Highlights
The Sachika liveaboard, by Top Class Cruising, is a 33-meter/108-feet custom-built liveaboard that has been Awarded the “Best Dive Safari Boat’’by the National Boating Association of the Maldives for two editions. The Sachika has 10 cabins, including 3 suites, 1 junior suite, 4 standard double or twin cabins, and 2 twin cabins, catering to 22 guests. Each cabin has an air conditioner, en-suite bathroom, mini-bar, and private entertainment hubs. The sundeck with its jacuzzi is perfect for relaxation between dives and stargazing at night. Meals are served in the A/C restaurant, and guests can sip on some tasty cocktails while lounging on the aft deck. The trailing dhoni (a traditional Maldivian vessel) is used for diving and keeping all the tanks and compressors separate so travelers can sleep. A full snorkeling itinerary for non-divers includes activities like fishing, beach visits, and treks.
Aboard the Sachika, guests will cruise through central and deep south atolls and dive at Male Atolls, Rasdhoo, Meemu, and Ari Atolls. The cruise sets out to the south with the exploration of a trawler that sank three decades ago and became a home for the local needlefish and scorpionfish. In the western part of the atoll, it is easy to meet manta rays coming close to the reef to enjoy the many cleaning stations. The sea is rich in marine life and is full of whale sharks, scorpion fish, glassfish, reef sharks, Napoleon wrasse, green turtles, beautiful corals, dolphins, and more.

BEST LIVEABOARD EXPERIENCE EVER
GREAT experience that we will repeat for sure!! The Sachika staff and dive instructors did their best all the time and made our trip just easy, comfortable, and unforgettable. The boat is nice, clean and offers different spaces to accommodate the needs of each one of the passengers at any time (an upper deck to sunbathe, spa with views, a middle deck with a bar and chill out space, etc). Also rooms are spacious and have nice extras such as soap, hairdryer or towels for the shower and for the beach. The food is fresh and has a perfect Italian style. Also for every meal we all had plenty of it and with a great variety. We chose the central route because of the diversity in dives and the large number of different species that one can spot in the different dive sites. We were not lucky at all with the whale shark, but we had other amazing encounters with reef sharks, nurse sharks (the night dive at the Alimatha Jetty is just crazy), mantas, and many other animals (rays, turtles, tunas, napoleons, etc). Extra dives are highly recommended and they do not throw your money away at all. Visibility was great (we went during the first week of April) and currents were not so strong or there were no currents at all. We rent most of the equipment, which was pretty well, and used Nitrox for all our dives. We had sun every day and really felt like being in paradise! The activities apart from diving were also nice and well-organized and we enjoyed every minute of them. We could not mind repeating the exact same route at all! Really, we highly recommend you book your trip with Sachika! You will feel the difference.

So much fun!
Every dive was a shark dive! It was amazing. The boat is fantastic, with lots of space to relax and excellent cabins. The crew was always helpful when we needed them. The food was good, the dining area was nice, and the hangout spots were good too. Just wish the hot tub was hot.

Amazing Maldives on Sachika
The trip was wonderful. The boat is big and clean and the staff is fantastic. The manager (Giacomo) behave as a co-traveler more than a manager and this creates a friendly atmosphere but never compromising on professionality. The crew is always smiling, frinedly but descrete. The cabin was a bit dark but in any case you don't want to spend much time in the cabin. All other facilities are great. And of course the quality of the dives is superb!

Great manta week!
It was a manta week! We absolutely loved the manta point dive as a "check out" dive and being lucky enough to experience more mantas randomly throughout the trip and also the manta extra night dive! That is a must do! The boat is quite nice and comfortable, our suite room was perfect and always cleaned to perfection. We were amazed with how many new things we could tick off our diving bucket list and although the weather was not ideal, was definitely worth the trip! Thanks guys!

Always beyond our best expectations
In our trip in Sachika boat, everything went perfect but the weather. Giacomo and the dive masters were the best: kind, helpful, and very professional. They take care of every small problem with a smile, making us feel at home from the first day The ship is in peak condition, so clean, and taken care off that it looks new. Much better than pictures, where usually is the contrary. Cabin was big and clean, with plenty space and an comfortable individual bathroom, also carefully cleaned. And food, food was amazing. Every meal was a buffet with plenty of choices, although since all were delicious, you usually end up eating much more than anticipated. Overall, when I come back to Maldives, I’ll definitely will be back with Giacomo and his crew. Thank you very much for the best diving week of our lives.
