room designed for couples.
Diving from the Scubaspa Yang takes place from the accompanying dive dhoni, which carries all the necessary equipment, including air compressors, a nitrox filling station, rinse tanks, and dive equipment storage. Experienced multi-lingual dive instructors and divemasters can cater to all diving levels and abilities. As a PADI 5 Star Dive Resort, a variety of courses, from beginner to advanced, can be taken on board. Itineraries cover the ‘Best of Maldives’, which includes the Male Atolls, Ari Atolls, and Rasdhoo & Vaavu Atoll, and is available all year, except for February & March when the Scubaspa yacht travels to the ‘Deep South’ for more remote diving suited to more experienced divers.

From the moment we stepped aboard until our reluctant departure, our liveaboard trip was, quite simply, the best dive vacation we have ever taken. World-Class Encounters Under the Waves: The diving was nothing short of extraordinary. The crew consistently put us on world-class sites, delivering the kind of marine life encounters that most divers only dream of. Every single dive felt like a page out of a documentary. We were spoiled with multiple, up-close encounters with majestic manta rays, breathtaking sightings of a whale shark, and exhilarating dives surrounded by various species of sharks and dozens of graceful eagle rays. Combined with the stunning health of the reefs—vibrant, beautiful, and teeming with life—it was a truly unforgettable underwater spectacle. Service, Comfort, and Those Perfect Details: The professionalism and friendliness of the crew were outstanding. They managed to be highly professional and safety-conscious while making us feel like family. Beyond the diving, the ship itself felt like a boutique hotel. From the beautifully set dining tables at every meal to the charming whaleshark drawn in the foam of our morning cappuccino, the crew's dedication to guest happiness shone through in every interaction. A Culinary Revelation for Vegans: As vegans, dining on a liveaboard can often be challenging, but the kitchen staff here delivered an absolutely fabulous culinary experience. They made the biggest effort to ensure we had varied, delicious, and exciting food for every single meal. We didn't just get a side salad; we were treated to creative, flavorful dishes that rivaled top-tier restaurants. Their dedication went far beyond expectation, making the food a true highlight of the entire trip. Final Verdict: This liveaboard sets the gold standard for dive travel. Diving in a lap of luxury!
Loved it!! The diving was amazing and crew were so helpful. The Dhoni made it really easy to set out gear and get ready. The food was fabulous. I loved the massage that I could sneak it. Incredible sunsets. My husband, who doesnt dive, joined me to snorkel. He enjoyed being taken to isolated islands for nice lovely snorkels everyday. It was the ultimate in luxury and fun diving!!!

From the welcome at the airport, to the food, yoga, diving spots to the staff, it was a great experience. The dive sites were always well explained and the dive guides all made a very good impression. Ours was definitely very good. (We have already experienced this differently)

Awesome diving experience in perfect ambience
Beautiful boat and awesome crew. Simon, Laura and Tristan were the perfect Boat directors and very interested in our safety and personal well-being. We felt very welcome all the time and always had someone around for a nice chat. The dive teachers Mox and Wishoo are very experienced and know every dive spot by heart. We had a stunning trip and loved every minute of it. The highlights were the BBQ on a private island - so beautiful! So as the night dive surrounded by hundreds of sharks. Also the diving spots were well chosen, every single one had its own speciality. Food and service were amazing too, we could ask for everything anytime. We do definitely recommend the Scubaspa Ying experience and will come back for our next diving adventure! Thanks to the whole crew for the great trip!

Exceptional and luxurious liveaboard
Fantastic boat with very comfortable and plush furniture. The boat even has a mini gym! Very good food on board with a variety of cuisine. Diving itinerary was great and it showed the highlights even for the shorter 5D4N trip. Food was very good with fresh produce and very good presentation.

Night dive with nurse sharks is enough good reason to go there. Amazing marine life. Very experienced and friendly crew. Modern, spacious vessel with a lot of room to relax. Delicious food. Perfect balance between diving and rest.

We have not been to a liveabord trip before, but this trip was more amazing then we had ever imagin. The crew is so professional and helpful, food is so delicious and the cabins are fantastic. So much space on the boat and the boat has everything you need. We did only snorkling, and the crew showed us the best places to go. We also tryed 8 spa treatments and the spa crew are very professional and you can choose from a long list of treatments. You have everything you need for an vacation in Paradise! Recommend this boat to evryone!
