Fantastic - expectations were exceeded :-)

The entire process - from the reception of the guests on the mainland to the procedures on the boat to the dives in small groups - was perfectly organized. Despite limited space and full guest occupancy, there was never any hectic. Both the preparation and the diving with max. 4 divers + guide was always relaxed. The whole crew was super nice and helpful, everything was clean and the Indonesian food delicious. In particular, the selection of dive sites was outstanding! From drift dives to relaxed reef dives to mug diving and night dives, nothing was left to be desired. Of course, the fantastic underwater world in Raja Ampat contributed to the overall experience :-).So if you don't have a problem with limited space and simple equipment, you will feel comfortable on the Ratu Laut.

Paradise found: Ratu Laut, the dream making crew

Experiencing Raja Ampat with dive masters who truly love the place is a major highlight. It was apparent that the crew knew what they were doing and the knowledge they passed to us enriched the entire experience. The entire focus of the trip was dive dive dive and we never missed a beat.

I would say the location was the best thing and dive sites, but never have I had the pleasure to sail with such an amazing crew who created the experience of a lifetime. Wendy, our leader, put together an action packed week and still managed to keep it chill. The entire time felt like an itinerary tailor made for the small amount of guests onboard. And knowing our money is going towards conservation efforts is a major bonus as well.

Amazing staff and breath taking dives

Most of the staff were super kind, polite, Wendy our dive master and manager of the boat was super nice, always taking care of us and making sure we were having a great experience overall. The dive sites were really beautiful, but also having the chance of doing different things like visiting Arborek island and Barefoot NGO work with the local community, doing a tracking to see Birds Paradise in Waigeo, understanding better about coral diversity and having the freedom to change plans by being in a Live Aboard.
