Very disappointed.

Very disappointed. Pooly managed, poor choice of dive sites, unsafe if not dangerous practices, poor selection of food, no food left for a guest on more than one occasion, Very little good to say about ANYTHING on this trip. Would not recommend.

Great Boat - Disappointing dive crew & coordination.

The boat is great but the diving was disappointing as very disorganized, and not professional. There was a clear need for a boat/ cruise manager as a few things on the boat were lacking coordination, as did the dives and dive guides. Liverboards are primarily aimed at divers, and therefore not having a strong dive guide crew, coordinated and professional/ respecting diving best practices (like not taking open water to 27m on most dives), can be quite disappointing. Lucky the Maldives is a great place to dive.

Recommended for
Beautiful boat and spacious rooms. It is in the maldives. the food quantity and selection.

A New Boat, Completely Mismanaged Divings!

There was no clear leader overseeing the diving operation, which made many guests feel unsafe and confused. And the dive staffs were uninterested in their guests. Our dive guide never asked about our diving experience or even our names, and dive groups were formed randomly without considering skill levels. There was also no proper welcome or farewell, and no staff introductions, which made the trip feel poorly organized. The announced itinerary was changed without notice. Although a check dive was scheduled for the first day, we were told after boarding that there would be no diving, so the entire day was wasted. Safety was also the big concern on this trip. The dive guide focused on taking his own photos instead of assisting guests or pointing out marine life, and he often failed to notice when divers could not keep up. Briefings were long but uninformative, with little explanation of marine species. The cabins were new but smelled musty, had poor drainage, occasional sewage odor, and there were many flies in the room, which was very unpleasant. Toilets often did not flush properly and hot water was unreliable. Food was mediocre and repetitive, but couldn’t expect much considering it is a boat life. But the beach barbecue was enjoyable. The famous nurse shark, manta and stingray encounters were mostly feeding shows rather than natural experiences. While I am grateful for the chance to see marine life, the overall disappointment and safety issues mean I would definitely not return to the Maldives again. The only consistently positive aspect was the kindness and effort of the boat service staff.

Recommended for
Friendly and hardworking service staff (NOT DIVE STAFFS). Enjoyable beach barbecue. Opportunity to see marine life.

Great trip

Overall experience was great. I enjoyed my trip. Dive guides and crew members were very friendly and helpful. The boat was quite new and mostly clean. Food was fine. We were so tired from the dives anyways we just inhaled everything. The only thing was that I was under the impression that the ocean view room would have sofa bed and bathtub but that was not the case. I also wasn’t very clear on how frequently the towels got changed. I believe I only got new towels once on day 2.
