The Carpe Diem liveaboard is well-known for having a focus on superior service and quality. There are 10 cabins onboard spread over 3 decks with the choice of cabin standards, each with en-suite bathrooms and AC. On the lower deck are 6 standard cabins, 4 of which have 2 single beds which can be converted to doubles and the other 2 each have one single bed and one semi bunk bed. On the main deck are two double cabins with queen size beds and the upper deck has 1 deluxe cabin with a queen bed and 1 suite with a king bed. All main and upper deck cabins feature a smart TV and stunning sea views. Social areas are spread out over 3 decks and encompass an indoor salon, outdoor terrace and dining area, and sundeck with comfortable loungers.
Dive itineraries aboard the MV Carpe Diem liveaboard are 7 or 10-nights long and explore some of the best dive sites in the Maldives, including Kudarah Thila, Manta Point, Maaya Thila, Fish Head, and Machafushi wreck. Get up close with mantas, whale sharks, nurse sharks, reef sharks, turtles, and huge schools of fish in the stunning Indian Ocean. The incredibly experienced dive crew is on hand to ensure the perfect Maldives liveaboard experience. Diving takes place from the dedicated diving Dhoni, where there is plenty of room for gear storage, rinsing, and kitting up. Free nitrox is also available for those certified.

Great liveaboard, amazing value
Carpe Novo had really friendly staff, the dive guides were super knowledgeable and accommodating as far as transfers to and from the airport. Quality of diving and price cannot be beat. Food was excellent the whole trip, and the boat was spacious and felt luxurious compared to other liveaboard I’ve been on. 10/10 would book with them again.

Excellent boat and a great week of diving
Carpe Diem is a very large & well laid out boat. The standard twin cabin was very large and well appointed. Food and drinks were excellent, one of the best menus I have experienced on a liveaboard trip. Daily fresh towels were provided for after the dives. Dive Briefings were well run & the organisation of the boat, dives, briefing, safety was all to a very high standard.

A week in heaven on the Carpe Diem
Our first time on a week long liveaboard. Fabulous! The Carpe Diem was kept clean and well run. The dive lead Munkko was excellent at keeping everyone informed. All the crew was friendly and attentive and all the dive guides were helpful and pleasant. Munkko was our private guide for the week and was extremely knowledgeable and went above and beyond to work on improving skills with my 16 year old and helped me obtain my advanced certification. The dive sites were carefully picked daily. Of course wildlife doesn’t always comply. We checked many reef shark cleaning stations with great rewards but the mantas were elusive until we were snorkeling on the last day. They found tons of macro life. We also went diving at a spot with large sharks in Male by the marina and enjoyed lemon, tiger and bull sharks along with giant rays. Incredible. The beach bar b que night was a night shore break at a beautiful location under the stars. Fabulous operation. Smoothly run. Great crew. Beautiful part of the world.

Amazing diving trip in the Maldivian Central Atolls. We did a good mix of dives in channels, lagoons, cleaning stations and night dives. The crew were very nice and super friendly. The food was amazing!

The Magnificent Maldives on Carpe Diem!
This was my first liveabord experience and it was fantastic! The knowledge of the dive team, the locations we set out to were amazing. Thanks you Munkko, Saaz and Wathey. There pre dive briefings were very informative and set the tone for the dives. The rooms were very comfortable and always well maintained by our smiling friend Subuj! Our meals were delicious and well balanced thanks to our chef and bartender: Nilanka and Mahey! Special note of gratitude to Captain Issey and engineer Adam for getting me to some awesome reefs! And Koko and the rest of the crew for their hard work in making this trip a flawless experience. I cannot wait to share this with my friends and return. With gratitude, Susan

Great trip on Carpe Diem
I appreciated the care of the crew, the divers on the boat were very friendly, no drama and no issues, everyone was so supportive of my 11.5 year old son who just started diving. It was a great value for money.
