The Carpe Diem liveaboard is well-known for having a focus on superior service and quality. There are 10 cabins onboard spread over 3 decks with the choice of cabin standards, each with en-suite bathrooms and AC. On the lower deck are 6 standard cabins, 4 of which have 2 single beds which can be converted to doubles and the other 2 each have one single bed and one semi bunk bed. On the main deck are two double cabins with queen size beds and the upper deck has 1 deluxe cabin with a queen bed and 1 suite with a king bed. All main and upper deck cabins feature a smart TV and stunning sea views. Social areas are spread out over 3 decks and encompass an indoor salon, outdoor terrace and dining area, and sundeck with comfortable loungers.
Dive itineraries aboard the MV Carpe Diem liveaboard are 7 or 10-nights long and explore some of the best dive sites in the Maldives, including Kudarah Thila, Manta Point, Maaya Thila, Fish Head, and Machafushi wreck. Get up close with mantas, whale sharks, nurse sharks, reef sharks, turtles, and huge schools of fish in the stunning Indian Ocean. The incredibly experienced dive crew is on hand to ensure the perfect Maldives liveaboard experience. Diving takes place from the dedicated diving Dhoni, where there is plenty of room for gear storage, rinsing, and kitting up. Free nitrox is also available for those certified.

Trip of a Lifetime
My week aboard the Carpe Diem was perfection. The entire crew treats you like family and goes above and beyond to make your experience spectacular. Every single meal the food was phenomenal (shoutout to the Chefs!), my room below deck had plenty of space and was comfy and the shower had endless hot water. My favorite spot on the boat was the sun deck, whether sitting in the breeze, soaking up the sun, or stargazing at a beautiful clear sky at night. But the DIVING was the best of my life. It blew me away and has left me speechless. All of the sites were so interesting and full of life. Diving with Manta Rays and snorkeling with a Whale Shark might be the coolest thing I’ve ever done. And our dive leaders were so amazing, (Shoutout Saaz!) they were always finding the coolest tiny things, making sure we saw the big things, and constantly checked that we were safe and okay. And the crew on the dive boat offered so much help with our equipment, and being able to leave our BCD’s on the same tank all week while they refilled them after each dive was a luxury for sure. Thank you Munkko and the whole crew for making our experience the best it could possibly be! The hard work and care you all put in is seen and felt by everyone. I hope to be able to come back aboard the Carpe Diem another time in the future.

Great time aboard Carpe Diem
Absolutely amazing diving in Maldives. Maldives has the reputation as a bucket-list, "must do" destination, and that's for a reason. The diving was spectacular, and Carpe Diem is a great way o see it. I'd definitely sail with them again.

Great liveaboard, amazing value
Carpe Novo had really friendly staff, the dive guides were super knowledgeable and accommodating as far as transfers to and from the airport. Quality of diving and price cannot be beat. Food was excellent the whole trip, and the boat was spacious and felt luxurious compared to other liveaboard I’ve been on. 10/10 would book with them again.

Couldn't have been better
Whale shark, mantas, big school of nurse sharks, lots of shark and fish action. Mantas at night. Crew was very approachable and considerate. Loved every aspect of it

High standard of care, high quality of service and an excellent overall experience
The crew take care of literally everything from the moment you board, always people to carry this or that, fetch whatever you desire (within their power) and will help you if you're not feeling well. Good safety standards. The dive boat (little one pictured) includes hot showers, so by the time you're back on the main boat (done every dive) you're ready to go relax or eat or whatever. Dive guides know the sites very well and assist you with things like dive hook attachment when they're needed.

Excellent week of adventure & comfort
Crew was super friendly, fun and helpful during the whole trip. The food was multicultural and delicious. The room was tidied everyday. The guide was very considerate and caring. He really knows the ocean as well as the underwater creatures and where to find them. I was so relaxed and enjoyed the dives with him. I deeply appreciate the effort of the crew who put their hearts and minds in keeping us safe and satisfied. I would definitely consider joining their cruise again in the future.

Loads to see. I will go again.
Taking the trip that went to the north was excellent. Got to see plenty of sharks and whale sharks and manta rays. They don’t call this trip manta madness for nothing. So good, I will return.
