While exploring the Komodo National Park, guests can dive with giant manta rays, reef sharks, and turtles and see cool critters such as flamboyant cuttlefish, seahorses, and frogfish on a macro night dive. Topside, the Sokaraja phinisi has accommodations to suit every budget. There is a dorm room with 6 single bunks; for those who want extra privacy, there are 2 private double-bed cabins. All guests share two toilets and 3 showers with running freshwater, and basic toiletries are provided. Freshly prepared Indonesian cuisine is served buffet-style in the open-air dining area, which offers stunning views of the dramatic Indonesian landscapes. On the top deck is a large open sundeck with comfortable mattresses, perfect for snoozing in-between dives or star-gazing in the evening.

Perfect liveaboard
Sokaraja is run by a super friendly and attentive team. The chef does a great job with a wide variety of dishes and the dive sites are simply great!

World class diving made possible by superb dive guides know the sites - and importantly the tides!
So much diversity on dives - some were wild current with pelagics, mantas and sharks, some were as coral rich and diverse as Raja Ampat, each dive had amazing features… octopus play, cuttlefish mating, sharks hunting prey… weeks worth of dive experiences in 5 days. The Sokaraja has a great crew and wonderful spirit.

5 Days of Exceptional Adventure and Diving
Our liveaboard was simply beautiful. The boat only accommodated 10 people, which made the experience particularly enjoyable and intimate. I particularly appreciated the presence of 3 dive masters for 10 divers: the groups were formed according to the level of each one, allowing everyone to fully enjoy the dives during the 5 days.Before each dive, the dive master took the time to draw the site and explain to us in detail the progress of the exploration: itinerary, points of interest, currents, depth, potential fauna... The level of precision and pedagogy in these briefings was impressive, clearly reflecting their great expertise.The atmosphere on board was both warm and magical, making every moment unique. A huge thank you to the whole team, and especially to our dive masters Matteo, Adriana and Eric, for their professionalism, their kindness and these unforgettable adventures in the heart of Komodo. Bravo and thank you again!

Can’t recommend enough
I really enjoyed Sokaraja. The vibes are brilliant and perfect to explore Komodo on this style of boat. It’s relaxed, with great food and it was more comfortable than I expected. The itinerary packs as much in which maximises your time. The crew are brilliant and the dive briefings are thorough and the guides are great. I had fantastic time. And of course the diving in Komodo is world class.

Above and beyond - best value and experience
Fabulous trip, superior to another similar priced liveaboard in Komodo NP. Excellent experience all around, including a sunset trek to a spectacular viewpoint and the classic visit to the dragons. All the big name dive sites and kind and helpful staff. I fell sick with sinus issues and was given the best care, substituting dives for snorkeling.

Awesome Trip 10/10 :)
First liveaboard and it was super awesome! Love the overall experience living on the boat and the diving site are crazily good! The dive guide are really professional, really took the time to draw out all dive site for us during the brefing, the crew was super nice and helpful, the chef made very delicious food for us! I'm hook on liveaboard, will definitely do again!
