Amazing time with Manta cruise

The manta cruise was a very comfortable and enjoyable liveaboard experience. Not only are the dive guides very knowledgeable about the dive sites, they are also very friendly and fun. The entire crew on board was very helpful and friendly. The trip as a result was really good especially since the sea life we saw was amazing. The dive guides' knowledge definitely helped spot good sea life and for most of the dives, we were able to dive without other divers from other boats. I would definitely recommend this boat to anyone planning to go to the Maldives. Only thing to watch out is to be very clear on the equipment you need to rent on board - using the special requests column for every equipment not mentioned in the form is a must.

AMAZING

Awesome dives, some of them a bit challenging but we've always been helped by our guide Chacha, very professional, friendly and caring. Detailed briefings and interesting presentation on mantas by Cruise Director Thomas, who is also very friendly and helpful and did a fabulous video of the whole trip. Focus on safety really appreciated. Captain and crew always helpful, boat very nice and comfortable (particularly appreciated comfort and space on the Dhoni). Food amazing, chef so kind as to provide alternatives for special dietary needs. Very nice sunset and dinner on a small desert island.

South trip is different, had same amazing experience but am not a channel dive fan

If you like channel dives, then going the south route is for you. You dive mostly channels (hit big or miss, shorter dives). But the best sightings we had were outside of the channel. I was with another boat 2x before and I personally liked the dives sites in the south+north atolls better. However, the whale sharks and later mantas at Foarmulah were to die for. Food was good enough to gain a few pounds. There are 2 improvements I would make: have divemasters with better knowledge of the local dive sites (cruise director knew them and gave very detailed briefings and has been very active in pointing things out under water - the other divemasters didn't have the experience - however, I have to say, they were all very safety oriented, whcih we all appreciated), AC in the room is either full on or off (just like the other boat I was on) - not sure why this is so hard to figure out. There are some dive sites where you can see devastating effects of global warming.

Some awesome dive sites (saw 4 whale sharks together, multiple mantas, tiger shark, thresher shark), friendly and accommodating crew,
