Highlights
The 36m Horizon 3 liveaboard caters to 25 guests in 12 en-suite cabins. Cabins are tastefully decorated with ample storage space, AC, and either twin or double beds. Guests can choose from Standard, Deluxe, or Master Deluxe Cabins. Social areas include the indoor lounge, dining and bar areas, entertainment spaces, and a board game area. Meals are served in the indoor or outdoor dining area, offering stunning panoramic views. A wide variety of food is freshly prepared, and special dietary requests can be catered to with advance notice. For relaxation, guests can choose the sun deck, complete with loungers, mattresses, and a hot tub, or unwind with a therapeutic massage from the onboard masseuse. Guests can feel comfortable leaving their high-tech equipment on board, as security cameras are stationed throughout the vessel for maximum security.
Diving with the Horizon 3 yacht takes place from the dedicated 18m support dhoni, which features a crew of 3, camera rinsing facilities, set-up stations, a dive kitting-up area, and nitrox available for those certified. The dhoni is large enough to support more than 30 divers, leaving ample space for everyone to get kitted up and for gear storage. There is an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) on board the dhoni.
Cruises vary from 7 - 14 nights and explore the central, northern, and southern atolls. Trips offer the chance to see manta rays, reef sharks, eagle rays, stingrays, turtles, and even whale sharks. The crew and dive guides of the Horizon III liveaboard are among the most experienced in the Maldives, boasting over 15 years of experience diving in the region. They know all the best spots to escape the crowds. Great liveaboard experience with limitations
The people on board, both crew (kitchen, dhoni crew, masseur) and guides were incredibly nice, attentive, hard-working, competent and enriched the week very much! One member even gave us all his personal tea when we had a cold until he had nothing left. The crew on the dhoni (Sharif, Gabir and Dju) were very competent and safety-conscious. Our guide Maa'dhu was super nice and a great guide; we also dived with Ada and were very happy! The dives were unique: beautiful corals, manta rays, a whale shark... We were very lucky! The food was very tasty: As vegetarians, we still got something extra cooked, although there was always enough choice.

Great route with an exceptional crew
The route to the north was superb. We had a lot of sightseeing of the mantas and the sharks. Crew is fantastic.

3rd time on this boat, love it!
Each time/trip the dive guides were different but they are always very helpful and make every dive an awesome experience. Maldivian reefs are gorgeous, you never get tired of them. Highly recomend this boat and destination. This time it was the central route.

My week on a Horizon 3
All of the staff is extremly friendly, super nice, great people. Food is realy great, super fresh, we caught tuna on a daily basis and had ceviche and grilled tuna for lunch. The dives are great, locations adjustable depending on the conditions for the best possible experience. Rooms are nice, cleaned daily. Island visits and bbq is a great bonus.

Relaxed diving with sharks and rays
It is a different diving experience than the Red Sea, for example. Less color and sight and small fish but for the big really recommended

Nice north route to enjoy the mantas
We really wanted to do the northern itinerary and we liked it very much. We were few customers for the capacity of the boat so we were really comfortable at all times. The dive operations are very good, the guides are very good and everything was perfectly organized. The dive sites were very nice and without people, we were almost always alone. We visited Hanifaru Bay, which was a spectacle and in general we have seen many blankets, which is what we intended. The boat is large and comfortable. Our cabin was on the upper deck so we had nice views and lots of light. We found the food very good and varied. The price of this boat seems a bit high to me, but there are quite a few offers throughout the year that you can take advantage of to reduce it. Otherwise, it has been very short. I suggest that cruises like this are at least 10 nights to make the most of the trip.
