Highlights
The Carpe Novo is the largest yacht of the Carpe Diem fleet offering year-round diving in the Maldives. 12 comfortable cabins spread over 3 decks cater to 22 guests onboard. The Junior Suites, located on the upper deck, have double or twin beds and ocean views. The 6 standard cabins located on the lower deck have either one queen-size bed and a single bed or two single beds. There are also two single suites located on the main deck, ideal for solo travelers. Also on the main deck is the large air-conditioned salon with panoramic views, flat screen TV, entertainment system and library. The upper deck serves freshly prepared dishes at the al-fresco dining table so guests can enjoy the stunning views and sea air. The sun deck has plenty of padded loungers and a partially shaded seating area for tanning in between dives or enjoying a sunset cocktail.
Itineraries on Carpe Novo cover some of the Maldives' best dive sites. The classical routes are 7-10 nights long and explore the Male, Ari, Vaavu and Rasdhoo atolls to name a few. The Deep South trips are for more experienced divers who will be rewarded with hammerhead encounters and thrilling channel diving. Diving takes place from the dedicated dive dhoni (boat) which is fully equipped to give divers all the space they need for kitting up, gear storage, and rinsing. There is also a dedicated camera room with charging ports and a dry area for changing batteries and memory cards, so you don't miss out on the action.

A great experience!
The Manta Madness tour lived up to its name - we saw at least one manta on almost every dive. The boat is comfortable and very well-run. We stayed in a downstairs cabin, which was large and well-appointed. The diving was great - we focused mostly on Baa and Raa and we particularly loved Raa. Our dive group was small (us + 2 other great divers who have become friends, and our wonderful guide Naveen) so it never felt crowded or congested. As vegetarians, the food was catered very well - always very tasty and good variety. Overall atmosphere on the boat was laid back and fun.

- Positive and friendly attitude of the entire crew. Design of the diving dhohi, particularly platform at the back, lots of space, tank filling, 13.5L tanks. Al fresco dining with communal table and great food.

Amazing dives, while treated like princes on board !
Thus was my first liveaboard, and definitely not the last one! Everything was more than excellent: dives were incredibles, divemaster and guides super attentive and serious, they took really good care of us, with particular attention to all diver ability and necessities. We dived with tons of huge Mantas, sharks, rays, schools of fishes, octopuses...well, it was AMAZING. The staff on board was adorable, food excellent, room are comfortable and clean. I will certainly come back to explore Maldives with the other itineraries proposed by Carpe Diem !

Fabulous week for macro and pelagics
Had a great week of diving. Very lucky with the sea life and whale sharks were the highlight. Overall the crew were top class who were ready to help whenever required. Accommodation was very spacious and clean.

Superb experience in a magical setting
Fabulous trip on a very well maintained boat, with a very nice crew, quality food, a very friendly and professional diving management team, magnificent seabed. Some spots are a bit overcrowded, but most of the spots are really pretty and you don't meet many diversTo choose without hesitation.

This was my first liveaboard, but everything was fantastic! The crew and the dive guides were great. Food was delicious. We've had a really good group of divers as well, so overall a wonderful experience, would definitely recommend Carpe Novo.
