Highlights
The Ariyal is a 45-meter/148-foot-long liveaboard taking 26 passengers in 13 cabins on diving adventures in the Maldives. There are three types of rooms: 7 State Cabins on the lower deck, 2 Sea View Suites on the main deck, and 4 Sea View Suites on the upper deck. All cabins feature ensuite bathrooms, air conditioning, and modern amenities. The lower deck cabins provide twin beds, and the sea view suites offer king-size beds and sofa beds. Guests can enjoy a spacious second deck equipped with a freshwater jacuzzi.
Ariyal also boasts a range of onboard facilities and activities. It includes 2 Yamaha Jetskis, paddleboards, wakeboards, water skis, and various inflatables for water sports enthusiasts. Beach BBQ setups with portable grills, speakers, and dining furniture are available for shore excursions. The boat is equipped for fishing with 24 line fishing sets. Onboard entertainment includes a 75” smart TV in the lounge, WiFi, a PlayStation 5, portable Bose speakers, and board games. Unforgettable, eye-opening, exciting trip
Best holiday we ever went on. The crew, captain and our dive guide was incredibly friendly. We were able to see loads of sharks, mantas, tiger rays, even leopard sharks. It was flexible to choose snorkeling instead of scuba diving for some of the dives. The crew made a lot of effort to make this trip special for us including taking drone shots for us and under water videos and sent them back to us straightaway. Beach time and manta night was memorable. Boat is clean and modern, large variety of food and delicious- especially the seafood. Highly recommend this trip!

The diving safari on the Ariyal was an absolute dream! From the very first moment, I felt completely welcome – the crew is warm, attentive, and truly passionate about what they do. The captain guides the ship with calm confidence and the guides are amazing – professional, caring, and full of enthusiasm for the underwater world. Every dive was a magical experience – encounters with manta rays, sharks, and vibrant coral reefs that I’ll never forget. The encounter with a whale shark will also remain unforgettable. Life on board was just as wonderful: delicious food, cozy cabins, and a warm, family-like atmosphere. The atmosphere on board was relaxed and friendly, the crew made everyone feel welcome. The boat was comfortable with plenty of space to unwind between dives, and everything ran smoothly throughout the trip. It was the perfect mix of great diving, good company, and excellent service.

I joined Ariyal 3rd August 2025 - I booked the trip in 2024 and what attracted me to this offer was the price and the fact that the boat was new. Everything, from the comfort of the cabin, to all 16 dives we did, the crew and the team of divers, was incredible and I couldn’t expect anything more. Tip if you will join: bring pegs for drying your gear/clothes, start interacting with people from the first moment on the boat, mark your gear/clothes with your initials, bring your water bottle. Tip for the boat: create a board with the crew’s photos and names, use the top deck more often. Thank you to the crew and our amazing team of divers for making this an unforgettable adventure!

Definitely recommend, but check the current-saisons if you want to see more actions in the water
It was a great liveaboard with some average dives (due to hardly any current and the corresponding lack of marine life) and some excellent dives. The crew is extremely friendly and helpful. I wish I had been assigned to another group that would have suited my level better, but I'll dig deeper next time.

We had an unforgettable experience at the Liveaboard Ariyal, where we celebrated the second week of our honeymoon. From the first moment, the treatment was exceptional: knowing that we were on our honeymoon, they surprised us with a cake and a bottle of prosecco. A beautiful detail!All the staff of the boat were always super attentive 24 hours a day, taking care of every detail so that we did not miss anything. The four dive guides are a real blast: Ali, Alex, Shamil and Wish, cracks! We hired a private guide, which was a great choice, but we also found that groups of five per divemaster work great; All the divers seemed very happy.The food was delicious, with snacks between meals that always came in handy. Dinner on the deserted island was simply magical.Without a doubt, we would repeat without thinking about it! A diving experience and care that exceeds expectations.

Excellent week of diving on a very comfortable boat
I had a most enjoyable week on the Ariyal - I had beautiful and spacious room on the main deck. The common areas are very well appointed - and great for socialising, relaxing and for briefings. Lots of outdoor spaces to lounge about, including shaded areas. The diving was excellent, although visibility was not the best during the low season. I would definitely recommend this boat to my friends.

Very nice trio. Conditions rough
What diving I saw was good! Strong currents can not be said too many times. The 1st dive was spectacular. Room are well appointed, but you need more surfaces with lips and cubbies. This is a dive boat for divers.
