The Carpe Diem liveaboard is well-known for having a focus on superior service and quality. There are 10 cabins onboard spread over 3 decks with the choice of cabin standards, each with en-suite bathrooms and AC. On the lower deck are 6 standard cabins, 4 of which have 2 single beds which can be converted to doubles and the other 2 each have one single bed and one semi bunk bed. On the main deck are two double cabins with queen size beds and the upper deck has 1 deluxe cabin with a queen bed and 1 suite with a king bed. All main and upper deck cabins feature a smart TV and stunning sea views. Social areas are spread out over 3 decks and encompass an indoor salon, outdoor terrace and dining area, and sundeck with comfortable loungers.
Dive itineraries aboard the MV Carpe Diem liveaboard are 7 or 10-nights long and explore some of the best dive sites in the Maldives, including Kudarah Thila, Manta Point, Maaya Thila, Fish Head, and Machafushi wreck. Get up close with mantas, whale sharks, nurse sharks, reef sharks, turtles, and huge schools of fish in the stunning Indian Ocean. The incredibly experienced dive crew is on hand to ensure the perfect Maldives liveaboard experience. Diving takes place from the dedicated diving Dhoni, where there is plenty of room for gear storage, rinsing, and kitting up. Free nitrox is also available for those certified.

An Unforgettable Maldives Experience – 10/10 Highly Recommended!
From the moment we met the team representative at the airport until the very last second of our trip, everything went incredibly smoothly. We were warmly welcomed at the arrival terminal, assisted with our bags, and seamlessly transported to our main vessel. Upon arriving at the Carpe Diem, we were greeted with a delicious welcome drink. Right from the start, the team prioritized safety, presenting the safety protocols while we enjoyed our drinks—a detail that was extremely important to me. World-Class Crew & Seamless Diving The entire crew was professional, friendly, and supportive 24/7. The Staff: Everyone—from the captain and main manager to the barman and supporting staff—went above and beyond to make us feel at home. The Dive Team: The dive guides were exceptional. They, along the staff members on the boat, meticulously helped us set up our gear for every dive and provided thorough, detailed dive briefings beforehand. They were always there for us. The boys refilled our tanks before every dive and were literally there for anything and everything we needed. The room: Cleaned twice a day, and pretty spacious! Exceptional Dining (100 out of 10!) The food was beyond amazing, featuring incredible variety and fresh, delicious fruit every single day. Between breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks—with coffee and water always available—we were thoroughly spoiled. Buffet style. As someone with dietary restrictions, I was deeply impressed by the chef's effort. He went out of his way for every single meal to ensure I had more than enough to eat, even personally approaching me to guide me through which dishes were safe for me. Going the Extra Mile Until the Very End This was my mom’s very first liveaboard experience, and she completely fell in love with it. The crew’s hospitality truly shone on our final day; because we had an early flight, they organized an early airport transfer. Our dive guide even accompanied us all the way into the terminal until we were safely checked in. We are so incredibly thankful for this experience. If we get the chance to return to the Maldives, we would choose this exact vessel and crew without a second thought. Thank you so much to the entire Carpe Diem team! We highly, highly recommend them to anyone looking to dive in the Maldives!

Trip of a Lifetime
My week aboard the Carpe Diem was perfection. The entire crew treats you like family and goes above and beyond to make your experience spectacular. Every single meal the food was phenomenal (shoutout to the Chefs!), my room below deck had plenty of space and was comfy and the shower had endless hot water. My favorite spot on the boat was the sun deck, whether sitting in the breeze, soaking up the sun, or stargazing at a beautiful clear sky at night. But the DIVING was the best of my life. It blew me away and has left me speechless. All of the sites were so interesting and full of life. Diving with Manta Rays and snorkeling with a Whale Shark might be the coolest thing I’ve ever done. And our dive leaders were so amazing, (Shoutout Saaz!) they were always finding the coolest tiny things, making sure we saw the big things, and constantly checked that we were safe and okay. And the crew on the dive boat offered so much help with our equipment, and being able to leave our BCD’s on the same tank all week while they refilled them after each dive was a luxury for sure. Thank you Munkko and the whole crew for making our experience the best it could possibly be! The hard work and care you all put in is seen and felt by everyone. I hope to be able to come back aboard the Carpe Diem another time in the future.

Deeply grateful for this trip
The diving with Munkko and Redey was simply amazing! Every dive turned out to be something special :) They made the right choices, they really know where to go at the right time of the day. We had a lot of laughs, jokes and even under water we were having a lot of fun (careful, you can swallow a lot of salt water when laughing during a dive...). Our Sri Lankan chef made us putting on some kilos during only one week. Very fresh and tasty food! The whole crew from the roomboy to the captain were exceptionally friendly. Thank you so much, Carpe Diem Crew! I'm already watching out for the next holidays to spend at the Maldives with you!

Excellent Maldives liveaboard
Review of Carpe Diem Cruises Maldives My second trip on this vessel and it was just as excellent as the first one 2 years ago. The staff are so important on a Liveaboard as they have such an influence on the experience and the Carpe Diem crew are truly outstanding from the Captain down . Everyone is so friendly and professional even during Ramadan. The food is amazing. The bar is very well stocked and I loved the Margaritas. This is one of the few boats that have ice cold Lion Lager on tap…. so refreshing after a long day of diving and very reasonable prices. Seriously, you need look no further. Air conditioned spacious ensuite cabins, good internet and fresh dive towels everyday. Free Nitrox which, in my experience, is exceptional. I will be booking a 3rd trip with this company. They have 3 boats to choose from: Carpe Diem, Carpe Nova and Carpe Vita. Enjoy.

One of the best liveaboard experience
The staffs were always friendly and ready to help. No matter what you need and what you want, they are there to help. Open communication, smiling faces, we are more than happy to spend the last few days with the crews. Dives were also perfect managed, one of the most memorial experiences.
