This traditional-built Phinisi Schooner has been cruising Indonesia since 2001 and was renovated in 2014 to offer pure diving comfort. With 8 air-conditioned cabins with en-suite bathrooms and catering to a maximum of 16 guests, the experienced and professional crew of the MY Ondina will aim to make this amazing trip one to remember.
There is an air-conditioned dining room and lounge for comfort with an HD TV and an extensive DVD library. There are also 2 covered outside deck areas for relaxation between dives or at the end of the day. Expect a tasty combination of Asian and Western food aboard the SMY Ondina, served buffet or family style. Lunch and dinner are 3 courses, and snacks are available anytime.

Simple comfort, but great diving !!
The boat is very beautiful and comfortable.The pluses: top dive, lots of life, very good organization of the dives. Abundant, good and varied food. Great atmosphere, staff present without being too present.Nice shore visit. General Nitrox.Cons: small cabin and presence of a bunk bed in each room which reduces the space (couple). Marine toilet, well but we are done. Cold showers in the cabins (too bad because there are solar water heaters, perfect here) but hot on deck.We will do it again

Very good boat
This is the second time we used the Ondina, the first time was on Komodo. We chose the Ondina because the food is very good. The atmosphere is always very nice, the diving at the top and the organization by Fede is perfect. We have done several other Liveboards and it is really important that the organization is well done.

A very nice way to explore the seas around Komodo
South of Komodo makes its demands on those diving there. The water is chill (down to 22C), the visibility is so-so. And the current is strong. But this hardship also offers its rewards with great wildlife in stunning scenery. Manta Alley in the south of Komodo is aptly named diving spot. Schools of these majestic creatures danced for us for hours. The local crew and the diving staff was friendly and knowledgeable. This live aboard is highly recommended for eager divers with already a few dives logged. A perfect 5/7 on the Sullivan scale. That being said, I would not bring a non-diving partner with me on this boat as it is a boat and itennery designed for diving. The luxury elements of a floating spa is somewhat lacking:).

Ondina was fabulous
Obviously the underwater stuff is stunning but above water we had side trips to the Papuan villages, the birds of paradise, Wayag as unexpected extras. Ondina has a beautiful wooden interior and is very comfortable. I felt the leadership and crew cared that you had an enjoyable and memorable experience; I did.
