Mikumba Dua boasts the largest outdoor space found on any vessel in her class, spanning over 4 decks, allowing guests to indulge in alfresco dining under the stars while sipping away at their favorite drink or perhaps getting involved in some sunrise/sunset yoga or just lounging around on beanbags with a book. The main hub of the boat is the beautiful indoor salon, which also offers dining, a cinema room, a library, board games, or simply space for relaxation. There are 2 Master cabins on the upper deck, both en-suite and with their own private balcony, with a further 3 double/twin cabins on the lower deck sharing 2 bathrooms. All cabins are spacious and individually designed, embracing traditional local materials and fabrics.
Dining generally takes place on the top deck while taking in incredible vistas; our legendary local chef will provide a selection of authentic dishes prepared daily using the freshest locally sourced ingredients and cooked with dedication and love. Great trip but bring your own dive gear
Great diving. The dive at the shotgun was a real highlight and the most fun I’ve had diving for a while. The only negative was the condition of the dive gear. Needing a replacement. Holes in the wetsuit and gear kept breaking. Holes in the BCD pockets. Especially for the amount that it cost to rent it, I was disappointed. (€150) Bring your own gear perhaps. Otherwise, it was a trip that I’ll remember forever. Thanks Mikumba

Amazing trip. Would do it again.
The diving in Komodo was excellent, lead by dive guides Faldy and Saldy. The entire crew was very professional and welcoming. The boat was very comfortable, the food was excellent, everything was great.

Perfect diving, on-board and above-water experience
We have to start with the diving - Komodo has exceptional and varied sites. The dive guides- special mention to Saldy - were experienced, knowledgable and professional., making sure that every diver was well-prepared for the conditions at each site and had a great experience. Strong full moon currents made for exciting dives with loads of manta and shark action, but also the best coral and quantity of fish that we have seen for a long time, The balance with inland activities between dives was also great (dragons and a couple of lovely sunset treks). however, the main reason we are so pleased that we chose the Mikumba Dua was the perfect on-board experience. The master cabin was beautiful, light and far more roomy than expected, with its own balcony. On deck was chilled and the chef did a phenomenal job of feeding us with delicious, fresh food. The entire crew were so professional and friendly. Working as a great team to make sure everything was perfect with our trio. We loved the last night party on board - gate-crashed by some from surrounding boats - the music, singing and dancing was that good! Honestly, there’s nothing we can say could be improved - thank you to the whole crew🙏

Will be very very hard to forget such an awesome experience
Our trip aboard the Mikumba Dua was absolutely incredible from start to finish. The dive sites were simply astonishing—some of the most beautiful and memorable diving I've ever experienced. Every dive offered something special, and the underwater scenery exceeded all expectations. The staff were outstanding: highly professional, knowledgeable, and always focused on safety, while also being great fun to be around. Their enthusiasm and passion for diving made the whole experience even more enjoyable. One of the unexpected highlights was the fantastic group of guests on board. What started as great company quickly turned into new friendships, making the trip even more special. The food was also excellent throughout the journey, with plenty of variety and consistently delicious meals that kept us well-fuelled between dives. I would recommend the Mikumba Dua in a heartbeat to anyone looking for an exceptional liveaboard adventure. Amazing diving, wonderful crew, great food, and lifelong memories—what more could you ask for?

Your dreams will come true on Mikumba Dua
Best liveaboard we ever visited. Not only the boat was absolutely clean and maintained, but every single crew made us feel welcome and tried to make our holidays amazing. From the beginning of pick up at the hotel it was so smooth and everything was taking care of. Crew was fun and friendly and professional in each aspect.Our family of 4 including 13 and 15 year old divers were in great , safe hands and we all had the best time of our lives thanks to really everyone on the boat. And I have to mention the food - so many different food, colors and smells always on the top of the deck with milion dollar views. This liveaborad with its crew and surrounding nature is hard to find and needs to experienced.

perfect liveaboard
The crew are all incredibly friendly. our dive guides sali and fali are witty, humorous and highly professional. My fellow divers are warm and amiable too. The food is delicious. The scenery on land is also lovely. We watched sunrises, the bright moon rising over the sea and countless stars filling the sky every day. The boat is comfortable, and the underwater scenery is absolutely stunning. It’s been an amazing diving experience — gorgeous corals, schools of fish and exciting currents.

Great liveaboard in Komodo!
Nice boat with friendly crew and good food! Lots of beautiful dives with good guidance of the dive guide. It was only a shame that Nitrox was not available.

Indescribable moments
The service was absolutely top notch and the crew incredibly familiar – you immediately feel welcome. The dive sites were fantastic, and the experienced dive masters knew exactly where to find which animals. I was able to gain a lot of experience for my own diving skills and received valuable tips from the dive masters. The food on board was also delicious and rounded off the experience perfectly. Despite two rainy days, the tour was flexibly adapted and the best of it was made. The highlight for me was the dive at Manta Point – meeting the majestic giant manta rays so close was an unforgettable experience.
