The Carpe Diem liveaboard is well-known for having a focus on superior service and quality. There are 10 cabins onboard spread over 3 decks with the choice of cabin standards, each with en-suite bathrooms and AC. On the lower deck are 6 standard cabins, 4 of which have 2 single beds which can be converted to doubles and the other 2 each have one single bed and one semi bunk bed. On the main deck are two double cabins with queen size beds and the upper deck has 1 deluxe cabin with a queen bed and 1 suite with a king bed. All main and upper deck cabins feature a smart TV and stunning sea views. Social areas are spread out over 3 decks and encompass an indoor salon, outdoor terrace and dining area, and sundeck with comfortable loungers.
Dive itineraries aboard the MV Carpe Diem liveaboard are 7 or 10-nights long and explore some of the best dive sites in the Maldives, including Kudarah Thila, Manta Point, Maaya Thila, Fish Head, and Machafushi wreck. Get up close with mantas, whale sharks, nurse sharks, reef sharks, turtles, and huge schools of fish in the stunning Indian Ocean. The incredibly experienced dive crew is on hand to ensure the perfect Maldives liveaboard experience. Diving takes place from the dedicated diving Dhoni, where there is plenty of room for gear storage, rinsing, and kitting up. Free nitrox is also available for those certified.

One of the best time of my life, I'd do it again in a heartbeat if I can.
I enjoy every minutes of the trip. Diving everyday, resting, watching the endless sea before your eyes and temporarily forget all your worries. The trip exceeds my expectation and I can't wait to come back in the future.

An unforgettable experience that you will never forget.
The diving holiday on safari was just amazing! From the first moment we felt super comfortable on board. The crew was extremely friendly, helpful and professional – you can tell right away that there is a real passion for diving behind it.The dive sites were breathtaking: crystal clear waters, impressive reefs and a fascinating variety of marine life. We noticed particularly positively that care was always taken to approach spots that are not overcrowded, so you could enjoy the underwater world in peace. We saw countless rays, manta rays, hammerhead sharks. There was no dive where we didn't see a shark. Individual wishes were also flexibly responded to in coordination with all guests, which made the experience even more personal.A big praise also goes to our diving instructor Wathey: He was always there when you needed support underwater, always made sure that everything ran safely, and at the same time made sure that we could discover the most beautiful highlights.The crew was in a great mood throughout, which made the atmosphere on board particularly pleasant. The team on the dinghy was also very helpful at all times and did a great job.The organization on board went smoothly, everything was perfectly coordinated and stress-free. The food was also top – fresh, varied and always delicious. After the dives, you could relax wonderfully and enjoy the time with like-minded people.For us it is already clear: We will definitely book the boat for the southern route again! Overall, an unforgettable experience that I would repeat at any time. Totally recommended for those who love adventure, nature and diving!

Clear recommendation
The trip was well organized, the dives mostly great! Sometimes a lot of current, I would have liked an explicit briefing. The food was just amazing! Always a lot of choice, always something "European" and always super delicious! The bartender also did a great job. All in all, we had a really great week (but that was also a lot due to the people who were in our diving group!)

The Magnificent Maldives on Carpe Diem!
This was my first liveabord experience and it was fantastic! The knowledge of the dive team, the locations we set out to were amazing. Thanks you Munkko, Saaz and Wathey. There pre dive briefings were very informative and set the tone for the dives. The rooms were very comfortable and always well maintained by our smiling friend Subuj! Our meals were delicious and well balanced thanks to our chef and bartender: Nilanka and Mahey! Special note of gratitude to Captain Issey and engineer Adam for getting me to some awesome reefs! And Koko and the rest of the crew for their hard work in making this trip a flawless experience. I cannot wait to share this with my friends and return. With gratitude, Susan

A week in heaven on the Carpe Diem
Our first time on a week long liveaboard. Fabulous! The Carpe Diem was kept clean and well run. The dive lead Munkko was excellent at keeping everyone informed. All the crew was friendly and attentive and all the dive guides were helpful and pleasant. Munkko was our private guide for the week and was extremely knowledgeable and went above and beyond to work on improving skills with my 16 year old and helped me obtain my advanced certification. The dive sites were carefully picked daily. Of course wildlife doesn’t always comply. We checked many reef shark cleaning stations with great rewards but the mantas were elusive until we were snorkeling on the last day. They found tons of macro life. We also went diving at a spot with large sharks in Male by the marina and enjoyed lemon, tiger and bull sharks along with giant rays. Incredible. The beach bar b que night was a night shore break at a beautiful location under the stars. Fabulous operation. Smoothly run. Great crew. Beautiful part of the world.

Great liveaboard, amazing value
Carpe Novo had really friendly staff, the dive guides were super knowledgeable and accommodating as far as transfers to and from the airport. Quality of diving and price cannot be beat. Food was excellent the whole trip, and the boat was spacious and felt luxurious compared to other liveaboard I’ve been on. 10/10 would book with them again.

Great choice for a Maldives liveaboard
We are very happy with our choice to book a liveaboard with Carpe Diem. The boat was very comfortable, well maintained and special thanks to the crew - there were no wishes unfullfilled. Everyday we had delicious meals and snacks. The boat and the rooms were cleaned several times everyday. The 16 divers were split in three small diving groups, got detailed briefings before every dive and were assisted, whenever needed. The diveguides were keen to show us the best divesides, avoid the crowds and make the most of our trip... on the many beautiful and exciting dives, we were lucky to see mantas, a whaleshark, seaturtles, eagle rays and countless sharks... including bullshark, tiger sharks and a hammerhead shark! Thanks for this amazing trip!

Amazing week on Carpe Diem
This was our first liveaboard experience, and for sure we will do it again! It was amazing to dive in so many different spots and see all the sharks and rays! The boat is very comfortable and the dhoney very convenient. Staff were always available and ready to help. Very good meals too!!
