The MV Carpe Vita, a sister ship to the Carpe Diem and Carpe Novo liveaboards, is a luxury yacht offering year-round diving in the Maldives. There are 10 comfortable cabins spread over 3 decks, each with private bathroom facilities, individually controlled AC, storage space, safety deposit boxes, and a desk and chair. On the lower deck are 6 standard cabins, which have one queen-size bed and a super single bed, the main deck has two superior cabins, which have king-size beds, which can be separated into two super single beds and ocean views. The upper deck has 2 VIP spacious suites with a California King bed and ocean views.
Social areas aboard the Carpe Vita liveaboard include the air-conditioned salon and lounge, equipped with a flat-screen TV and entertainment system. Meals are prepared by a fine-dining chef and served semi-buffet style at the back of the boat's open-air dining and bar area. There are 3 partially shaded sun decks with comfortable loungers where guests can soak up the sun and enjoy the sea breeze. There is also a hot tub on board.
Carpe Vita dive itineraries explore some of the best dive sites in the Maldives. Cruises are seven to ten nights long, and divers can see everything from pelagics like mantas, sharks, and whale sharks to tiny shrimps, nudibranchs, and ghost pipefish. Diving takes place from the accompanying dive dhoni, and free Nitrox is available for those certified.

Nightdive, apart from massive amounts of people there were as many sharks. Early morning dives are the best to wake up. Great group atmosphere. Nice cold beer in the evening.

The best Liveaboard
If you are looking for a Liveaboard you should pick Carpe Vita. it is the best Liveaboard I have ever been on. The boat is comfortable, the food was very good and the diving tender you dive off is the best setup I have used. But the thing that makes the Carpe Vita stand out above the rest is the staff. From the time we first sent them an email to the drop off at the airport every thing was perfect, I could not find one thing that they could of done better. The staff on the boat from the captain to the boat boys made our trip into a very relaxing time not a dive boot camp you can get when you do 4 dives a day. They had a perfect mix of professionalism and a relaxed nature and managed to keep to the dive schedule with out any fuss. They are a credit to their company. Probably the best recommendation I could give them is that we will come back no need to try another boat or company. Thanks guys for a wonderful trip

Einzigartige Erlebnisse auf einer sehr entspannte Tauchsafari sowohl über als auch unter Wasser!
Nachttauchen mit Mantas, Schnorcheln mit Walhai beim Boot, Sunset Dive mit Ammenhai, Rochen und Riffhaie. Die Tauchgänge waren ohne Ausnahme sehr gut organisiert und die Diveguides machten ein großartigen Job. Auswahl der Tauchplätze und Drop In waren perfekt. Die Crew war immer sehr hilfsbereit und das Essen sehr lecker. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder und können eine Tauchsafari mit Carpe Vita nur weiterempfehlen!
