The Ariyal is a 45-meter/148-foot-long liveaboard taking 26 passengers in 13 cabins on diving adventures in the Maldives. There are three types of rooms: 7 State Cabins on the lower deck, 2 Sea View Suites on the main deck, and 4 Sea View Suites on the upper deck. All cabins feature ensuite bathrooms, air conditioning, and modern amenities. The lower deck cabins provide twin beds, and the sea view suites offer king-size beds and sofa beds. Guests can enjoy a spacious second deck equipped with a freshwater jacuzzi.
Ariyal also boasts a range of onboard facilities and activities. It includes 2 Yamaha Jetskis, paddleboards, wakeboards, water skis, and various inflatables for water sports enthusiasts. Beach BBQ setups with portable grills, speakers, and dining furniture are available for shore excursions. The boat is equipped for fishing with 24 line fishing sets. Onboard entertainment includes a 75” smart TV in the lounge, WiFi, a PlayStation 5, portable Bose speakers, and board games. The diving safari on the Ariyal was an absolute dream! From the very first moment, I felt completely welcome – the crew is warm, attentive, and truly passionate about what they do. The captain guides the ship with calm confidence and the guides are amazing – professional, caring, and full of enthusiasm for the underwater world. Every dive was a magical experience – encounters with manta rays, sharks, and vibrant coral reefs that I’ll never forget. The encounter with a whale shark will also remain unforgettable. Life on board was just as wonderful: delicious food, cozy cabins, and a warm, family-like atmosphere. We had an unforgettable experience at the Liveaboard Ariyal, where we celebrated the second week of our honeymoon. From the first moment, the treatment was exceptional: knowing that we were on our honeymoon, they surprised us with a cake and a bottle of prosecco. A beautiful detail!All the staff of the boat were always super attentive 24 hours a day, taking care of every detail so that we did not miss anything. The four dive guides are a real blast: Ali, Alex, Shamil and Wish, cracks! We hired a private guide, which was a great choice, but we also found that groups of five per divemaster work great; All the divers seemed very happy.The food was delicious, with snacks between meals that always came in handy. Dinner on the deserted island was simply magical.Without a doubt, we would repeat without thinking about it! A diving experience and care that exceeds expectations.

Excellent week of diving on a very comfortable boat
I had a most enjoyable week on the Ariyal - I had beautiful and spacious room on the main deck. The common areas are very well appointed - and great for socialising, relaxing and for briefings. Lots of outdoor spaces to lounge about, including shaded areas. The diving was excellent, although visibility was not the best during the low season. I would definitely recommend this boat to my friends.

Amazing experience! Highly recommend, the staff particulary made it memorable.
This was our first liveaboard and it set a high expectation of what a great experience is like! It's a new boat so very comfortable, the staff especially the dive guides where incredible, the locations and marine life we saw were impressive.

Great trip
Overall experience was great. I enjoyed my trip. Dive guides and crew members were very friendly and helpful. The boat was quite new and mostly clean. Food was fine. We were so tired from the dives anyways we just inhaled everything. The only thing was that I was under the impression that the ocean view room would have sofa bed and bathtub but that was not the case. I also wasn’t very clear on how frequently the towels got changed. I believe I only got new towels once on day 2.

Relaxing, Feel like Home, great people and Amazing Wildlife
Highly recommended Liveaboard Ariyal! This is my 2nd time with this Luxury and Comfy boat with friendly crew, feel more like home instead of commercial boat and soooo relaxing after diving. Diving arrangement, briefing and sites are wonderful this time, number of sharks and rays and abundant wildlife was definitely amazing even during the low season with not so wonderful visibility due to nutrition for new born wildlife, but the rich wildlife is definitely world class, so happy to see many many fish species! Dhoni boat staff are very helpful to help everyone ready get in and out of water, and always with their smiles! All Crews are friendly and room was cleaned up during first dive, mixed western and eastern food with fresh vegetables and fruits which I love, are well prepared after diving too. And so lucky to meet many friendly and experienced divers during past 2 Liveaboard at Ariyal, they sharing not only their experiences, support each other (junior diver) but also culture exchange and some even with great stories of their life!

Great trip, 8/10!
We had a great trip doing the central atolls (best of male) Food on board was pretty good. Although it was a bit of the same every time. Rooms are huge! Some friends even thought i stayed at an hotel instead of liveaboard. We saw all the good stuff, manta's, whaleshark, hammerhead, lots of blacktip/whitetip reefsharks. Visited a lot of healthy reefs. I would definitely book the Ariyal again; maybe for the southern route

Absolute recommendation: Great boat, great crew
The boat is great, very spacious and modern. We spent the first week on the Upper Deck in a cabin that is really huge. The second week we were in a cabin on the lower deck (because there was nothing else available). Unfortunately, there was no partition at the shower on our room on the lower deck, so the bathroom was always completely wet, but the cabins are also huge. However, I would recommend the cabins on the main or upper deck. The dive sites were very well chosen and the crew supported us in organizing further dives between the two tours. Overall a great trip.
