New to the Scubaspa fleet in 2020, Zen offers unique luxury diving cruises in Indonesia. The 53m Phinisi liveaboard caters to up to 20 guests in 9 fully-equipped luxurious cabins, each with a private en-suite bathroom, double or twin beds, and individually controlled AC. Boasting a wide array of additional onboard services, including a 5-star spa, yoga sessions, and high-end buffet and à la carte dining, ensures guests receive the highest level of satisfaction during their stay.
ZEN is the only operator in Indonesia that offers a two-boat service, with a separate 21-meter boat (Maldives-style Diving Dhoni) for unparalleled diver comfort and up to 4 dives per day.
The main deck features the Dolphin Suite, Cowrie Suite, and the Owner's Manta Suite, while below deck, there are an additional 6 Sea Star suites. Also on the main deck is the al fresco restaurant, which serves breakfast as a buffet, while lunch and dinner are à la carte, except for special occasions like BBQs, catering to all dietary needs. ZEN bar offers a wide range of spirits, cocktails, beers, and an extensive wine list, perfect for accompanying a meal or enjoying evening drinks. The onboard 5-star spa, situated at the stern of the vessel in a secluded area, provides relaxing spa treatments for couples and individuals, specifically designed to help our guests unwind after days of diving.

They are simply perfect. From the airport pick-up to the wow experience when we first arrived at the Scubaspa Zen, the wonderful, professional crew, the fun times with everyone, the fascinating dives, the tasty food and refreshing fruit, and the shots after diving. We will never forget the unforgettable moments with everyone, including Dom's little dance performances and funny sayings. Thank you all for always being so cheerful, even at 5:30 a.m. with your first coffee, the amazing dive locations, and the professional dive masters. Thank you very much, Niko. You made these days perfect and we always felt safe with you. The two captains always guided us safely to the boat and ashore, and everything on the boats was always clean and beautifully arranged. It was smooth from airport pickup in rural Kaimana. I was delighted to see the "zen is home" on arrival, and immediately felt home too on sighting the dhoni - the only way to dive. Crew were super friendly and engaging throughout the trip, tailoring details as they got to know you. Cruise director was extremely experienced in hospitality, choosing dive sites and knowledgeable about marine life. so much fun.

Fantastic once in a lifetime experience
The coral and mantas, the crew manager was wonderful and engaging, he made us feel very at home. The small group feel with just 10 cabins it made everyone feel like a family.

Incredible experience in every respect. Dom and his crew really took care of us. The diving was amazing. The abundance of fish and corals were like none we have experienced before, just beautiful. Having the Donney to take us out to dive was invaluable and provided the utmost comfort and ease for getting in and out of the water. Food was great and the bartending staff were super friendly and amusing. Amil, our dive master had the best eyes for finding small things as well as pointing out all the amazing large fish before they even came into our view! Thanks to all the crew we had a great trip.

Amazing experience with luxury, super care and superb diving.
From the first step on the boat we were welcomed with warm professionalism. The boat is a floating mansion and the crew are always trying their best to anticipate your every need. Our cruise director, Dom, lead his very fine crew with absolute precision to always ensure we received safe and friendly service. Our cabin was spacious and spotlessly maintained. The shower was larger than the one we have at home! We had a fabulous program of diving this amazing remote area of Indonesia. My husband, John, one month away from turning 80, kept up with the younger divers and did every available dive with mastery and enjoyment. At 74, I found my less experienced diving history and more cautious approach meant I was more easily tired and challenged by the diving demands. Dom to the rescue …and he became my exclusive Dive Master and “Buddy”, making sure I was supported in every descent and ascent from the fabulous underwater sights below. With Dom’s amazing ability to spot and identify everything underwater I was able to see amazing sealife – reef fish galore, turtles, rays, some big fish (I loved the giant purple Wrasse) and schools of hunting fish. I was delighted to be offered a combination dive/spa package. This enabled me to be treated by the beautiful Liidia who has magic hands. Shore excursions gave us the chance to see how the islanders live as well as learn about the long and interesting history of the spice islands. We had surprise social celebrations such as a welcome cocktail on the roof as well as a sunset drinks party, sitting on beanbags on an amazing beach at sunset (which seemed to last for hours and was so brilliant with glorious colours and everchanging awesome cloud shapes}. The delicious food was varied and abundant with a taste of many cuisines. Our liveaboard experience was one of the best of many travels and I cannot recommend it highly enough.

Fantastic experience that I would easily recommend
tl;dr ScubaSpa was well worth the price. The large cabins were comfortable, staff was friendly, and the scuba was seamless. This was my first liveaboard and first time in Raja Ampat. Both blew away my expectations. I think a large part of that was due to ScubaSpa. I didn't know if I wanted to do a liveaboard. I've been diving for over a decade but always a few days from shore during my trips. The older I've gotten the more willing I have been to spend money on comfort and convenience. So I worried about being stuck on a cramped boat for a week and doing a lot of dives. That ended up noting being a problem with ScubaSpa. The extra boat (dhoni) they have made diving extremely seamless. Everything was kept on the spacious dive boat, taken care of, and prepared before each dive. The groups were small at 2-4 people and each guide took different paths so that we weren't all crowded. It really made the dives much more enjoyable not having 8 other people try to crowd around a tiny shrimp. The atmosphere was relaxed but efficient. I appreciated having an itinerary and how many dives they packed into our stay. I was afraid of being burnt out by diving, and towards the end I was getting tired, but I found myself being disappointed that I couldn't do even more dives.

Exceeds expectations in every way
