Highlights
Nusantara liveaboard is a 20 m-long (65-feet-long) traditional Indonesian vessel offering divers and guests a unique experience to Komodo while keeping things simple and easy. Taking up to 12 passengers, Nusantara accommodates guests in a dorm cabin sleeping 8 with all beds having privacy curtains, fans, and power sockets available. A further 4 mattresses allow guests to sleep on deck under the stars, enjoying cool night breezes. There are also 2 shared bathrooms onboard. Nusantara has a spacious dive deck area to gear up and enter the water for diving. On the top deck is a large sun deck with bean bags, perfect for relaxing between dives or simply enjoying the surroundings.
Offering different trips between 2-4 nights throughout Komodo, Nusantara offers simple, quick, and easy dive trips to get divers to famous dive spots in Komodo, where they can get between 9-15 dives per trip. Visiting well-known dive sites such as Manta Point, Batu Bolong, or muck diving at Wainilu.

Best value liveaboard experience
I did the 3D2N Komodo liveaboard, and loved every minute. The boat is comfortable and has good common areas to relax. I slept on the upper deck, which had a nice breeze and beautiful view of the stars. It felt like camping at sea. The dive guides were very professional and accommodated beginner and experienced divers. Very good dive briefings, safety first. They were also conscious of avoiding crowds, both for the Komodo dragon trek and for the dives, which made everything a better experience. Thank you to the whole Mikumba team!

An amazing experience
Value for money wise this can’t be beaten. The dive guides are extremely friendly & professional and are always putting the customers first. The diving itself is truly world class in Komodo National park and you will get to do all of the famous sites such as Shotgun, Batu Balong, Crystal Rock etc. The boat is relatively small, but well maintained and comfortable. The sleeping areas are fairly basic but perfectly fine for a short 3 day trip. The food is amazing and there’s plenty of it. I would highly recommend this trip to anybody

Excellent affordable liveaboard in Komodo
Would absolutely recommend diving from the Nusantara, I had a great Komodo tour with them. The staff is excellent, taking absolutely everything out of your hands and letting you focus just on the diving. The dive guides were really passionate and showed us a lot of great marine life. They also take good care of safety, i.e. by checking in regularly on me after I had some equalizing problems on one dive. The boat staff kept the boat in impeccably clean condition and made us great food. The liveaboard is quite affordable, because the facilities are not super luxurious: it is basically a floating hostel for divers. If you are looking for more luxury another boat might be better. But for me, I was more than happy with the value for money! The one thing they could improve is a bit more transparency in the pricing upfront. The park fee is quite steep (and it was not communicated clearly that the price of 300k was per day, and not per trip) and there was a fuel surcharge after booking. I would have preferred everything to be included in the price upfront.

We were on the road with the Nusantara for three days and were completely satisfied! The dive sites were really great! And the care on board was great! The food was delicious and more than we could eat. For the dives, the crew prepared everything and was very helpful.We can recommend Mikumba Dive Center with a good heart!

Most incredible experience!
I loved every bit of my trip on Nusantara. The crew were absolutely amazing - always helpful, taking extra care of us, expert on the dive sights, providing us with delicious food and refreshments. The diving was incredible - such life on the coral and great sightings. Seeing the Komodo dragons was great, and the sunset hike was beautiful. The fun, young and experienced other guests were an added bonus! Thank you all!

Great Diving in Komodo
