The MV Carpe Vita, a sister ship to the Carpe Diem and Carpe Novo liveaboards, is a luxury yacht offering year-round diving in the Maldives. There are 10 comfortable cabins spread over 3 decks, each with private bathroom facilities, individually controlled AC, storage space, safety deposit boxes, and a desk and chair. On the lower deck are 6 standard cabins, which have one queen-size bed and a super single bed, the main deck has two superior cabins, which have king-size beds, which can be separated into two super single beds and ocean views. The upper deck has 2 VIP spacious suites with a California King bed and ocean views.
Social areas aboard the Carpe Vita liveaboard include the air-conditioned salon and lounge, equipped with a flat-screen TV and entertainment system. Meals are prepared by a fine-dining chef and served semi-buffet style at the back of the boat's open-air dining and bar area. There are 3 partially shaded sun decks with comfortable loungers where guests can soak up the sun and enjoy the sea breeze.
Carpe Vita dive itineraries explore some of the best dive sites in the Maldives. Cruises are seven to ten nights long, and divers can see everything from pelagics like mantas, sharks, and whale sharks to tiny shrimps, nudibranchs, and ghost pipefish. Diving takes place from the accompanying dive dhoni (boat), and free Nitrox is available for those certified.

My diving experience in Maldives with Carpe Vita was the most amazing dive trip ever!

Fantastic experience - itinerary, boat, food!
We very much enjoyed the Carpe Vita. The crew was fantastic - great divemasters, friendly team, and an excellent chef. The diving exceeded our expectations - multiple manta sites, a huge variety (and quantity) of sharks, a whale shark (on snorkel). Great reefs and excellent diving overall. The crew was friendly and helpful. Hats off to the chef and team for an impressive array of food at each meal. I'd highly recommend.

Had an awesome diving trip w/ Carpe vita. Dive guide, captain and are crews make our day always unforgettable. We bumped up with school of gray and white tips reef sharks , school of rays , school of nurse sharks , tiger sharks, whale shark, manta , eagle ray, octopus , eel , beautiful corals , big sea fans , nudibranch etc Liveaboard.com customer service also fantastic. They will seamlessly support and connect to ensure your arrival.

Unique experiences on a very relaxed liveaboard both above and below water!
Night diving with manta rays, snorkeling with whale sharks at the boat, sunset dive with nurse sharks, rays and reef sharks. The dives were without exception very well organized and the dive guides did a great job. Selection of dive sites and drop in were perfect. The crew was always very helpful and the food delicious.We will definitely be back and can only recommend a liveaboard with Carpe Vita!

We are glad we finally made it to the Maldives.
We were a group of nine and had a great time. They were flexible, we weren't keen on seeing a shark feeding so they took us diving. We saw plenty of sharks which was great. The dinner on the beach was fun. Weather could have ruined it but it all worked out fine.
