Highlights
The Carpe Novo is the largest yacht of the Carpe Diem fleet offering year-round diving in the Maldives. 12 comfortable cabins spread over 3 decks cater to 22 guests onboard. The Junior Suites, located on the upper deck, have double or twin beds and ocean views. The 6 standard cabins located on the lower deck have either one queen-size bed and a single bed or two single beds. There are also two single suites located on the main deck, ideal for solo travelers. Also on the main deck is the large air-conditioned salon with panoramic views, flat screen TV, entertainment system and library. The upper deck serves freshly prepared dishes at the al-fresco dining table so guests can enjoy the stunning views and sea air. The sun deck has plenty of padded loungers and a partially shaded seating area for tanning in between dives or enjoying a sunset cocktail.
Itineraries on Carpe Novo cover some of the Maldives' best dive sites. The classical routes are 7-10 nights long and explore the Male, Ari, Vaavu and Rasdhoo atolls to name a few. The Deep South trips are for more experienced divers who will be rewarded with hammerhead encounters and thrilling channel diving. Diving takes place from the dedicated dive dhoni (boat) which is fully equipped to give divers all the space they need for kitting up, gear storage, and rinsing. There is also a dedicated camera room with charging ports and a dry area for changing batteries and memory cards, so you don't miss out on the action.

Just perfect great mix of diving & relaxing.
Felt so well looked after start to finish & had a great holiday! The staff were amazing under & out of water and the boat was very comfortable. Food was much better than i ever exspected!

It made me want to do more liveaboards in the future
It was my first liveaboard, it met and exceeded my expectations. The boat was great, spacious and modern. the crew was fantastic and the diving was great as well. It will defenitely not be my last liveaboard!

Very good indeed: Very comfortable, friendly staff, well run boat.
The channel diving was a new experience for us. We have not done a long trip like this before, and we have really enjoyed ourselves. We really enjoyed being with other divers who shared the same interests as us. The crew really made us feel conformable and the trip very enjoyable to be on.

We loved our time on Carpe Novo
The Carpe Novo is a great boat with large outdoor seating areas for both sunbathing and eating. The cabins are spacious and the salon too. The current Sri Lankan chef is amazing and all boat staff are very friendly and helpful. We had a half full boat, so plenty of space to move around. The diving program is geared towards Mantas, Whalesharks and reef sharks and the diving team made all of those happen for us. We were lucky to see them all up close. The dinghy dive boat is great, spacious and well run it makes the three dives a day very easy to organise. Unfortunately there are also many reefs that are damaged by the 2016 El niño event and have not recovered. It was somewhat saddening to see the destruction of great coral gardens. I am not so sure about the request to leaving a large tip for the cruise staff given that this is a premium priced live aboard - at least it was for us. I would inquire about it next time.

- Since it was my first diving trip to the Maledives seeing the Mantas up close was an absolute highlight of the trip. The Sri Lankan chef cooked amazingly great food for us. The cabin and bathroom were spacious and well kept by our cabin staff.

Relaxing adventure in the Maldives
Excellent holiday. Great boat and crew. Lots of different locations. Everything ran smoothly. Had a great room and lots of lovely food. I was a non diver and was so lucky to be taken out in a small boat whenever i wanted to snorkel. Saw loads of fish, turtles, sting ray, even white tipped shark. Off the back of the boat were giant manta rays and grey sharks. Plenty of shady comfortable seating to lounge around and read. Hughly recommend

Great stay - highly recommended
I had a great stay at Carpe Novo - From the moment we stepped aboard, the crew made us feel at home with their warm hospitality and impeccable service. The boat itself was spacious, clean, and well-equipped, offering everything you could need for a comfortable stay. The guides offered there support 24/7, making a great job to ensure safe and in the same time fun dives. The food was amazing, with a lot of fresh options and it was served in an amazing open-air dining area. In between dives, there were plenty of opportunities to relax on the sun deck, enjoy a cup of coffee or take a nap in the saloon. I enjoyed the stay so much that I directly booked a second week to spend on the boat. I would highly recommend this trip to any diver and can't wait to return.

This was our second time on Caroe Novo and once again would thoroughly recommend . Amazing diving - the guides were brilliant and really tailor the experience to suit the group - experience and interest (in a big sharks lover while husband can prefer macro life . Catered for us both . Excellent dives sites . Boat so clean and luxurious .. home from home
