Highlights
The 36m Horizon 3 liveaboard caters to 25 guests in 12 en-suite cabins. Cabins are tastefully decorated with ample storage space, AC, and either twin or double beds. Guests can choose from Standard, Deluxe, or Master Deluxe Cabins. Social areas include the indoor lounge, dining and bar areas, entertainment spaces, and a board game area. Meals are served in the indoor or outdoor dining area, offering stunning panoramic views. A wide variety of food is freshly prepared, and special dietary requests can be catered to with advance notice. For relaxation, guests can choose the sun deck, complete with loungers, mattresses, and a hot tub, or unwind with a therapeutic massage from the onboard masseuse. Guests can feel comfortable leaving their high-tech equipment on board, as security cameras are stationed throughout the vessel for maximum security.
Diving with the Horizon 3 yacht takes place from the dedicated 18m support dhoni, which features a crew of 3, camera rinsing facilities, set-up stations, a dive kitting-up area, and nitrox available for those certified. The dhoni is large enough to support more than 30 divers, leaving ample space for everyone to get kitted up and for gear storage. There is an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) on board the dhoni.
Cruises vary from 7 - 14 nights and explore the central, northern, and southern atolls. Trips offer the chance to see manta rays, reef sharks, eagle rays, stingrays, turtles, and even whale sharks. The crew and dive guides of the Horizon III liveaboard are among the most experienced in the Maldives, boasting over 15 years of experience diving in the region. They know all the best spots to escape the crowds. The captain has over 30 years of experience in the Maldives, so you can rest assured that you will visit some of the best areas based on the local conditions.

It's all worth it
I came here to celebrate my birthday, and while the trip started off a bit slow, it just kept getting better with each day. The absolute highlight was spotting a whale shark right beneath me while snorkeling an unforgettable! The crew and guides were fantastic, always friendly and helpful,my dive guide cha cha is like an aquaman once we are off the boat. I’d love to come back again truly a great adventure!

Amazing Liveaboard Trip
We have spent a week on the Blue Horizon III as a couple. But you could also join the boat as a single traveler because you get to know so many people from all over the world. The diving was also very nice. We have been on different places and saw amazing things just line sharks, mantas, many many different fishes, octopus, scorpion fish and many many more. Between the dives and the food you can have a chat or take a good rest in your comfy room or somewhere else on the boat. We loved this week and would book a trip with the Horizon Blue again.

Diving in the Maldives is always an adventure and a great pleasure! Even if the Horizon 3 is not the newest boat and they could do some more maintenance work ( f.e. on the Dhoni and the sunbeds ) the crew was a big gift. Maa‘dhu as the Cruise Director was always keeping up the good spirit on Board and Cha Cha as a Guide did a great job. Also the rest of the crew was always friendly and did a good job!The briefing was great and in detail and the diving often a very good lesson to improve your currents and channel diving skills. The guides tried very hard to make us see everything: all kind of sharks including lemonsharks, lepardsharks and tiger sharks 🥰 and whalesharks and also the healthy corals of the Deep South.It was a great pleasure having such experienced and locals guides!

Besides the „Big stuf“ they also showed us the beautiful corals in the deep South of Maldives.. The kitchen did a great job too. The food was tasty and even adapted for vegetarians 😊.

I would definitely return – in fact, I will return to this boat!
I've been on several liveaboard safaris and have logged hundreds of dives, but this was my first trip to the Maldives. In terms of value for money, this was by far the best trip I've ever been on. Boat,cabin: Absolutely fine for the price – air-conditioned and clean. Comfortable places to rest! Dhoni was also very very spacios with sundeck. Crew: Exceptionally friendly, approachable, helpful in every way, funny, and professional. Food: Snacks were available throughout the day, unlimited drinking water, breakfast was buffet-style and also had made-to-order options for breakfast eggs. Lunch and dinner were served buffet-style. Drinks were available for a reasonable price (wine, beer, cocktails, soft drinks, etc.). I will truly miss this part – nowhere else I've been has offered such delicious food. Everything was fresh, a mix of local and international dishes – I absolutely loved it! Special thanks to the guys at the bar and for the chef for sharing some of the recipes! Tour guide and dive guides: Professional, patient, quick to assess the current conditions and adapt as needed. Incredible attitude – they really made the most out of every dive site. Our manta dive and shark feeding experiences were absolutely breathtaking! Special thanks to Shasha and Madhu (hope I spelled their names correctly). I would definitely return – in fact, I will return to this boat!

What a wonderful days with Horizon 3
우선 제가 배에 탑승 전 많은 질문을 이메일로 보냈었는데 liveaboard 측의 빠른 회신과 안내가 정말 좋았어요. 우리팀을 맡아주었던 다이빙 가이드 Yuri는 정말 경험 많고 든든하고 매너 좋고 정이 많은 사람이예요. 저는 이번 여행을 계기로 다이빙의 매력에 푹 빠졌습니다. 저는 김치 없이 못사는 한국인이라 햇반에 라면과 김치도 가져갔는데 여럿이 나눠먹기도 하고 참 좋았습니다. ㅎㅎ 배에 모든 직원들이 참 친절해요. 딱 한가지 조금 신경쓰였던건 연초담배를 많이 피우는데 그건 제가 이해합니다. 왜냐하면 직원들의 몇 없는 낙이니까요... 그래도 좋았던 것들에 비하면 이건 극히 작은 부분입니다. 저는 강력추천합니다. I have been to Maldives many times. However, this trip with Horizon 3 was special and it will be an unforgettable memory in my life. Mostly i really appreciate our team dive guide Yuri and the rest of the crew. Diving: Yuri who's very experienced and thoughtful dive guide, always kept an eye on us and gave us the help we needed at the right time. We've met a bit of a strong current once, but with his help, we were always relieved. And I fell in love with diving through this trip. He took good care of our team until the end. Diving equipment: I rented all diving equipment. There were no problems. Food and Housekeeping : All crews at Horizon 3 were very friendly. Meals and snacks provided three times a day were more or less satisfactory, but served menu in a similar pattern. I prepared extra food and snacks myself That was a great idea. Because 7 nights are not that short. However, the fish barbecue on the island was really good. Housekeeping was comfortable even in a really humid environment as the room was cleaned several times a day and the towels were changed. The time I spent with Horizon 3 was really happy. Thanks to everyone. I highly recommend. You won't regret it with them!!
