Perfect dive trip

All of the crew were amazing - really made the trip special. Tobias, Steve and Angela in particular took really good care of us. The dive sites were amazing. I have done a lot of diving in the past but never seen anything like that before. The boat was amazing - so comfortable in the rooms and communal living areas.

Expensive but worth it!

Amazing trip to Komodo! World-class dive sites, and made all the better by the Mermaid II crew. Was amazing having a marine biologist on board to explain things as well. Food was delicious, rooms were clean and comfortable, and the boat was spacious. Service was second to none, absolutely no stress about equipment, just eat, sleep, dive, repeat.

Best way to visit komodo national park

Beside the beauty of the location, I particularly appreciated Montse, the boat leader, for having everything smoothly organized and Alex , photographer and video master, for the wonderful pics and videos (good to share memories once back home)

Amazing diving with a fantastic crew

Overall the dive trip experience was excellent. Areas to improve would be spreading the dive groups out more when they are in the water. On multiple dives we were running into other groups from our boat. Also, smoking is permitted in the main outside shaded deck which is not fair for the non-smokers. I had to spend most of the trip inside the air-con room because I get a headache from cigarette smoke and many of the other divers were smoking all the time.

1. Excellent diving, particularly in the south (visibility not so good in the north) 2. The entire crew is very good. Detailed dive briefings, excellent crew to help organize gear-up and post diving.

One week of luxury and fun

I needed one week off, relaxing and diving. It was just a perfect experience for me as an experienced diver, as well as for my unexperienced friend.
