There are 2 Master cabins on the upper deck, both en-suite and with their own private balcony, with a further 3 double/twin cabins on the lower deck sharing 2 bathrooms. I have been very fortunate to travel and dive in many parts of the world, but this trip will be hard to duplicate.
I can't tell you how much we enjoyed the experience of the Dikumba Dua and it's crew. They went out of their way to insure that our late guest made it to the boat and felt welcome aboard. Their attention to safety, diving, and the overall guest experience was exceptional. I would recommend any diver to enjoy the Dikumba Dua experience. Well worth the money and time it takes to enjoy the Komodo Islands.

An unforgettable Komodo liveaboard
Wonderful experience! From the boat facilities to the day to day organization, everything was exceptional. The crew was well prepared, friendly and always available. The diving activity was simply fantastic. I went with a friend and left with several, there was a great bond with the other guests too. 5 days to remember!

Exceptional five days in Komodo with Mikumba Dua
The diving was outstanding. Batu Bolong's wall of fish, the current swept adrenaline of Castle Rock and Shotgun, and then Manta Point, which was everything I hoped for and more. Mantas circling the cleaning station, close enough that I lost track of time. The currents in Komodo are serious and they make the diving what it is. Add the Komodo dragons on land and the Padar viewpoint, and it is hard to think of a richer five days. What made the trip, though, was the people. Gun, our dive master, is genuinely professional and deeply knowledgeable. His briefings were excellent, he read the currents beautifully, and he found things I would have swum straight past. The whole crew was warm and welcoming from the moment I stepped aboard. And Jeremy, the owner, is an outstanding and caring host, attentive without ever hovering, and he made sure everyone on board was properly looked after. I eat gluten free and have a few other dietary restrictions that can be difficult to manage on a boat. Mikumba handled it perfectly, without any fuss, for five days straight. That level of care tells you a lot about an operation. I arrived as a solo diver and left with a group of people I will stay in touch with. If you are considering Komodo, book it.

Great trip with many highlights
Very nice diving trip with many highlights, but only suitable for experienced divers with good physical condition, as there are very strong and unpredictable currents.Great landscapes and a very good and healthy meal thanks to mom on board, many thanks also to the experienced guides and the great group. Gene again....

Perfect diving, on-board and above-water experience
We have to start with the diving - Komodo has exceptional and varied sites. The dive guides- special mention to Saldy - were experienced, knowledgable and professional., making sure that every diver was well-prepared for the conditions at each site and had a great experience. Strong full moon currents made for exciting dives with loads of manta and shark action, but also the best coral and quantity of fish that we have seen for a long time, The balance with inland activities between dives was also great (dragons and a couple of lovely sunset treks). however, the main reason we are so pleased that we chose the Mikumba Dua was the perfect on-board experience. The master cabin was beautiful, light and far more roomy than expected, with its own balcony. On deck was chilled and the chef did a phenomenal job of feeding us with delicious, fresh food. The entire crew were so professional and friendly. Working as a great team to make sure everything was perfect with our trio. We loved the last night party on board - gate-crashed by some from surrounding boats - the music, singing and dancing was that good! Honestly, there’s nothing we can say could be improved - thank you to the whole crew🙏

I highly recommend this trip!
I truly had the best time on the Mikumba Dua. The boat lacks nothing, and the crew is warm, welcoming, and incredibly attentive. The program is very well thought out, and the dive sites are diverse and absolutely beautiful. I will definitely come back!

A fantastic boat, amazing crew and incredible dive sites. I can't fault it!
Myself and my boyfriend had a fantastic trip onboard Mikumba Dua in December around Komodo National Park. The itinery was perfect, with a wide range of dive sites, and the added bonus of the trips onto the islands to see the dragons was brilliant. We loved that we also had the opportunity to snorkel, paddle board and kayak during breaks between diving. The boat itself was very well maintained, clean and a good layout. We had one of the double cabins which was really lovely. The food was great and there was a wide range available for all tastes and diets. Dive guides were brilliant fun and very professional and great at pointing things out to us. Couldn't fault it!

Amazing Live a Board Komodo islands on the Mikumba Dua
Our first time LiveAboard and it was amazing. From the moment we met the crew we had a great time. The boat was perfect. In perfect condition and the crew made sure it was like that during the entire trip. Everything was so well arranged. The crew did everything in such a way that it was professional and relaxed at the same time. We quickly made new friends and enjoyed the 5 days to the max. We went to amazing sites for diving. Guided by 2 skilled dive masters. The dingy-drivers did a great job. The cooks made us amazing meals 3 times a day. The captain made sure it was smooth sailing everytime. Compliments to all the crewmembers. We would recomend the Mikumba Dua to everybody who would want to do a Live a board. If this is your first time or if you have done this before this will be an amazing trip. We stayed in the mastercabin and that was like staying in a 5 star floating hotel room. We would really recommend that, but if it is just for sleeping and your suitcase the other rooms are also great. Hope to come again Maribel and Martijn from Belanda (The Netherlands)

Best first liveaboard experience!
I couldn’t have imagined a better first liveaboard experience. The boat was very comfortable and the details are well thought through. The crew are really warm and friendly, the itinerary is well made and the communication and briefing for our days was great. I shared a below deck cabin which was comfortable and clean.
