The Sachika liveaboard, by Top Class Cruising, is a 33-meter/108-feet custom-built liveaboard that has been awarded the “Best Dive Safari Boat " by the National Boating Association of the Maldives for two editions. The Sachika has 10 cabins, including 3 suites, 1 junior suite, 4 standard double or twin cabins, and 2 twin cabins, catering to 22 guests. Each cabin has an air conditioner, en-suite bathroom, mini-bar, and private entertainment hubs.

The sundeck with its jacuzzi is perfect for relaxation between dives and stargazing at night. Meals are served in the A/C restaurant, and guests can sip on some tasty cocktails while lounging on the aft deck. The trailing dhoni (a traditional Maldivian vessel) is used for diving and keeping all the tanks and compressors separate, so travelers can sleep. A full snorkeling itinerary for non-divers includes activities like fishing, beach visits, and treks.

Aboard the Sachika, guests will cruise through the central and deep south atolls and dive at the Malé Atolls, Rasdhoo, Meemu, and Ari Atolls. The cruise sets out to the south with the exploration of a trawler that sank three decades ago and became a home for the local needlefish and scorpionfish. In the western part of the atoll, it is easy to meet manta rays coming close to the reef to enjoy the many cleaning stations. The sea is rich in marine life, home to whale sharks, scorpionfish, glassfish, reef sharks, Napoleon wrasse, green turtles, beautiful corals, dolphins, and more.

This is my first dive trip. The room was clean. Food was delicious. We see manta, shark... Its amazing. However, Divers' abilities vary greatly. We have people within 20dives, but also people that are instructor level. Making it difficuit to dive with people with simular level. But overall the dives are grate and it was a once in a lifetime experience.

Fantastic Dive Charter with Mantas and Sharks (the nice ones)
Sachika is a great diving charter. The boat has warm character and the crew make it truly special. Love the after dinner Molinari. Sachika is a great liveaboard
I had an amazing experience. I have been on liveaboards all over the world and this was one of my favorites in terms of the dive itinerary. The ship was well kept, the staff was friendly and helpful (esp. Hassan & Bebe), and the food was amazing. We also had a lovely mix of divers from all over the world and I can't say enough about how much I enjoyed my trip!

Wonderful Liveaboard!
The boat was gorgeous and the staff were so patient and friendly with all of us. Special shoutout to the chef who very kindly made me a passionfruit mousse on the last day because it was absolutely delicious when I tried it on the second day. All the dive guides and dhoni boat staff were so kind and patient with a rookie like me, so incredibly grateful for their help. All of the staff really did everything possible to make the stay incredibly comfortable for each of us, rooms were tidied twice a day!

we saw them all: Mantas, Stingrays, Eagle-Rays, Turtles, Baracudas, Napoleons, all sorts of Sharks and even a whale shark - and all in a very calm, professional and relaxing atmosphere where also beginners always felt save and experienced divers didn't feel restricted. Also room for non-divers and snorklers. Had a GREAT time!

Life changing experience
The whole trip was fantastic. Martina welcomes you with a huge smile making you feel at ease from the start. The boat is exceptional. Clean, comfortable. Food is a par above. The diving has ruined me for my next trip. Amazing!!!!! But the crew really made the difference. I felt at home for my two weeks and well taken cared for. Comfortable and welcoming liveaboard experiences thrilling dives
One of the highlights was definitely the amazing dive sites that the boat took us to, where we saw all kinds of oceanic species such as manta rays, eagle rays, bull shark, guitar shark, hammer-head shark, just to name a few. Another highlight was a BBQ dinner on an uninhabited island, where they arranged a surprise celebration of my engagement with a cake! I also see that the social function that they host at night such as karaoke night and dance night made it easier to socialize with other people on the cruise and helped form great memories on the cruise.

Sachika Liveaboard: Luxurious Boat, Delicious Food, Unbelievable Diving, & Absoluetly Amazing Crew = MAGICAL EXPERIENCE
I have been on 2 separate liveaboards (Australia & Thailand) prior to boarding the Sachika for the “Deep South” itinerary February 19-26, 2022. This liveaboard blew my mind and FAR exceeded all of my expectations! The Boat: LUXURIOUS!! The beautiful suite had windows that opened, air conditioning when needed, a spacious vanity, & a large bathroom. The daily turndown service and fresh towels mid-trip made me feel like we were in a luxury resort instead of on a boat. The dining room was the perfect size for both the buffet meals and all the dive briefings. The sundeck was huge with many lounge chairs, and partially shaded so that you could escape the sun if needed. I was surprised that I was able to get wi-fi on the boat (small extra fee but definitely worth it). It was incredible to be able to skype with our kids from halfway around the world. **They also have a huge light off the back of the boat that attracts TONS of plankton. The very first night we had a whale shark happily eating plankton while we snorkeled around her in awe! One morning before sunrise, we awoke to find dozens of mobula rays snacking on plankton. We asked the crew if we could get in and snorkel and they told us we had 20 mins before the boat moved…so of course we jumped in and loved the experience of snorkeling with these amazing creatures. The Food: DELICIOUS!! Buffet every meal with plenty of options and varieties of foods, including vegetarian, gluten-free, and normal food for all of us regular food lovers. I loved the fresh ahi, all the deliciously cooked veggies (zucchini, squash, mushrooms, broccoli, cauliflower, etc.), delicious pastas, lasagnas, and lots of new foods I’d never tried before! For breakfast, they let us choose our eggs made to order. They always had fresh juice, tea, coffee, & water. I was so happy that we chose this boat, as this was the first liveaboard where I actually LOVED the food. The Diving: UNBELIEVABLE!! Luckily I had read a review suggesting we bring reef hooks for the intense “Deep South” currents, and we were thankful we had our own. Sharks, Sharks, Sharks…It never got old seeing all the different types of sharks (Tiger, Oceanic, Grey, Spinner, Guitar, & Whale). Unfortunately, the hammerheads & leopard sharks eluded us this trip. However, we saw many other amazing things: a marble ray, cowtail and whiptail stingrays, eagle rays, a torpedo ray, dozens of turtles, beautiful reef and coral, TONS of fish, a huge school of barracuda, eels, many Napoleon wrasse, vibrant colored clams, scorpion fish, flounders, garden eels, dolphins, and even a couple of nudibranches!! After diving one day, we were very lucky to have the rare experience to see whales near the Sachika! The Crew: ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! Martina, the cruise manager, has succeeded in creating the perfect liveaboard. She was able to get my husband Nitrox Certified and added a night dive to the itinerary (per our request) for everyone. At the end of the trip she made each guest a personalized Sachika liveaboard itinerary, in color and complete with names of all our dive sites and pictures of the pelagics we saw on those dives. On top of that, she even compiled several of our videos, as well as those from some of the other guests, for a special Sachika Liveaboard Video to help us all remember our extraordinary dive trip! The boat was always clean, and our dive preparation always went smoothly due to the Dohni crew who constantly refilled our tanks and helped us prep for each of our 3 dives per day. It was a lovely experience to get to know the crew and other divers from around the world. I was truly sad when our magical trip came to an end. I hope to someday get to travel to the Maldives again and do the central atoll itinerary with them :)

Well there are not enough positive words to write to explain how perfect this boat and crew are, but I will try! A live aboard experience can easily be judged by the sightings, but this is nature and not an on-call check list. Saying that, we felt our diving was phenomenal, seeing 13 different species of shark over 10 days! The crew definitely got us to the right spots and gave us the best chances of seeing what we came for (March 2024). So the boat, the crew, Martine! Incredible attention to detail in both presentation and service. Sachika is a lovely boat, clean and spacious. The rooms are some of the biggest I have experienced on a live aboard dive boat. The outdoor spaces were perfect for relaxation with plenty of good shaded area and the back deck with bar was perfect for sundowners. Every member of the crew gave 100% every day. The food was varied and catered to all dietary requirements, giving a nice balance between local and international cuisine. The home made donuts were the best! The dive instructors (Ali, Atti & Claudio) are fish in water. Exceptional spotting skills of all things big and small. Very responsible but also allowing for fun in the water. A great team! And then there is Martine, full of bubble, smiles, kindness and fun. She kept everything together and running smoothly. An absolute asset to Sachika and Top Class Cruising. Our trip was spot on in every way. No hesitation on recommending Sachika for diving (especially in the south), I hope to go back and do it all again!

Really Wild Deep South on Sachika with plenty of Big Stuff!
We had a good time on Sachika. The boat is in good shape even if there is a lot of traditional dark wood everywhere. Everything worked fine. The dives with tiger sharks on the Tiger Wall was a proper highlight, as well as the encounters with eagle rays, whale sharks, and manta rays.

This was a great trip. The weather conditions were challenging, often with rainy and windy conditions, but the crew adjusted the schedule so that we got the most out of our trip. Given the conditions, the diving was excellent with a variety of abundant marine life including sharks, turtles, octopus, and reef fishes. Absolute highlights were the two night dives with mantas and sharks. Seeing mantas that close up and personal was an experience of a lifetime. Fortunately, the weather conditions allowed for a fantastic barbecue on the beach under a start-light sky with awesome food, drinks, and a sand sculptured whale shark! All in all a great experience!

Best of Central Maldives - an all-round super experience!
Sachika is a 20 year old boat but has more than enough amenities and space to satisfy for a week of diving, which is what you are there for [fantastic marine life presentations onboard added to the interest and value of the dives - which can be considered high praise from someone who has delivered countless presentations working as a diver]. Most importantly was the attention to detail regarding safety, quality of diving/guides and the service from all staff; which was absolutely outstanding - starting with Martina taking care of me at the airport [Martina actually works on Princess Maani] to the attention to detail on the dives & support from crew on the dive dhoni. Service crew onboard were wonderful & even if we had not seen the incredible marine life we did on most of the dives [more than one 12+ fever of eagle ray, dozens of sharks & the amazing Manta ray experiences on four of the dives], they would have made the trip worthwhile. Great set of fellow guests/divers onboard for my trip & super atmosphere. Special mention must be given to Moksh, Hassan and Luigi who are outstanding people and boat manager/dive guides - 'No problem!'

I have been on other live-aboards before and I can appreciate the wonderful atmosphere there: in addition to taking personal care that the dives meet our expectations, they ensure that the time on the boat is always of quality, with sympathy, good humor and cordiality. It has been the perfect combination: a vacation in which I was able to practice exceptional diving in a privileged environment with extraordinary people who made me feel as if every day was a party.
