The MY Princess Handy is a 36m Maldivian constructed liveaboard offering trips around the magnificent Maldives.
Recently renovated in 2014, the M/Y Princess Handy Liveaboard has 11 elegantly furnished air-conditioned cabins with en-suite bathrooms. The MY Princess Handy Liveaboard has 3 sun decks, one of which has a jacuzzi/hot tub, so plenty of space for relaxation in between diving. The M/Y Princess Handy Liveaboard also has an on board wellness centre for further relaxation, and an on board Pastry Chef for when you are hungry throughout the day. There is an indoor salon with a TV, DVD player and stereo system, and also indoor and outdoor dining areas.

a wonder-filled trip
Diving from liveaboard used to be hectic but not on this is. The balance of diving and chilling was just right. Every dive was not without some delights (more on pelagics and sometimes macro) and so are the meals. Hard to come by was there were good companies on board and I got the cabin to myself when I thought I will be sharing with a stranger. All in all it was a great trip!

Amazing cruise , nice dives the only bad thing was the lake of international guest , most or nearly all of them were italian same for the divesmaster so it’s better to speak or learn italian quickly ! ;)

Great diving and fun trip
It was our first liveaboard experience and it was great. The rooms were nice and comfortable, foods was great with good variety, the crew was fun and helpful also. Definitely an excellent experience for first timers and we will for sure recommend to our friends.

Great experience and service, but the boat needs a cabins refurbishment
It was a great experience to sea the best of Maldives with their colorful corals and fishes. The rhythm on board is defined by 3 tasty and abundant meals, breakfast, lunch and dinner, mostly prepared according to Italian receipts. 2 dives per day ("only" 2 but long dives 40-60min with a optimal diving profile), plus one night dive during the week, and parallel guided snorkeling for those who don't dive. 1 beach stop every day, important for non divers. Service is very good. Crew is friendly and helpful; dive guides are competent and accomodating. A dhoni is bringing you on the spot, plus a small dinghy for touching land. (p.s. The boats accepts babies on board which was fundamental for us) During the dives we saw most of what we were hoping for, including many reef sharks, nurse sharks, mantas, turtles, dolphins and one whale shark. The negative note is about the boat. Our main issue were the staterooms which smelled very bad and were quite noisy: in the start a strong smell of fuel and motor oil. Then a mix of dirt, humidity and fuel again from time to time. When we came back home we had to wash twice everything in the luggage and still we can smell the cabin. In general it is not a luxury cruise as described but the Princess Handy could be a real nice boat after a refurbishment. Cruise speed is also limited, less than 7 knots, making connections quite slow.

Fantastic Maldives Experience
An amazing all round experience! The dive guides and boat crew really made this trip come alive. The dive staff were experienced, friendly and really knew the best spots and times to dive. We saw Reef sharks, Manta Rays, Morays, Turtles, Eagle Rays, Lion fish, Dolphins, Nurse Sharks and many beautiful coral gardens. The boat staff really went out of their way to anticipate our needs and accommodate dietary requirements for meals. The boat and cabins are spacious and there's plenty of places to chill out in the sun (or shade). Our only disappointment was that the hot tub on the top deck had broken down... But really not that big a problem given the gorgeous 31 deg water!
